Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4209  Plans To Conquer

Davis retired for the day as he spent his time checking his new spatial powers and was more than satisfied.

The next day, he was called to a meeting in the hall.

The next course of action was going to be decided— whether to hole up and spend the remaining years until the Covenant ends to make a move and conquer the Verdant Vale Lower Realmʼs Realm Core or make a move in the next few years to conquer the Verdant Vale Lower Realmʼs Realm Core.

They got the taste of a Realm Core, so Davis was willing to take a risk to conquer the second Realm Core as well.

Did they have enough forces to conquer the land?

Mingzhi argued they did indeed have enough forces.

Their current available forces, who were Empyreans, consisted of Lereza, Calypsea, Vereina, the twelve Darkness Bandit Beasts except Illumina, and finally, the three beasts that they picked up from the Eternal Twilight Lower Realmʼs Great Desolate Plains.

They were none other than the Radiant Metaldaze Desert Ant Queen, Hundred Emerald Spike Sandworm, and the Flamerogue Poison Scorpion. They packed a powerful bite.

Particularly, the Radiant Metaldaze Desert Ant Queen seemed to have raised over a hundred Empyrean Stage Radiant Metaldaze Desert Ant Warriors and twelve Empyrean Stage Radiant Metaldaze Desert Ant Royal Guards. The Ant Warriors didnʼt seem to have higher battle prowess, but the Ant Royal Guards were capable of battling one level higher. As for the queen, she was presumably capable of battling five levels higher.

The same could be said about the Hundred Emerald Spike Sandworm and the Flamerogue Poison Scorpion.

Tina was in control of the Metaldaze Ant Queen, Captain Praezen was in control of the Hundred Emerald Spike Sandworm, and Captain Lightsky was in control of the Flamerogue Poison Scorpion.

With her immense soul, Tina was able to control the Metaldaze Ant Queen with ease. However, never bothered to suppress her either, so the queen was able to grow freely somewhere within the void dust lands, kept within their territory as they listened to the queen to stay put.

It was the same case for the sandworm swarm, although they didnʼt seem to be capable of growing as fast as the Radiant Metaldaze Desert Ants.

However, there was one important point. All three of these magical beasts have gone through evolution and become something more. If Everlight helped them become King-Tier, then their capacity to cause destruction would increase immensely.

Last but not the least—

”The Reaper Soul Legion,” Mingzhi uttered with a firm voice, ”Itʼs time they displayed their radiant loyalty towards you, and they do hope to die and earn your recognition, so itʼs also time you gave them a chance instead of just using them for realm defenses.”

”…” Davis frowned, ”Theyʼre not Empyreans.”

”Close. Theyʼre either Level Nine Immortal Emperor or near to becoming one. In a few months, they will also consolidate their cultivations in the Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage and collectively become Empyreans. Then, with their combined might and battle formations, they will be absolute beasts. Iʼm thinking of starting the siege and conquering the Verdant Vale Lower Realm within six months or a year. What do you think?”

”…” Davis was silent.

His thing with Yotan was still unresolved, and he couldnʼt just send her there, but as a Legion Commander, she needed to fulfill her duties.

”With the additional time Iʼm giving them, they wonʼt get slaughtered at the get-go, thatʼs for sure,” Mingzhi added.

Davis pursed his lips, ”Fine, but I will secretly order someone to protect Yotan. You wouldnʼt interfere with it, right?”

”Why would I? Sheʼs already our sister. She will have special privileges, but since sheʼs too dumb to accept them, we will try to keep them a secret.”

”…” Yotan stared at them with a gaping mouth.

As the Legion Commander, she normally took part in their meetings, but seeing them treat her like she was non-existent and badmouth her was a new feeling. Her eyes were truly opened to the shamelessness of this family or just these two. However, she couldnʼt help but feel immense warmth welling up within her heart.

She found it difficult to hide a smile and cupped her hands to hide it before opening her mouth, ”No need. This ungrateful one will do her best to satisfy the wishes of the Legion Master. My Reaper Soul Legion will be ready to bring glory to the Davis Family.”

”One of these days, Iʼm going to just pin her down, I swear…”

Davis looked away and commented.

Yotan went red before she bowed, ”Please excuse me. I remembered that I have something to do.”

She then hurriedly left the meeting, causing everyone to look at Davis.

”Why are you bullying her?” Shirley raised her brows.

”Poor Yotan.” Bylai pouted.

”Sheʼs just trying her best to make herself worthy of you.” Isabella wryly laughed.

”Yes, I can understand her emotion very well.” Lea commented as she rubbed her swollen stomach, ”This rogue leaves us in the dust every time and makes us feel bad. We are all cultivators, so it wouldnʼt do for us to lag behind or not contribute enough. We will lose face.”

ʼSince when did we start caring about face…!?ʼ Davis inwardly shouted.

However, he had to admit that a Sect Master like Lea would at least care about his face. But on the other hand, he felt Yotan was too formal.

Just what was stopping her from getting together with him even though they both knew they wanted each other? It was vexing for him, but he also respected Yotan for taking her time, not to mention he was busy himself.

The others all agreed with Lea and chided him for not being patient with a maidenʼs heart.

They told him just like how a beast doesnʼt care about love during the initial stages, a complicated woman like Yotan would rather die than become dead weight. It made Davis speechless as he couldnʼt refute it.

From his perspective, Yotan was flawless, but she was also rigid. She was the type of woman who would stick to one thing even if it hurt her in the long run, like staying in an abusive relationship just because she decided on it and would see it through to the end, risking her entire life to make it right.

”Darling, what about the matter I previously spoke to you?”

Finally, Natalya saved him from being chastised as she asked about leaving for the Frozen Wasteland Lower Realm.

”What about saving the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan?” Evelynn asked with a soft voice.

”I really want to head to the secret realm in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm. Canʼt let Zenova beat me while I am just sitting here and cultivating in closed doors.” Isabella raised her brows with battle intent seeping out of her eyes.

”Same,” Shirley smirked.

Evelynnʼs gaze also flickered, but she shook her head, feeling the need to stick to her end of the deal and help Hexena Xylusc protect the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan.

As for the children, they were growing up and mostly playing with their elder siblings, and Shea agreed to take care of them all, so it could be said that they already had people to watch over them.

”Do we still need to explore the Nether Dimension?” Nyoran lightly raised her hand, unsure if she should speak here.

”…”

Davis sat leaning to the front and thought heavily, appearing all serious as he considered all untoward possibilities he could.
