Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3386 Making A Scene

”Bluelotus, you can make contact with Jade. As for whether to bring our targets back safely or not, weʼll leave that to your discretion.”

”Ehhhh~”

Receiving the message from Mingzhi, Natalya reeled back with a difficult expression on her face. The decision was left to her, who hardly knew the situation that Tia was hoping to avoid...?

She couldnʼt understand.

Nonetheless, pouring soul force into the messaging talisman, she responded.

”Understood. Making contact with Nicejade.”

”Nicejade…?”

Mingzhiʼs lips twitched on the other side. Is that how Natalya perceived Valley Master Jade Aurora? In that case, was Ivy Aries, Poisonivy since she could devour the heck out of anyone with her unique physique?

She shook her head with a wry smile, ”Thatʼs all. Let us know once you are available.”

”Got it. Bluelotus out~”

Natalya licked her lips and kept the messaging talisman inside her spatial ring. The black robe she wore was quite good as it concealed her undulations, which also made people unable to recognize she was a soul body.

Even if soul experts found her, they wouldnʼt be able to easily tell that she was a soul body. After all, her soul force was practically endless, with the main body continuously sending her soul force through Tiaʼs karmic technique while also having taken a pill that regenerates soul force faster while also— slumbering, which improved the rate of regeneration for soul force by many times, not to mention there was also Iesha who could share soul force with her!

As long as she wasnʼt using powerful techniques or receiving heavy injuries continuously, this soul body of hers would never cease to exist!

ʼThis technique is overpowered, but the main body is practically vulnerable…ʼ

Natalya instantly noticed the advantages and disadvantages when she first used the technique and still felt the same way. After all, she was in a safe place, and Tia was present to take care of any karmic attacks that might come her way, and Iesha was there to take care of any other attacks, not that she cared as this was a place that was only teeming with Immortal Kings at best.

Considering her prowess, she could take on the whole mini realm and exit like an empress.

However, she didnʼt because her mission was to find Jade Aurora and Ivy Aries and make sure they were safe while not interfering in their lives.

ʼNow it seems like I couldnʼt continue to remain the bystander…ʼ

Judging by how things were, if she didnʼt make contact and confirm the intricacies within, then there might be a considerable risk for their lives.

Natalya walked into the street and panned her gaze.

There were not many people, but those who were present were all ready to draw their weapons and engage in a battle to rake victories or simply wealth.

This was a town that was reeling in a perpetual state of anticipation where the streets were neither bustling with activity nor eerily empty as you could find someone to mess with or be messed with. The subdued hum in the air reminded her of the old days when she was subjected to an illusion that made her feel like she was in danger all the time.

However, that was not the case with her currently, as she could see the people for who they were and the potential dangers they could reveal under the right or wrong circumstances but fail to actually be of harm to her.

Natalya couldnʼt help but smile as she knew if it was the old her, she would be running at the sight of this dangerous street, frantically searching for a path home. However, her heart remained indifferent to the dangers as she stepped into the Azure Radiance Slave Traderʼs Store.

She knew the Azure Radiance Slave Traders was a merchant power that made its wealth through procuring and selling slaves through legal means, as Davis bought Katherin Hilltail in one of their stores.

They didnʼt go after anyone. They merely bought and sold the spoils of war, those who faced defeat in battle and surrendered, those who were already in slavery, and even, surprisingly, accepted those who wanted to sell themselves in search of a better opportunity than the one they had by themselves.

Natalya didnʼt find herself any stranger to this store as she was once caught and almost sold into slavery if it wasnʼt for Davis.

If she had been a normal woman, she would have felt traumatic, but there were no such negative emotions in her heart as she maintained a heart of icy coldness. It was like nothing could affect her except family.

She walked into the store with absolute confidence as though she was going to order plenty of slaves, and she did exactly that.

*Clack~*

Snapping her fingers, she demanded a representative and opened her mouth.

”I hear a new batch of women from the Jade Lotus Valley were procured. I donʼt want to waste time as I know theyʼre valuable and well sought out, so Iʼll buy them all for twice the price~”

Her tone was pompous and commanding, causing the representative to blink in shock.

Naturally, Natalyaʼs loud voice also garnered the attention of the customers present in the hall, especially the members of the Jade Lotus Valley who came here to buyback their fellow disciples.

They stared daggers at her, indicating for her to back off, but Natalya ignored them all completely.

”R-Respected patron, are you sure? It is indeed true that the goods we received this time around are valuable as a top disciple of the Jade Lotus Valley was also captured, so there is much competition, but no one offered twice the amount as theyʼre still duking it out with each other.”

The representative had black hair and a respectable appearance, but his expression didnʼt seem to be contained as he was practically stopping himself from jumping with joy.

”Did you not hear me? You want me to repeat again…?”

Natalya didnʼt bother to cast her gaze at anyone, but right now, she turned to look at the representative as her gaze flashed with a cold light.

”…!”

The representative shuddered as he felt his limbs go limp. He was barely able to contain himself. Even though he couldnʼt feel any undulations, his gut feeling told him that this woman was someone who could certainly hold her own weight amidst the room.

”Y-Yes~”

He struggled to force out a voice and quickly went to make the preparations, but not before offering Natalya a private room.

The Azure Radiance Slave Traders were known for their hospitality and always respected their clients, even going as far as to call them patrons even if they were visiting for the first time since they had over ninety percent returning customer rate.

The slave business was just that profitable.

Nonetheless, Natalya declined the private room and told the representative to hurry up. She could not leave this hall or wouldnʼt be able to achieve what she wanted— and exactly after ten whole seconds, a dark green-robed beauty approached her.

”Excuse me for the interruption. I know buying and selling those who have surrendered is fair game at the moment, but is there any chance you could simply let us take back our disciples? Of course, Iʼm willing to pay ten percent more than what you paid, allowing you to make instant profit out of our unfortunate plight.”

A melodious voice, full of eloquence, echoed from the side. She could imagine the noble upbringing of that figure, causing Natalya to know that it was none other than Valley Master Jade Aurora.

”…”

Natalya remained silent though.

It garnered the ill-will of the Jade Lotus Valleyʼs disciples who accompanied Jade Aurora, but the latter raised her hand, stopping the others from speaking.

”Twenty-five percent more than what you offered. I can engage in a battle of wealth with you or the others like it is an auction, but that would simply waste your profits if that is what youʼre looking for.”

”…”

Jade Aurora uttered with all seriousness, but Natalya continued to remain silent.

Sighing lightly, Jade Aurora turned to look around and opened her mouth.

”Iʼll pay two and a half times the price to retrieve my fellow sisters as freed beings!”

Instantly, that representative came running back, his hands rubbing against each other before his chest as he smiled at Jade Aurora.

”The price isnʼt finalized, so of course, we will take more bids.”

”Three times the price~”

Jade Aurora had just nodded when the black-robed woman finally spoke, and it was to outbid her, causing her to clench her fists.
