Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3374 Immortal Emperor Spirit Tribulation

”…”

”Itʼs done! I have become an Immortal Emperor Spirit!”

Eldia roared at the skies in delight as her shimmering purple silhouette glowed crimson, and arcs of annihilative heavenly lightning danced around her. Her plump silhouette also seemed to have gone back to her slim and voluptuous figure.

In the skies above her, the tribulation was gradually receding as it failed to bring an end to Eldia.

”…”

Davis was still speechless as he couldnʼt help but think how much of a lackluster Eldiaʼs Immortal Emperor Tribulation was.

Of course, the overwhelmingly tyrannical aura of the heavens had been just as oppressive as it was for Nadia. However, the heavenly lightning strikes, and the heavenly yin tribulation is no more than four levels higher.

This meant that Eldiaʼs tribulation was only about eight levels higher, as third-tier karmic virtue reduced the tribulationʼs prowess by four levels.

Compared with other tribulations, Davis understood that the annihilative factor led to being two levels higher, peaking in all three cultivation systems rose the prowess by one level, and the karmic burden from him and mutating into this type of annihilative spirit made the tribulation stronger by five more levels.

In total, Eldiaʼs tribulation was eight levels higher in prowess, but due to the essence of third-tier karmic virtue, it became no different than a childʼs play to her.

Spirits were already loved by the heavens, so they didnʼt undergo a difficult tribulation compared to magical beasts and humans. So, on top of him bestowing Karmicgrace on her, she basically breezed through this tribulation like she was taking a stroll through the park.

However, Eldia didnʼt strike back a single heavenly lightning.

She shielded herself until all the strikes fell as the heavens wouldnʼt wait for the tribulation taker to take their time in destroying its strikes.

When the final strike, the lightning strike of a Paragon Magical Beast Dragon, fell, she finally unleashed her prowess and attacked, so the scattered essence of annihilative heavenly lightning was still present in the air.

They even gathered towards her as though deeply attracted but were certainly not willing to join as heavenʼs Will was still present at that time.

She didnʼt even take five seconds to breeze through the Annihilative Heavenly Yin Tribulation, which made it so the annihilative heavenly lightning strands were still intact.

And then, she began to absorb them, beginning to eat a lot of annihilative heavenly lightning again.

”Master, come here! This is also for you!”

She hurriedly called him out and placed aside a big chunk of annihilative heavenly lightning strands crackling within her web of lightning. She didnʼt allow them to disperse.

Davis saw that she gave seventy percent of the annihilative heavenly lightning to him. Feeling moved by her genuine actions that were without any ulterior motives, he appeared near her and grabbed a handful of annihilative heavenly lightning with his bare palms as life energy overflowed.

He then shoved the refined strand of annihilative heavenly lightning into Eldiaʼs mouth, causing her to blink.

”Eat… eat a lot and fatten up for me… Hehehe…”

Davis cackled with a wicked grin, causing Eldia to blink, making her feel as if she was going to be really eaten up by him like he would eat meat.

However, without making a fuss, she ate as much as he refined and fed her, but since she didnʼt eat it raw, she didnʼt become bigger like before and remained her youthful and slim self.

Davis spent another half a day helping Eldia digest these refined annihilative heavenly lightning strands, causing him to nod heavily in satisfaction as he knew Eldia had also become very powerful.

When it came to the comprehension and density of annihilative lightning, he knew she beat him by a large margin.

He also guessed that his Tempestuous Obliteration Firestorm Physique had plenty of room for improvement as he could raise the purity and the density of the three attributes within.

However, since the three types of annihilative attributes maintained an equilibrium, he would need all three resources at the same time in order to increase their purity or density. Or else, he knew the improvement would fail, although collapse would be rare unless he truly did something that introduced a profound change.

Nonetheless, Eldia also informed something interesting yet scary.

She told him that the Paragon Magical Beast Dragon… the dragon that came in the last heavenly lightning strike, had manifested itself within the Annihilative Heavenly Yin Tribulation, shocking Davis.

He asked Nadia if it was true, but she then said she was too anxious to notice as she moved to destroy it quickly.

ʼShit… this would mean I would face twelve annihilative heavenly yang strikes within my soul sea…?ʼ

Davisʼs brows twitched as he imagined.

Just one would be terrifying to face at his level if he didnʼt use Karmicgrace on himself, but if he did, it might alleviate the defenses. However, the uniqueness of the Paragon Magical Beasts, when they manifest as annihilative heavenly yang, might penetrate his lower body if he couldnʼt take them all out at once.

But this finally answered some of his doubts, like when Myria faced her Immortal Emperor Tribulation. She spoke that she had six Paragon Magical Beasts invade her tribulation, so she survived against six annihilative heavenly yin strikes.

ƈοm

How? Because the Heavenly Water Tribulation made it extremely easy for her to counter them.
It seems like he must also soon improve his karmic virtue and karmic sin to tier four or risk getting overwhelmed by twelve annihilative heavenly yang tribulation strikes that would appear in his soul sea all at once.

”Did the Paragon Magical Beast Dragon in its yin form unleash its suppressive aura?”

Davis continued to ask Eldia.

”Yes, master.” Eldia solemnly nodded as she stood in attention, ”I was delayed for a second because of that, but it was too weak to defend and died. Also, it didnʼt try to attack my womb like Nadia said it would. That was strange…”

She inclined her head and looked confused while Nadia reassured her that she didnʼt lie.

However, Davis felt like he knew the reason for this, as tribulations were different for every different race.

Since the spirits already had botched chances in terms of having a progeny, he felt like the heavens didnʼt want to bully them twice with the yin or yang attacks. However, he also felt like he was thinking too much, as spirits were energy lifeforms foremost, unlike fleshly lifeforms like magical beasts and humans.

Nonetheless, Davis took Nadia and Eldia into his soul sea and left the Divergent Peak, returning to his new unnamed city.
