[Happy National Day] _1 (Happy National Day!）

Tap tap tap!

The sound of footsteps in the cave is very clear and distinct.

“Chitter chatter!

Chitter chatter!” The cautious voices of the Wa people came from ahead.

Jia Yan’s compound eyes flashed slightly.

These Wa people haven’t even reached the place where the huge machinery is hidden yet!

But it makes sense, in such a strange underground world, humans will always be very careful.

Jia Yan also slowed down slightly!

“Commander Horiyama, this place is very strange, unlike the cave where our divine object in Wa Kingdom is located,” said a woman from the three Wa people walking ahead, her face a little pale, as she looked around.

“Who says it’s not the same, it is said that when the divine object’s cave was first discovered, the scenery was not much different from here, and there were also some strange creatures inside, but after the army of the Great Wa Empire began to enter, those creatures became extinct,” replied the sunglasses-clad Commander Horiyama.

“Have you noticed the glowing algae on the ceiling of this cave?

It is said that the original divine object’s cave also had similar plants, but after the troops of the Great Wa Empire entered there, and unknowingly disturbed the divine object in some way, all the glowing algae in there died, even the bizarre substances in the air disappeared, and in the end, the divine object also became a dead thing.”

“Our mission this time is to confirm whether the machinery in this Huaxia cave is similar to our divine object in Wa Kingdom.

If it is similar…”

Commander Horiyama paused slightly, frowning.

“There’s a sound up ahead, like that of a flying creature.

We need to speed up!”

Saying this, his pace accelerated.

The sound Horiyama heard was indeed the flapping of Jia Yan’s wings, but he mistook it for the sound of the army of weasels coming from behind.

Jia Yan entered the cave so late, yet arrived at the location of the huge machinery earlier than these people!

In this deep and quiet cave.

The ceiling is covered with glowing algae that emits a faint light.

The main passage of the cave is about three meters high, this cave should have only one entrance and exit, the whole thing resembling a simplified curved line.

But in the middle of this line, there is another cave connected to it, which also has a height of three to four meters!

Jia Yan has now arrived at the fork in the line!

This time, he didn’t rush past all at once.

There is no army of giant weasels chasing after him.

Nor is there any reason to pass this place quickly.

So this time, he can get a clear look at this fork in the cave, as well as what’s inside!

At the first glance, it is a very postmodern style!

Jia Yan’s compound eyes flashed a hint of shock!

He had only vaguely seen a little of it last time.

But this time he clearly saw that it was indeed a huge machine!

The aerodynamic main body of the machine refracts the light of the glowing algae.

The overall craftsmanship resembles masterful sculptures, the lines are smooth, the appearance looks like it is made in one mold, there are no visible screws, nor any welding points.

It is over three meters high, and the width is also about three meters.

Very square and sharp, yet it doesn’t detract from its sci-fi feel, it is dizzyingly mesmerizing.

The machine is eye-catching, but next to this machine, what attracts even more attention are the three huge monsters standing!

These three monsters stand still, each of them about two meters high.

Because he had a fleeting glimpse of the monster’s appearance last time, Jia Yan wasn’t too surprised to see them again.

They have six slender legs, two meters high, and a body length of about two meters.

If he had to describe it, it would be somewhat like a spider, but it only has six legs, unlike a spider’s eight, so Jia Yan can’t describe it with any known creature, it can only be called a “neither fish nor fowl” creature!

But this neither fish nor fowl creature doesn’t seem so easy to provoke!

Its body is covered with a sheath that is similar to an exoskeleton and also somewhat like metallic armor.

This armor has no gaps or defects, just like the huge machine beside it, it is made in one piece, even the joints are tightly protected.

The top part of the body has a round bulge, it’s unknown what’s inside its stomach.

Its head is not very big, and it’s entirely retracted into the back part of the stomach armor, it looks a bit like a retractable turtle.

“What a terrifying creature!”

Jia Yan looked at this creature, although he did not see them move, but he felt that it wasn’t that simple!

“Now I know why I’ve always felt this place is so terrifying.

The reason isn’t the machine, it’s these three creatures!”

The more Jia Yan looked, the more he felt that these three creatures were very terrifying.

He did not want to approach and test if they could move or not.

So he decisively retreated!

With a flutter of his wings, Jia Yan tried to keep his flying sound as low as possible.

He looked around the cave.

In the main cavern, a cluster of downward-growing stalactites caught his eye, which some people also like to call stone bamboo shoots.

In the underground world, stalactites are a common sight.

Jia Yan’s compound eyes flashed before he flew towards a hidden place where these stalactites were situated.

