[Seeking subscription]_1 A blood-stained foreleg pierced through the back of a young self-defense team member from the Wa Kingdom!

The heavy bulletproof vest didn’t impede Jia Yan’s foreleg in any meaningful way.

A chilling sensation surged through Jia Yan’s heart!

As for killing, he had already killed many, and there would only be more in the future, but he would never kill senselessly.

He only killed those who obstructed him or those who harbored ill will or grudges against him.

The current self-defense team members of the Wa Kingdom were evidently obstructing his pursuit of the two mercenaries, and even that sniper rifle was posing a threat to his life.

That’s why he chose to kill them!

“Quick!

Shake him off!”

The voice of Ozawa Ichizo in the car blared out.

His overly long sniper rifle was laid on the floor of the car, and he reached for the pistol holstered at his waist.

Thud!

The expression on the face of the young self-defense team member, whose chest Jia Yan had pierced through, twisted in extreme agony!

Jia Yan pulled out his long leg!

The blade-like chitin was withdrawn from the young member’s body!

The young self-defense team member, his gaze defocused, slumped down.

Next to him was a colleague who was watching him collapse without daring to make any move!

Clink, clink…

Jia Yan gently pulled his long leg from the exterior.

The coagulate on the surface of the long leg rubbed against the vehicle’s defense armor, continuously producing faint sounds!

“Quick!

Aren’t our main troops right ahead?

Hurry up and go!

No!

First use the walkie-talkie to inform the front of our situation here!”

Ozawa Ichizo was still quite sure-footed in his heart.

Although this chief of the self-defense team had not actually participated in any real battles, it did not prevent him from making a judgment about the current situation!

“Okay, okay!” The soldier in the front row in charge of communications picked up the walkie-talkie in his hand.

Ozawa Ichizo quickly moved to the back and first took a look at his injured colleague.

He then put on a grim expression and pointed the firearm in his hand at the area of the vehicle that had been pierced by the Big Mosquito monster.

Quickly aiming and shooting at the hole!

Bang, bang, bang!

He wasn’t hoping that the small firearm in his hand could inflict any damage to the external mosquito monster!

He just thought that if the outside monster heard the sound, it would pause its attack a bit!

After all, even if it was just a creature, its wisdom could never be as powerful as a human’s!

The loud explosions might even scare it away!

His thought wasn’t wrong, but this idea only applied if the mosquito monster was truly a creature without intelligence!

Yes, Jia Yan was a creature!

But to say he lacked wisdom would be a gross underestimate!

“Do you want to stop my attack?

It’s not that easy!”

He quickly retracted his long leg from the outside and rapidly raised it again!

He thrust the blade-like chitin down at the vehicle’s armor once more!

Thud!

Because of its extreme length, once the slender foreleg was raised and then hammered down, it would possess terrifying momentum!

All the energy of this momentum converged at the furthest end of the blade-like chitin, which was the sharpest and most pointed part of it!

For a terrifying giant mosquito like him to break open the body of a light armored car, which was not particularly impressive, with a blade-like chitin, it was not very difficult!

Accompanied by a thunderous roar, another hole appeared in the rear side of the vehicle!

Thud!

A blood-stained foreleg emerged, and this time it hadn’t pierced any person, though it had scared all the people in the car into breaking out in cold sweat!

How on earth were they to deal with this monster that they couldn’t beat or chase away?!

All people present were somewhat desperate!

But fortunately, the main force in front was already within sight!

The armored car could see the line of lights ahead, as well as the self-defense officers and the policemen fighting with the masked “unidentified criminals.”

“Repeat, there is a giant mosquito monster on our vehicle!

Firearms are ineffective against it, please coordinate to drive away this mosquito monster!”

“Received, received!

OVER!”

The response from ahead came through the communication device in the car, which made the faces of everyone in the car relax!

Jia Yan on top of the armored car had clearly seen the main camps of the self-defense team and the police fighting ahead.

He couldn’t help but ponder for a moment.

Since there wasn’t any time to chase them off, then at least he had to make the people in the car lose the ability to snipe at him again!

Jia Yan looked at the road up ahead.

Suddenly, he noticed an emergency turning corner up ahead!

“Right here!”

Upon seeing this, Jia Yan swiftly turned his body, and the body lying on the car abruptly turned to face the front of the car!

On the windshield, the shadow of a slender, long leg quickly appeared!

The self-defense team member acting as the driver stared as the foreleg rose in the air!

The blade-like chitin was shining with a chilling light that made one’s heart palpitate with fear!

Then it stabbed down directly!

“Ah!” The driver screamed!

The bulletproof glass was as fragile as paper.

It was unknown just how sharp and tipped Jia Yan’s blade-like chitin of the foreleg was.

When it pierced through this bulletproof armor, it encountered virtually no resistance!

Thud!

A foreleg stabbed into the front of the driver’s seat!

As he had already seen the direction of the foreleg’s attack, the driver reacted very quickly this time and hurriedly dodged!

