Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3395 Fioraʼs Worry

Davis left his soul body here to monitor the situation before he explored the mini-realm, making sure that there were no inhabitants since he decided to sacrifice it to the Voidslime Realm Eater.

The twelve cultivators were all near the Voidslime Realm Eater, having been completely enamored by its predatory gaze, so there was nothing to worry about.

He did find a few treasures, but they were all Immortal Grade, so he didnʼt cast a second glance at it.

There was not a single Immortal King Grade ingredient to be found, and considering the heaven and earth energy here was abysmal, he could understand why.

Clearly, this mini-realm was abandoned for a reason. It was desolate.

After scouring the entire mini-realm that extended no more than four thousand kilometers wide on all sides, he confirmed that no living beings were left. The size of the mini realm was constantly at a rate of reduction due to being consumed by the Voidslime Realm Eater, and he stood at the edges, trying to comprehend the changes in space.

It was very helpful to gain insights.

Soon, he returned because he saw Fiora but was unable to focus as she was repeatedly being ensnared by the Voidslime Realm Eater.

He disturbed her and picked her up into a princess carry and headed far away, appearing near the woods before he built a concealment formation while Fioraʼs gaze went red.

Davis arranged a picnic-like set up underneath a giant tree with shelter and made himself comfortable as he sat on the sheet and forced Fiora to be seated with him, which she awkwardly did as she had no idea if she was being punished for not being able to withstand the pull of the void or was going to be preyed upon which she inwardly rejoiced.

However, Davis brought out some delicacies and gave her something to eat.

”Relax, Fiora… I know youʼre strong-willed due to being tempered by Zephyaʼs annihilative heavenly winds, so tell me what it is that is bothering you.”

Fiora ate something called a burger, which Mingzhi had prepared when she came here. Just as she was relishing its taste, she got asked a question, causing her to turn awkward again.

”The other day, I think I offended Sophie as I made a joke in bad taste, but she seemed to understand and forgave me, probably...”

”I see. Iʼll talk to her.”

”No, it was my fault.” Fiora hurriedly shook her head, ”Please donʼt pursue that...”

Davis blinked, ”If you say so, but since youʼre all free with little to no dangers present, it might be a good time to make the rules of the harem clear, not that I want to interfere in it, although I understand forming groups within the harem is a natural occurrence. I am fine with groups as long as you donʼt exclude anyone, as I want you all to be friendly with each other.”

Fiora lightly nodded, and she told about how she felt lonely and was trying to make new friends, but no one matched her wavelength except Mingzhi and, perhaps, Yilla.

”Aha.” Davis couldnʼt help but chuckle, ”Mingzhi is a blessing for you. It is hard to find someone who could match your wavelength, but if they did, then you have to treasure them. On the other hand, Yilla is an unexplored gem, so you have to be careful with her lest you become hurt from having different expectations.”

”Yes~”

Fiora giggled as she agreed, smiling with a gentle expression.

She felt a bit clearheaded now.

”With that said, tell me what is truly bothering you...”

However, Davis flicked her forehead with his finger ever so lightly, causing Fiora to hold her forehead in astonishment. She went silent for ten whole seconds before she opened her mouth, her cheeks reddening.

”The truth is… I badly want your baby… especially after seeing even Nadia get pregnant with your child when it is supposed to be the most difficult for her… but Iʼm afraid that my elder sister will feel that I have betrayed her…”

”…” Davis raised his brows, ”Why would you think like that?”

”Iʼm sorry~” Fiora lowered her head, causing Davis to shake his head.

”No, I didnʼt mean it that way. You are my fifth wife, so it is only your right to demand a baby from me. However, why would you think Natalya would consider that a betrayal…?”

”I mean, it is only through my elder sister that I-”

”Yes.” Davis heavily nodded at Fioraʼs tearful expression, ”It is only through her grace that you came to me. You had feelings for me. However, it is Natalya who wished this life upon you, allowing you to come to our side. She believed that I could take care of you better than any man and entrusted you to me, so why would you think she wouldnʼt wish for you to get pregnant first?”

”She… would she not be mad…?”

Fioraʼs lips quivered as she looked at him with a gaze full of hope.

”No way. In fact, Natalya has been asking me to get you pregnant rather than herself when we last slept.”

”…”

Hearing Davisʼs voice, Fiora bit her lips, tears streaming down her face.

She suddenly felt like all the burden and guilt she felt had suddenly been lifted.

”I… Iʼm pregnant…”

”…!”

Davisʼs eyes went wide. He stared at her in disbelief before he recalled that wonderful day when his wives were rabidly going after him one by one before he finally caught Fiora and pounded her in the hallway before he brought her to bed and had a wonderful night with her.

He asked if it was that day, causing Fiora to stream tears of joy as she nodded.

”Ahahaaha!~”

Davis began to laugh boisterously.

To think that Fiora was afraid of having been seen as an ungrateful little sister and, hence, hid her pregnancy from everyone. He imagined that her constant worry that didnʼt let her focus was also because of the hormonal changes from her pregnancy.

He turned around and grabbed her hands, and locked her fingers.

”You canʼt imagine how happy everyone would feel, especially Natalya.”

”Really…?”

”She would be dancing with joy. Of course, they would all feel jealous just like you did for the others, but it doesnʼt change the fact that it is a joyous occasion. I love you, Fiora, so bring our baby into this world like Isabella and the others.”

He leaned and kissed her soft lips, causing Fiora to feel free of guilt.

She had always declared that she wouldnʼt get pregnant before Natalya, so when she did on the morning after he left, she was shocked. She was joyous but also afraid as she didnʼt want to incur anyoneʼs wrath, especially not her elder sisterʼs.

She didnʼt know what to do, and this matter always weighed on her mind. Only Zephya knew, but she had no experience in these matters and couldnʼt provide any advice for her.

Left alone, she felt like she was having a heart demon for being so devious, which left her wondering if she should hide somewhere or do something even worse. Her pregnancy hormones didnʼt make it any easier to consider matters thoroughly either, making her thoughts go all over the place.

”My Emperor~”

Fiora voiced out with deep emotion as she felt rescued.

Holding her two frail hands, Davis pushed her down and sunk between her head and shoulder, licking her fair and soft neck, causing Fioraʼs breathing to turn harder. It went on for a while before he left a lot of hickies on her neck as though marking her that he was his before he undressed her wonderful green dress and had his way with her underneath the tree.

He couldnʼt believe his Fiora, the dainty woman he loved for her playfulness, was having his baby.

If he excluded Nadia, she was the first Anarchic Divergent to have his baby.