With six legs tightly clenching the base of the stalactite, his body stayed upside down.

In this way, Jia Yan concealed himself at the top of the cave!

The spot he chose at the root of the stalactite had a small crevice that allowed him to discreetly observe the outside world, while it was extremely difficult for anyone outside to see him!

Moreover, there were few luminescent algae growing nearby.

His dark metal exoskeleton was perfectly camouflaged in the darkness.

While he was hiding, the footsteps that were not far off began to gradually approach, getting closer and closer!

However, three people from the Wa Kingdom appeared.

“Oh!

Jili Guala?!”

“Jili Guala, Jili Guala!”

Jia Yan saw that the three people from the Wa Kingdom feigned a look of surprise upon sighting the mysterious giant machine.

But when they saw the three giant monsters standing around the machine, their faces dramatically changed, even the man who looked like the leader and wore sunglasses was sweating profusely on the spot!

“These three definitely know what this machine is.

But they have clearly never seen those three monsters beside it!”

“Let’s see if they will get close and explore for me.

After all, these people from the Wa Kingdom risked their life to come here for some purpose.

Those monsters won’t move, it seems they wouldn’t retreat just like that!”

“Hori Tachiumi, what are these monsters?

I have never heard that such creatures exist around the Divine Object!”

“Do the Divine Objects in the Huaxian kingdom differ from those in our Wa Kingdom!”

The two followers of Hori Tachiumi, a man and a woman, both lost their composure as the sight of the three giant creatures shocked them and induced unspeakable fear.

“Hachigoriruth!

Look carefully, these are just immobile objects!

Warriors of the great Wa Kingdom, you are not comparable to our predecessors of decades ago.

Get a hold of yourselves right now!”

Hori Tachiumi bellowed with rage, causing the man and woman who were about to flee in panic to blush heavily.

Despite his own face being a bit stern, as a globally celebrated Strong One, he didn’t harbor any thoughts of retreating even though he was a bit startled!

“The Divine Object itself is an extraordinarily mysterious entity.

Although some of our Wa Kingdom’s senior researchers have guessed that it is a relic of an ancient civilization in recent years, all these have nothing to do with me.

I just need to accomplish the task.”

Hori Tachiumi stared at the three giant creatures, as an unconventional individual himself, he knew very well that there were some unexplainable things in this world.

He himself was one of them.

The Wa Kingdom’s Divine Object was another, and the machine in front of his eyes appeared to be another!

Moreover, the three monsters standing beside the machine would have to be added to the list of inexplicable things after this.

The people from the Wa Kingdom are easily stimulated by righteousness, and once stimulated, they act as if they were infected with mad cow disease.

“I apologize, Hori Tachiumi!

It was our mistake.

Please let me, Yamamoto, go and investigate.”

Upon hearing Hori Tachiumi’s reprimand, the man with two scars on his face flushed with embarrassment.

Neglecting his previous panic, he asked Hori for the dangerous mission!

“Good, that’s the posture a warrior from our Wa Kingdom should have!

Yamamoto, you go and investigate, but be cautious about those three monsters!”

“Hi!” Yamamoto responded enthusiastically.

He seemed like a martyr who bravely marched towards certain death, striding confidently towards the huge machine in the forked path!

Witnessing this performance, Jia Yan couldn’t help but laugh even though he didn’t understand the language of the Wa Kingdom.

The people from the Wa Kingdom were still the same, boasting about what they called the samurai spirit.

However, upon seeing the scarred man journey into the forked cave, Jia Yan’s expression turned serious!

This man going to explore was a good thing.

Now, it was time to see if those three machines were living creatures!

If they were, Jia Yan wouldn’t hesitate for even half a second!

He would immediately bolt and flee without hesitation!

Not running away from these things that were beyond human understanding would be asking for death.

Yamamoto entered the cave, which was illuminated by the luminescent algae, casting a bright light.

The cave was not deep, only about seven or eight meters, so after housing the enormous machine and the three giant creatures, there was hardly any room left.

Hiss…

Yamamoto cautiously approached the objects in the cave.

He tightly held a pistol in his hand, his face tense with apprehension.

Jia Yan believed that Yamamoto must be an expert in the outside world, but at this moment, inside the cave, he behaved like a frightened child!

Of course, it wasn’t his fault.

If anyone else faced the surreal scene in front of them, they would react the same way.

With Yamamoto getting closer with each step, the giant machine was right in front of him.

Yamamoto slowly extended his other hand that wasn’t holding the gun.

His palm touched the surface of the machine…