Perhaps because the self-defense team member had received decent training, so even after this hair-breadth dodge, Jia Yan’s long leg that had stabbed at him actually missed!

But Jia Yan didn’t really want to kill him!

He only had one aim!

So, make the vehicle lose control!

Indeed, upon seeing the driver of the armored car, who was ducking to avoid his chitin-on-blade, unable to control the steering wheel any longer, Jia Yan knew his plan worked!

The armored vehicle did not turn on the rapidly approaching road bend, it went straight ahead!

Bang!!!

The driver and passengers in the car weren’t given enough time to react!

The armored car sped up, smashed through the sturdy guardrail, and then leaped into the air!

Below was a cliff by the sea!

Underneath was the deep sea that was several meters deep!

Screams rang out from almost everyone inside the car!

After having glided for an instant, the heavy armored car fell straight down!

But before that, a giant creature with black skin spread its wings!

Buzz buzz buzz!!!

The wings flapped violently!

The Giant Mosquito took flight!

But such good fortune did not befall the armored car!

Boom!!

Splash!!!

The heavy armored car splashed into the sea!

Gurgle gurgle…

Blowing bubbles, it sank towards the depths in an instant!

Jia Yan didn’t care about the lives or deaths of the people inside the car!

They had a high chance of survival, but it was never his intention to massacre everyone in the car!

If he could prevent that terrifying weapon from firing any more bullets, then he would’ve achieved his goal!

“This should temporarily prevent the gun from wreaking havoc, right?

To get out of the sea and retrieve the gun would require a considerable amount of time.

By then, I’ll have already left!”

With his compound eyes refracting distant flashes of light from the battling arena, Jia Yan glanced at the eerie, sunless sea where no figures were in sight, then slightly adjusted his wing’s angle!

Hum hum hum!!!

This time, he was flying towards the main battlefield!

Having realized his body’s ability to strongly resist ordinary bullets.

With the addition of the mysterious azure exoskeleton on his body, resistance against stronger bullets was further enhanced.

Jia Yan figured he could be a bit more daring in his actions!

Meanwhile, in the war zone.

Another man with the same rank insignia as Ozawa Ichizo was frowning, continuously contacting someone through his walkie-talkie!

“Vehicle 3, please respond!

Vehicle 3, please respond!”

Beep beep…

Ssss…

“We…

need help, dropped…

inside!”

Intermittent voices came from the walkie-talkie, making the man within the armored car grimace!

What on earth happened to Ozawa Ichizo’s team?

The man, who was at least a decade older and had not climbed the ranks through combat power like Ozawa Ichizo, grew restless!

He had been hoping that upon Ozawa Ichizo’s arrival at the battlefield, those mercenaries would be pinned down or even eliminated directly with gunfire!

But now, that idea was no longer feasible!

“Quick!

Send two people over to see what’s going on!

They might have fallen into water at the bend up front!

Also watch out for that Giant Mosquito monster!”

The man dubbed as Ichizo could only helplessly rub his eyebrows.

“Ichizo Ozawa!” Suddenly, a partially bald man outside the armored car was banging on the car door!

With the approval of the man called Ichizo, one soldier in the vehicle opened the door.

Everyone recognized this partially bald man, he was the highest ranked individual from the police force, a man named Endo who held the position of Police Chief!

The defense force had always cooperated with the police, hence no one put on airs, allowing Endo into the armored car!

“Police Chief Endo!

What’s the matter?” The man known as Ichizo Ozawa was the one who had been communicating through the walkie-talkie.

He was currently bothered by the current situation.

Knowing that Police Chief Endo had also climbed into the vehicle with a solemn expression on his face, he knew that there was likely more bad news!

“Ichizo Ozawa, we’re in trouble!

We just got notified from above that an official NHK interview helicopter has entered the vicinity and has applied for broadcast rights.

We’re going on-air live across the nation to broadcast this battle!”

As expected, Police Chief Endo broke the news that frustrated Ichizo Ozawa!

“Those damn journalists always use their press rights to bend us to their will!

Chief, quickly have your men ready for an attack!

If we show ourselves weak in front of the whole nation, tomorrow’s newspaper headlines will definitely be filled with criticisms, and the credibility of the defense force and the police will definitely drop drastically!”

The media in the Wa Kingdom was terrifying.

Many TV programs have invited prime ministers to talk shows and presented them with sharp questions, leading to them having to announce their resignation the next day.

If the defense force and the police can’t demonstrate combat power against a few robbers, they will not have good days ahead!

As expected, as soon as Police Chief Endo finished discussing with Ichizo Ozawa, they heard the rumble of a small helicopter shining with lights, flying towards the battlefield from the distant sky…

“Good evening, dear viewers.

This is an urgent live broadcast from the news scene!”

In the helicopter, a very beautiful and well-known Wa Kingdom news anchor spoke to the camera with a solemn expression on her face!

The live broadcast had begun!

Buzz buzz buzz…

It was at this moment that the Giant Mosquito, flying stealthily in the sky, was closing in on the masked men engaged in the battle.
