Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3384 Dark Trio?

”Sophie! Youʼre a genius!”

Fiora jumped and hugged Sophie as she appeared to be incredibly happy.

She knew that with this Mid-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Bow and three Low-Level Immortal Emperor Grade Arrows with annihilative heavenly wind, she knew she could theoretically hold against Mid Stage Immortal Emperors for three seconds.

That was a feat that even Immortal King Stage heavenly geniuses could be proud of.

”Itʼs your own strength as you can manage to draw this monster bow I made, not knowing if you would manage to pull it.”

”I also had my doubts, but my body is strong from all the tempering Iʼve endured from Zephyaʼs training, and pouring in the annihilative heavenly wind seemed to work well as it lightened the bowstring by a large margin…”

Fiora hugged again with all her heart and looked delighted and satisfied.

She was able to use a sword and a spear. She had also trained in the bow but dropped it at some point due to the incapacities of a bow during a close-combat fight. She was swift, so a sword or a spear suited her better, but now that she was going to be an Immortal Emperor soon, she knew attacks could be thrown from thousands of kilometers, so she requested Sophie to make her a bow while she practiced with an ordinary bow.

She had her passion for the bow reignited, all because she had a forgemaster whom she could rely on!

Indeed. Everyone started relying on Sophie since she made custom armaments for them, so she had much influence in the harem, only below Isabella and Shirley. Even though Fiora was the big sister as she was the fifth wife, Sophie, who was the seventh wife, held more sway.

Fiora was certainly happy that Sophie could understand her as she wasnʼt aversed to making more friends. She even talked with the newcomers a lot, having become friends with Yilla as she seemed to be able to handle her jokes well.

Sophie patted Fiora like she was the elder sister and smiled at her.

”You know… if youʼre feeling lonely… shall I put in a word to husband to spend some nights with you…? Wait… Iʼm not bragging or making fun of you. I mean, you should have a child already, like I have Aurelia. Really— itʼll give you more satisfaction than you think.”

Sophie smiled brightly once she mentioned her child, ”Sheʼs the reason I want to make sure everything goes right between us. I want us all to grow together and never leave each other.”

”Sophie…” Fiora pursed her lips, appearing moved, but she shook her head.

”Thanks… Iʼll do everything in my power not to act stupid anymore, but I wouldnʼt like it if I got pregnant before my elder sister did.”

Her gaze flashed, ”The sole reason I am here is because of my elder sister. Donʼt tell her, though…”

”Hehe~” Sophie giggled, ”Youʼre soft in the weirdest places but harsh on others. Nonetheless, donʼt lose your fun personality over what I said~ It might just be Iʼm turning into a mother who is overly serious with harem politics. Everyone has a circle they belong to, like me and Niera, you and Mingzhi, and so-”

”I understand, Sophie. Iʼm not that blind.”

Fiora nodded with a smile, ”The big three is the first circle, while my elder sister never joins a circle and stays with Iesha. There are many other circles within. The new circle of Shea, Panqa, and Lanqua looks good, as theyʼre not making things harder. You donʼt need to worry about any of them. However, Yilla…”

”What about her…?”

Sophie narrowed her eyes. She was busy with forging and Aurelia, so she really didnʼt have time to care about the harem politics and could only stay away from it.

Thatʼs why she also wasnʼt comfortable with Fioraʼs joke earlier.

”Sheʼs one heck of a chick! Gosh, her dance moves are freaking fabulous that they even seduced me and Mingzhi, so Davis is an easy target for her…!”

”…”

Fiora looked livid, ”Weʼre doing everything in our power to learn dance from our, but our Charm Laws arenʼt just up to par… At this rate, she might steal his time from us…!”

”…”

Sophie remained speechless, now knowing what to say. She was stuck with forging and caring for Aurelia and didnʼt know when she would see Davis again as she felt like it might be years before she could take his time due to the responsibilities they both had, but these sisters of hers… were having, fun and complaining about it…?

