Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4247  Terrifying Lucian

Eterna and the other children were already awed by Lucian, but as they saw their father, their jaws dropped. Naturally, Eterna and Celestia were more aware. They knew their motherʼs prowess could stand somewhere between ten to twelve levels higher since they saw the Candidacy. However, that was at the Immortal King Stage.

To think they were still this powerful in the Immortal Emperor Stage was something they didnʼt expect. Still, they knew their father was as strong as their mothers or more powerful, so they guessed he had a prowess that was ten levels higher in the Immortal Emperor Stage. Therefore, it should be ten or twelve levels higher in the Immortal King Stage.

It didnʼt seem like it was the case anymore.

Since their father easily received Lucianʼs attacks at Level Two Immortal Emperor Stage, they felt Davisʼs prowess must be at least thirteen levels higher or more!

”Whatʼs wrong? You have not made me move one bit from where I stand.”

”Father, you lied!”

Davis grinned at his son, instantly recognizing that his true prowess was hidden. He provided no comment, merely gesturing with his finger for his son to come and attack him.

”…!”

Lucianʼs body was instantly wrapped in golden flames. It formed a strange devilish armor against him. It was unknown if he was doing it subconsciously or consciously, but his kind son seemed quite imposing, filling Davis with pride. He could barely hide a smile when a fist hit his cheek, sending him flying.

ʼAh, what bliss…ʼ

Davis looked at the Solar Reverence in the skies while flying back as he felt like he could rest assured and die somewhere while leaving the family to his second son.

Nonetheless, the moment the punch connected, his soul sense invaded his sonʼs body again, and he managed to find the inner workings of the dantian. He saw that his sonʼs physique was filled with an enormous amount of apocalyptic energy that was destructive in nature.

This meant that his son Lucian was capable of learning Destruction Laws. It was already suspected, but he now practically confirmed it from the intensity of the change in the golden apocalyptic flames during the Lunar Eclipse. If he could master these flames, he guessed he would be much more powerful.

Moreover, he saw that Lucianʼs energy didnʼt lessen one bit. It was impossible that no energy was lost considering the powerful attacks he was using, so Davis came to the conclusion the Solar Reverence was constantly rejuvenating him, giving him an endless source of energy.

He guessed this phenomenon was limited to the Lunar Eclipse.

Lucian didnʼt stop once he set his father flying. Although he was stunned, his expression lit up, and he charged once more with golden apocalyptic flames rising, making him look as though he was a flaming divinity.

He appeared above his father and punched out again, this time in the gut.

Golden flames burst forth from his fist, but it missed Davis as he twisted mid-air and sent a flying kick against Lucianʼs ribs, sending him flying.

Lucian barely managed to defend with his other arm before he forcefully tried to gain balance.

Thereafter ensued a flurry of exchanges.

”…”

Niera and the others watched with a mix of pride and awe.

Father and son were battling it out nearly at an equal footing, with Davis intentionally suppressing his prowess. They could see he was trying to bring out the hidden potential within Lucian to control the golden apocalyptic flames to the maximum limit possible.

The Lunar Eclipse may be the time when the Solar Apocalypse Physique was the hardest to control, but the opposite was also true. It is the most optimal time to reign control and gain supremacy over the physique, not to mention limit the disaster that the Solar Apocalypse Physique could bring in since if one was unable to control it and was killed, it would burst with one of the deadliest explosions that people had ever seen.

It was said that it was akin to the death of an Empyrean Grade Star.

If a peak Immortal Emperor with the Solar Apocalypse Physique exploded in a Minor Realm during the Lunar Eclipse, then one can be sure that the entire Minor Realm would be scorched to death.

Even after a few hours had passed, Lucian was still at the top of his game, seemingly having limitless energy and stamina while throwing out the most dangerous attacks. This made them understand why the Solar Apocalypse Physique was seen as one of the most dangerous Divergent Physiques. The endless energy also made them understand why it was capable of ruining a Minor Realm in an instant, while Calypseaʼs apocalyptic flames would take days or months to spread to the entire realm.

It was because the Solar Reverence supplied energy to this physique, and the physiqueʼs death would result in the absolute worst disaster that a realm could ever face.

”…”

Fairy Runaliseʼs expression grew colder. She felt like she couldnʼt leave this Divergent alive with how fast he grew.

Right now, his prowess was already eight levels higher on top of having his cultivation boosted by seven levels higher! Together, they amounted to an overall prowess that was fifteen levels higher during the Lunar Eclipse!

His growth was just too quick!

Besides, it would boost him towards the next cultivation level so easily if he were in the Level Three Immortal King Stage, allowing him to step into the Level One Immortal Emperor Stage. After all, cultivation levels were different than prowess. That was why the difference was made between cultivation levels and battle prowess in this physique.

Of course, at that time, the Solar Apocalypse Physique would also push him into taking the Immortal Emperor Heavenly Tribulation, dooming the owner of the physique. Even if it was temporary, stepping into the next stage in terms of cultivation base will pull the heavenly tribulation without a doubt.

The heavenly tribulation would also suppress the explosion, making sure the realm wasnʼt harmed. Hence, it was way better for a rampaging Solar Apocalypse Physique Divergent to die in a heavenly tribulation than be killed during the Lunar Eclipse.

But other than these facts, as a Heavenʼs Warrior, she knew the scariest thing about this divergent physique was that it didnʼt conform to the layer limit. If they didnʼt kill him, he would reign supreme during the Lunar Eclipse by entering the Exalt Stage from a Level Three Empyrean and be filled with limitless energy in those twelve hours, capable of killing all lifeforms within the Lower Realms!

That was why the user of the Solar Apocalypse Physique was termed to be the greatest threat the Lower Realms could ever face, and not a single one of them could be left alive! They were invincible during the Lunar Eclipse!
