Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3357 A Viable Method

”Itʼs fine for you two to point your swords at me, but Guardian Zera is quite…”

Davisʼs expression turned wry, and he saw Guardian Zera flare even more, causing him to flinch.

Quickly, Guardian Elysian took the sword away from Guardian Zera and comforted her by patting her shoulder, causing her narrowed eyes to turn relaxed. Only after heaving a sigh did he point his sword at Davis again.

”Speak before I accidentally behead you.”

Looking at the awkwardness on Guardian Elysianʼs face, Davis almost had the urge to laugh.

These two men might be playing and using him to convey how important this young woman was to her, but Guardian Zera really might stab him because of her physiqueʼs extremeness.

Who knows when she might flip? Besides, this person… was also a grandmother! His natural enemy who once caused him to die!

”F-Father… whatʼs going on? Who are these people?”

However, the white-robed woman seemed visibly shaken as she glanced at the two Guardians.

Davis cast a glance at this woman.

Back then, Davis hadnʼt seen her face and barely remembered her voice. If she hadnʼt acted like she recognized him and yelled out now, he wouldʼve never known that it was her.

In any case, this woman recognized him, so before she could spill out what had happened and make him be viewed in a hostile light, he felt it was better to open up about it himself. However, it seems like she was scared that these two were trying to kill him, the Emperor of Death who brought calamities, even causing a great clan like the Fire Phoenix Clan to fall.

Realizing this, Guardian Elysian brought his sword down and gestured at his son.

Patriarch Aizen Veritas inwardly grumbled but put on the brightest smile he could and brought away the terrified lady who thought the world was going to end with her father pointing a sword at the Emperor of Death.

It wasnʼt long before they left, leaving Davis with the two Guardians. He heaved a light sigh and cupped his hands.

”I am deeply apologetic for ruining your family reunion.”

”Itʼs fine.” Guardian Elysian shook his head, a sad light radiating in his dichromatic black-white eyes.

”She and us are from different worlds as she is not a Divergent. The more we keep ourselves from nearing her, the more safe she will be. Still, I didnʼt think you two wouldʼve already met.”

”Well, I thought she was one of the troublemakers who wanted me dead while she just happened to be just a curious young lady who was attracted by my vile charms, but-”

”Hmm!?”

”But fortunately!— Our conversation lasted like just five seconds before she left like the princess she is…”

Davis raised his hands again and smiled as though he was innocent, causing Guardian Elysian Veritas to nod thrice in satisfaction.

”Very well. Seeing that you are a good person who didnʼt bully my granddaughter, Iʼll agree to change one of your peopleʼs Malevolent Darkness Soul Physique.”

”Alright.”

Davis smiled with delight, but then, he suddenly doubted, ”What is the process like? Donʼt tell me one has to get naked for it.”

”Indeed. Thatʼs a part of it.”

”…” Davisʼs expression faded.

”But I wonʼt be the one doing it. Itʼs my wife, Zera. Sheʼs the one who changed my Malevolent Darkness Physique with her yin-yang energy. Therefore, your father is excluded from this treatment, as I wonʼt allow her to operate on men.”

”Of course.” Davisʼs expression turned brighter than a star, ”Who cares about that shithead? As long as itʼs a woman treating one of my women, itʼs fine.”

”Then we have a deal.”

Guardian Elysian reached out his hand with a satisfied smile, causing Davis to grab and shake his hand.

Davis stood up and cupped his hands.

”You have my gratitude for agreeing, but I have to ask my wivesʼ opinions as well. You can enjoy your time here with your granddaughter, but as soon as youʼre available, just send me a transmission.”

”Will do.”

”Many thanks for your benevolence, Guardian Zera Nullheart. Please make it safe as much as possible.”

Guardian Elysian Veritas nodded, causing Davis to also cup his hands towards the overpowered grandma.

Her Discordant Nexus Physique being a key to unlocking the variance in the Malevolent Darkness Soul was truly exciting to hear, broadening his horizons. It made him curious, but unfortunately, he couldnʼt learn anything as it was their familyʼs secret.

However, he wasnʼt lusting after their secrets.

The fact that they could help him without even confirming the terms only went to say how much faith they had in Saintess Lunariaʼs words.

He really didnʼt expect this to go this smoothly.

Nonetheless, as long as Guardian Zera Nullheart could help one of his women get over their Malevolent Darkness Soul Physique, he believed the rest would be just a matter of time as the one who received help might know a thing or two about how to mutate it.

”This is not my first or second time mutating the Malevolent Darkness Soul Physique, although it took me another resource to mutate my disciple Lavea Jennʼs Malevolent Darkness Soul Physique, which was researched by my husband, which allowed me to better understand what kind of changes I should bring about when using my energy. In other words, donʼt worry. Your woman is safe in my hands.”

”…”

Davis raised his brows.

He could understand if Guardian Zera Nullheart simply told him not to expect much since this treatment involved the soul, but she appeared to be extremely confident, leaving him speechless- no, in awe.

ʼAs expected… none of the Guardians are simple. They have a vast amount of knowledge in their skills and comprehension that might even put an Empyrean to shame if they were to ever break into the Empyrean Stage…ʼ

”I am in your debt.”

Davis firmly cupped his hands and bowed.

His humble actions caused the two Guardians to be rather appreciative as they nodded at him.

Davis then took his leave, not disturbing them anymore.

”Hey, wait!”

But at this moment, their granddaughter called him from the mansion while he was at the gates, but he escaped without looking back, not wanting to lose this chance because of something she might say to which he might respond cockily.

”Ah, so rude!~”

She shouted and stamped her feet, but she didnʼt seem to pursue, causing Davis to sigh in relief before he made it back to his island and summoned Evelynn, Sophie, and Mingzhi to the hall.