”This dance lesson… think I can get in…?”

However, the wildest words emerged from her mouth, causing Sophieʼs lips to twitch. She felt like she was caught lacking as she saw Fioraʼs lips curl into a wicked smile.

=========

Two women were walking out of the woods.

They were both black-robed, but one of them was a magical beast, and the other was human. They were walking on one of the many islands of the Aurora Cloud Gate, but this island belonged to the Phantasm Verge Alliance and belonged to several top disciples who were wives and allies of the Divine Emperor of Death.

”I hear you. Unfortunately, he isnʼt here, and he also left our new Province earlier today.”

Mingzhi turned to look at a beautiful woman with skin as pale as snow.

ƈοm

She was none other than Nyoran.
”I see. I was hoping that I could see him and thank him personally for all the things he has done in the Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm before I secluded myself after finishing all the liable duties I had back in my Ghostly Crow Clan. However, it seems like I took too long to go meet him.”

Nyoran nodded with a wry smile on her beautiful face. The clothes she wore had a regal appeal to them, but her aura— her King-Tier aura was filled with an otherworldly variance, which made Mingzhi look at her in an approving light.

”Wanting to open up about your feelings is hard. I understand…”

Mingzhi appeared to offer her condolences, but Nyoran smiled and shook her head. ”Although I admire and respect your man greatly, I donʼt have such feelings for him yet.”

”Yet… she says…”

Suddenly, a black flash dashed out from Mingzhi.

It manifested mid-air into a sexy beauty whose obsidian hair flowed to her waist like a midnight river, with delicate strands caressing her shoulders like whispers from the night.

Her eyes, a mesmerizing shade of liquid gold, held the mysteries of darkness within their depths. Her skin, a glistening canvas of pale grey, possessed an ethereal quality akin to moonlight dancing upon the fairest of porcelain, an undead appearance that radiated an eerie yet captivating allure.

Nyoran narrowed her eyes at this spirit, wondering who this was, but she smirked.

”I trust him with my life as he is the type of man to uphold his words even at the expense of his life. Such a character-”

”No…” Mingzhi giggled as she interrupted, ”No way…”

Nyoran narrowed her eyes at Mingzhi, ”What do you mean? Are you insinuating that he doesnʼt uphold his words?”

”Yeah.” Mingzhi suppressed her laughter.

”I mean, heʼll uphold his words most of the time, alright, but that depends on your integrity too. If you were the slimiest snake out there, then even if he made a pact with you, he wouldnʼt honor it. You think highly of my Bandit Emperor, which is proof that you have feelings for him. Isnʼt that right, Iris?”

”You… are delusional.”

Iris Serenity, also known as Nightveil, the Dynastic Evernight Phantasm Spirit, neared Nyoran and looked into her eyes as she coldly uttered.

”…”

Nyoranʼs gaze shook.

Looking at her reaction, Mingzhi turned to look at Nightveil.

”On the other hand, Iʼll allow you to leech off my Malevolent Darkness Soul for a few more weeks as I bought some time for you, but are you sure you donʼt want to see him yet? Itʼs been so long since you came here, but youʼre adamant about not seeing him, Iris.”

”Not yet. I must become powerful and repay my debt to him.” Iris Serenity firmly shook her head.

”…”

Mingzhi wasnʼt amused. She didnʼt know why these women even bothered to put up pretenses and not just fall on his lap and be shameless like she did when obtaining him. She guessed that they lacked her determination or were too shy and shrugged.

Of course, she didnʼt like any more women joining the harem, so she wasnʼt going to ignite their hearts either.

But before she could say anything, something went off in her spatial ring.

”Codename Nighthawk, I found them. Should we make contact?”

Abruptly, Mingzhiʼs eyes shot wide as she heard the message transmission from Natalya.

”Nyoran. Iris. You two can play around here. I have a few things to do, so Iʼll take my leave.”

She bid them farewell and went away, appearing not to care if they were a security threat, which made their brows twitch as they turned to look at each other.
