Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3394 Voidslime Realm Eaterʼs Properties

The Voidslime Realm Eater certainly didnʼt reach out to attack him, so it wasnʼt a problem for him to stay closer. The only danger was its predatory runes, which he did watch, but he was practically invulnerable to it.

He had already deciphered a bit of it and came to know of the destructive nature of space inside its body.

If Lea could have its core, he knew it would be very beneficial for her as this Calypsea was also a flame that had the properties of spatial destruction and karma. Once Lea made use of its core, he guessed that she could stand equal to Calypsea as their powers would finally be in sync, giving birth to a terrifying prowess.

However, the core was useful for many things.

It was a natural heavenly resource, so he knew he must weigh all options before deciding whom to give to or use it for himself. He weighed on the latter since he also wanted to be skillful in Space Laws since it would become his primary choice to traverse the true immortal world.

ʼHmm… perhaps I could allow it to devour this mini realm and cross into the Late Immortal Emperor Stage… After all, this is an abandoned mini realm, and I can dilute the core to gain more advantages…ʼ

Davis imagined that if he allowed the Voidslime Realm Eater to grow to Late Stage Immortal Emperor and took its core and cut or even dilute it, he might have two or three Mid-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Cores, which was far better than killing it now and having one Mid-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Core.

Or he could have one High-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Core for others or for himself.

ʼIt all depends on who gains the most to ensure our survival…ʼ

He walked back to Stella and asked if they could allow the Voidslime Realm Eater to grow further.

”…”

Stella clearly looked worried, not knowing if she could take it down at that point.

Davis also shrugged, not knowing if he could take it down without damaging its carcass or core.

Both of its body parts were important to each other, so they thought about it a lot.

Half a day later, Stella came back to meet him.

”Thereʼs still three or four days for the mini realm to be completely devoured. If I can make it to Level Five Immortal Emperor Stage before that time, I could probably take it down even if it entered the Late Immortal Emperor Stage, so… I agree. ”

”Very good. I will also support you. I owe you one, Stella.”

Davis smiled, knowing that Stella was going to hasten her cultivation using some method that she only knew was probably reserved for emergencies because it might more or less affect her future.

Stella also cracked a smile at him owing her, but she still looked worried.

”Its ability to flee is too strong, so we might need to use Calypsea to lock it down once it drops out of the mini realm after it devours it completely…”

”Understood.”

Davis nodded confidently.

He had a Mid-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Space Essence Orb on him right now. He wouldʼve given it to Stella if it could help her, but it couldnʼt, considering she was absorbing a High-Level Immortal Emperor Grade one. However, it could be used as bait to trap the Voidslime Realm Eater, so he wasnʼt that worried.

Instead, he gave her a Mid-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Spatial Resource that he kept for himself, waiting to make a pill out of it with a suitable recipe. He could take it raw, but it would take too long to digest and had side effects to worry about, but for a tree like Stella, it would only take a day or two.

”Thanks!~ You will always be my human~”

Stella excitedly uttered and blinked away to the exit.

After all, feeding her true body, which was a tree, was better than eating it with her fleshly spirit body, which was conjured from her true body. Even though her fleshly spirit body had a powerful karmic connection with her true body, the true body was more efficient in digesting resources.

”Iʼll come find you when itʼs time.”

Davis waved her goodbye as he smiled at her strange connotation to him. He intended to send his soul body to pick her up.

Turning around, he saw all was going well.

He ventured into his soul sea and saw Nadiaʼs primal yin essence.

He had yet to refine it completely, not because he stayed off but because it slowly integrated into his soul of its own volition. He wasnʼt powerful enough to force-refine it but could sense that it might lead to a boon sooner or later, although he already considered it a boon since his Death Laws had reached the peak of Level Three Abstruse Intent, the max that a Greater Law could reach in the Immortal King Stage.

He even wondered if further refinement would allow him to step into the next level of comprehension intent, but he feared that it might invoke a punitive tribulation like when he forcefully broke through a comprehension level suppressed by stages and invited a punitive tribulation.

However, the punitive tribulation itself wasnʼt what was fearful. It was the fact that he could be thrown out of this universe if he invoked an annihilative tribulation again.

The World Master didnʼt need to make a move. Funnily enough, the rune she etched on him will do the job and let him face his tribulation in the true immortal world.

He was thinking of stopping the refinement of Nadiaʼs primal yin essence but didnʼt, considering it was already slow enough. It was integrating at a slow enough rate that it felt like it lacked something, making him think about Everlight.

ʼIs my soul essence actually waiting for a similar kind of life essence to fuse faster…?ʼ

In theory, his soul was a reincarnation-attributed soul, so it couldnʼt absorb such a top-quality essence of death alone, but the fact that it was doing so meant it was searching for the right balance to absorb all at once.

Davis felt like he needed to go marry Everlight soon and sleep with her despite his adamance about not wanting her for benefits and whatnot.

Otherwise, this might even lead to something like soul constipation that might make him fall into a semi-state of coma, conscious but never to wake up, no matter how he tries. After all, a death essence was merging into him, one that could very well lead to his death as it screws with his soul essence in the wrong manner.

After all, what he absorbed was a death-attributed primal yin essence from a magical beast and not a human. Its energy was massive and potent!

If he didnʼt know any better, it was a primal yin essence from the descendant of a Paragon Beast that went extinct because of its potent death energy that sought a threat to the balance of the universe!
