Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4207  Stellaʼs Newfound Powers

Davis and the others left Esmond Stavengerʼs place.

There was no sign of Esmond Stavengerʼs wives. They may be in his life ring or sent away as Davis guessed that the other party feared his trait of being a womanizer.

Davis could only laugh at that since he was not into stealing wives.

Soon, he returned back to the Realm Core and entered the tiny mini-realm. After making it towards the Void Dust Tree, he went underneath and saw Stella seated on the wooden bed.

She looked dazzling and breathtaking as her purple hair swayed when she turned to look at him, awakening his desires, but he kept them at bay and greeted her.

”Good morning, sweetheart.”

”Davis~” Stella couldnʼt hide her smile.

She could feel the intrinsic connection she had with Davis. It filled her heart to the brim with warmth, thinking that with this change, Davis was truly her human. It couldnʼt be described with words.

She had always thought a Void Dust Tree and a human couldnʼt form a pact but clearly, this had been the way— to share her golden-ringed Void Dust Tree Fruit. After becoming an Empyrean, she knew full well what this fruit entailed to her. It was a part of her life quintessence.

”Yes, your comprehension of Space Laws will grow alongside mine. You never need to bother comprehending it by yourself unless you want to surpass me~”

Stella giggled as she reported to him one of the many benefits of the Golden Ringed Void Dust Tree Fruit.

”…” Davis went flabbergasted.

Wasnʼt this heavenly resource kind of overpowered?

He couldnʼt help but ask, ”What else is there? And it couldnʼt be just benefits. What are the drawbacks?”

At this moment, the others also entered the chamber between the roots. They looked at her curiously, waiting for her to answer.

”Mhm…” Stella adopted a thinking gesture as she brought her index finger to her lips and pouted, ”As far as I could infer, this golden-ringed fruit of mine is a Spatial Law Treasure, a heavenly resource thatʼs capable of bestowing its user with my comprehension perpetually as long as they remain close enough. It also gives control over my realms, and because of that, unless the user dies, another golden-ringed fruit wonʼt be born. It could be said to be a drawback, but the true drawback is…”

Stella paused as she held her tongue.

”… is?” Davis frowned.

”Is… there are no drawbacks.” Stella looked smug.

”Really?” Davisʼs eyes went wide, and Stella nodded with a sweet smile.

The others were also quite confounded. For a heavenly resource such as this to have no drawbacks while the source was still alive and well was a miracle. They guessed it had to do with the lifeform that is the Void Dust Tree. After all, it was said to be a spatial tree that required a lot of sustenance and protection. Hence, needed someone like a gardener who would nourish and take care of it.

Perhaps it was the Void Dust Treeʼs way of attracting a gardener.

This made them wonder if Saintess Lunaria and Wix Voidfield also shared such a relationship.

”No drawbacks are good.” Davis nodded. His heart felt much more at ease since he was worried that he might affect Stellaʼs future.

He wondered if she became a Divergent because of this matter but couldnʼt tell since the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill would still hide Divergent aura. However, this wouldnʼt be a drawback from herself, but it would be a drawback from him.

”Do you feel any strange changes in your body?”

Stella shook her head, ”Other than becoming an Empyrean Void Dust Tree, I donʼt feel anything strange. Everything is normal, and Iʼm brimming with power.”

She rose up and stretched her arms.

”Thatʼs great.”

Davis turned to look at the others, and they all nodded with smiles.

It seemed like it was time for them to return to the Second Void Dust Sanctuary. Only Tina and the pill fairies needed to remain, so Davis informed Illumina to guard them.

Illumina complied as always. It was like she would never say no, making Davis feel heartened and guilty at the same time. He felt like he was using her too much, but from her perspective, she might have felt that she had yet to repay him for the benevolence he had shown her when she had nothing and was imprisoned.

”Ah, thatʼs right. Donʼt hesitate to use my spatial shifting services from now on~”

Stella spread her hands, ”I can now teleport anywhere within my mini realms ninety times instead of nine per month. The range doesnʼt matter anymore as I feel like I could cover all forty-eight Lower Realms as long as I have my mini-realm there.”

”Woahh~”

Everyone was shocked but gratified. Stella truly did deserve the first bestowal and a full Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill. She was giving them surprise after another, making them all feel that they had not missed anything by enriching her.

But suddenly, Stella went silent as the joy in her expression receded.

”But… I learned that an Empyrean Void Dust Tree has three cycles to complete. I assume I will need resources that belong to the next stage in order for me to even complete one cycle, so…”

”Haha!” Davis couldnʼt help but laugh, ”Isnʼt that great? Instead of nine cycles, there are only three. I think that lessens the workload greatly.”

”Really?” Stella blinked.

Did they not understand what she said?

It didnʼt matter if it was three or nine. Her new three cycles needed more energy than the previous nine cycles.

She felt even an Empyrean Void Dust Tree needed a ridiculous amount of resources at the next grade to complete all three cycles, so what of her who is enriched by the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill? She feared that the resources required for her growth would be even more ridiculous. It was not for the faint of heart.

”Of course.” Davis spoke as a matter of fact with a confident expression, ”Stella, donʼt you ever worry. No matter how many resources it takes, I will make sure you reach the next stage. Ultimately, weʼre enjoying a safe zone and can travel realms without being found out because of you. You need to realize how important you are to us, even if not for me. You create a place for our family, a sanctuary. Donʼt ever think weʼre burdened because of it. Isnʼt that right, all?”

”Yes!~”

Evelynn and the others echoed, causing Stellaʼs bottom lip to stretch out as she looked like she was going to cry.

”Waaah~ I love you so mush~”

Stella didnʼt stop her tears and jumped into Davisʼs embrace.

Outside, the massive thirty-thousand-meter-tall tree also trembled.

Davis consoled Stella as he placed a lot of kisses on her forehead. He knew she loved to be held and cuddled.

”By the way, can you create a Minor Realm?” Ellia curiously asked after Stella calmed down.

Everyoneʼs gaze brightened when they heard that.
