Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4211  Assigning Missions

”Well, changes can be made depending on how the secret realm unfolds. If it is too dangerous, I wonʼt send any of you.”

Davis suddenly uttered the piece he had been holding back, causing the atmosphere to turn silent.

”For the next objective, Natalya wants to go to the Frozen Wasteland Lower Realm. You all know I wouldnʼt let her go alone, so Iʼm going to assign Illumina to accompany her once Tina becomes an Empyrean and can defend herself. Until then, you need to wait, Natalya.”

”Not a problem~” Natalya uttered casually, ”Besides, I also spoke to a few people who could make some progress if they came with me. Tanya and Pia agreed to come with me, and if we wait long enough, even Iesha will accompany me since she has to take care of her daughter Xiesha. Right now, I am sending a letter to Bing Luli, wondering if she will accompany me. Sheʼs been secluded all year long, so it is hard to get hold of her.”

”…”

Davis blinked. He felt like it had been a long time since he heard her name. Besides, the members of the Mystic Ice Sect only dealt with Myria, so he didnʼt have the chance to see them. As for the other members of the Mystic Ice Sect, like Mu Bing and the three Ancestors, they had gone to the Aurora Cloud Gate to do missions, so when the forced ascension happened, they were not with them.

Thatʼs why Bing Luli, the Sect Master of the Mystic Ice Sect, was fully devoted to becoming powerful as soon as possible. However, he wondered if Bing Luli was alright after he spoke some insensitive words to her.

Nonetheless, he continued, ”Well done, Natalya. Tanya, I leave Natalya in your care.”

”Of course. Leave it to me.” Tanya smiled lightly.

She was glad that Davis acknowledged her powers enough not to worry about her. However, considering she would reach Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage by the time they left but, most importantly, already inheriting the Frostcloud Sword Empressʼs new Frigid Veil Sword Style, she guessed it was a given.

She remained seated like a dignified statue, giving off a cold yet sharp aura. It was like there was no blindspot around her.

Davis nodded and turned to look at his first wife.

”Evelynn, Iʼm not sure what the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan has in store for you. Iʼm afraid that they might already have something in place to control you, the inheritor that their Empress readied, so I donʼt want you to go there without me.”

”…” Evelynn pursed her lips as she looked down.

It wasnʼt like she didnʼt consider this as most magical beast powers would have some kind of Legacy Artifact that controls and oppresses bloodline. However, would it work on an Emperor-Tier bloodline?

She didnʼt think so, but Davis imagined that there could be one.

Her purple eyes flickered with determination as she returned her gaze to Davis, ”So what if they could control me? I donʼt think they imagined that I would have dragon blood and soul within me. They wouldnʼt be able to control me if I unleashed it.”

”…” Davis paused before he smiled, ”Fair enough. The truth is… I just wanted you all to myself.”

”You-”

Evelynn was speechless, her cheeks blushing.

”Ooo~” Natalya and the others teased her as they made sounds, causing her to blush hard like an apple- no, a tomato.

”…”

Davis was taken aback. He didnʼt think his Evelynn would blush too hard these days, making him daydream, almost at the edge of delaying whatever plans he had in exchange for carrying her to the bed.

Nonetheless, he acted calmly, ”In any case, someone powerful will accompany you when itʼs time. Until then, be a good wife and take care of the children. I will also be accompanying our children for the next seven days before I enter seclusion.”

”Ahh~” Shirley raised her hand, looking violent, ”No, you donʼt. I waited for you enough. If you donʼt come for me, I will come for your head.”

”Haha.” Davis laughed at that sentence, ”Sure, sure. Come for my head. I will be waiting with a lot of Duality Harmony-Anarchy Vine Essence.”

”…!”

Everyoneʼs heart skipped a beat as they recalled what kind of resource it was.

Ellia shuddered, remembering the week she spent with Davis. She instantly closed her legs, feeling that sensation of dual cultivating while using the vine essence all over again.

It was heavenly.

On the other hand, some didnʼt know what it was, but looking at the reactions of the others, they felt shy.

”Now, now, donʼt be in a hurry. Iʼm not going anywhere since Iʼm trapped here, but we need to do some marriages, remember? I havenʼt forgotten my promise to Shea and the others.”

”…” Shea lowered her head, her expression full of eagerness.

She was no longer opposed to having a marriage publicly after all that courtship in the school.

”Yes,” Mingzhi responded, ”The timing is also good as long as our peace isnʼt interrupted. Iʼll make arrangements for you to marry Shea next month. How do you two feel about that?”

”I agree.” Davis quickly said.

”I… agree…”

”Woooa~”

Sheaʼs voice was as small as a mosquitoʼs buzzing, but it invoked various echoes as they all teased her.

Davis smirked, ”Good. We will also move up Lea and Ieshaʼs marriages since they got pregnant. If there is any objection, feel free to voice them now.”

”…”

Evelynn and the others looked at each other before she answered for them.

”Thereʼs no objection.”

”Are you sure, Ellia?” Lea couldnʼt help but ask.

”Well,” Ellia smiled sweetly, ”I was next after Shea, but I donʼt mind sister Lea and sweet Iesha getting married first. You both deserve this honor.”

”Then itʼs decided.” Mingzhi nodded.

Suddenly, she raised her brows, ”Would you invite that Heavenʼs Warrior to Sheaʼs marriage? Weʼre going to be inviting the people since weʼre going to do it in the city where we can host a lot of fanfare.”

”Oh? Let me think about it.” Davis looked at the ceiling and appeared amused.

He thought it would be fun to witness Fairy Runaliseʼs expression to see people enjoying with him, but he couldnʼt care less since it was Sheaʼs day. His eyes need to only be on Shea.

However, Fairy Runalise claimed that she would return to investigate his mini-realm, so he guessed their dates might coincide.

Either way, he felt leaving it to fate would be the best for Fairy Runalise, but he also felt the need to manipulate what she saw and what she heard to bring her away from the heavens.

”As for the Nether Dimension,” He continued where he left off as he turned to look at Nyoran, ”Wait until Nadia is ready since she has little Styx, Ragna, and Noctis to take care of. Vereina will also accompany you and maybe Illumina if sheʼs done with guarding until Tina becomes an Empyrean and Natalyaʼs Frozen Wasteland Expedition finishes.”

”Understood~” Nyoran responded with a bright smile.

She was starting to like lazying around here since there were all kinds of food she could eat and become powerful. This was a paradise, so she didnʼt want to venture into the Nether Dimension so quickly.

”Ah, the feast is here~ Letʼs enjoy it.”

Soon, Fiora noticed Esvele and Illumina clones bringing a lot of dishes to their chamber.

They dug in and spent a lot of time chatting and having fun. The children also joined.

After the feast was over, Davis dragged Mira away to make her evolve. Isabella also followed them.
