Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3370 A New Province

”It happens… a being who lived for a million years gets bored and does things like these. However, this is truly scandalous for a Saint…”

Myria said with a faint snicker, ”No wonder he never bothered to ascend as everyone would believe he is a force for good as he has absolute power as a Peak-Level Immortal Emperor but doesnʼt abuse it and only gives people their choices in order to take advantage of them. He settles himself deep in the gray, not stepping toward the black or white, truly a special kind of scum who couldnʼt be dealt with in the name of justice.”

”Indeed.” Tanya agreed.

”Youʼre very right, Myria.” Isabella clenched her fist, ”As evil forces of the First Haven World, we must destroy this patch of gray that stains his true color.”

”…”

Patriarch Klavius Rocksunder stayed silent.

Such disrespectful and aggressive words would be punished, but what could he do against an Anarchic Divergent or the Empress his clan must protect?

Either way, he only saw that they were laughing and didnʼt take it seriously, not knowing that they were concocting a plan in secrecy to shake the Dragon-Phoenix Alliance sooner or later.

Soon enough, Davis and the others were dropped off at the Aurora Cloud Gate, and he waved goodbye to Myria and the others after talking with them a bit.

He asked Myria if she needed some help with concocting the pill she theorized, but she said for him to stay away and that she had two apprentices whom she was proud of and could rely on.

Obviously, that was Tina and Dalila.

With the two of them, Davis was also relaxed about the results, knowing that the pill would come to fruition. He trusted the three of them to succeed together.

The only problem was the theorized effects of the pill, but there was no use other than Myria using herself as the test subject.

Thatʼs how pill-tasting or pill-testing went for unique physique holders.

As for Isabella and Tanya, they said they would meet him in their new home later, while Mu Bing stated that she would go run missions for the Aurora Cloud Gate to support her cultivation by herself from here on out.

Since Myria didnʼt say anything, Davis also didnʼt say anything.

Even Myriaʼs share of the wealth was with him, so if she asked him to give a few billion High-Level Immortal Crystals to Mu Bing or anyone, he would gladly give, but since she didnʼt ask, he knew she had other plans for Mu Bing.

However, shortly after, Mu Bing and Tanya left together as the latter also wanted to run missions.

Seeing this, he also wanted to run some missions as he felt like he missed out on some sect fun.

Nonetheless, he knew he had another fun to pick on, which was the space-attributed lifeform that Stella wanted him to hunt.

Since that little yet overgrown tree hadnʼt reappeared yet, forcing him to go with her, he imagined that there was still time left to hunt it.

After bidding farewell to Isabella and the others, he left shortly for his small region of land that was severed from the Southwest Fire Phoenix Prefecture.

His land could be called a Province, just like Minn Familyʼs Province.

It spanned hundreds and thousands of square kilometers, but the city was just around five thousand kilometers on all sides, quite small for a city that belonged to a major power.

”I guess I could call this the Calamitous Province, but I guess that would seriously make the people believe Iʼm a Demon King of the myths or something and form a retaliatory party to subdue me…”

Davis laughed lightly and flew further to the core region before he saw his city, which was full of lights.

It was full of lights but… empty, and the outer ring of the city was still under construction but was faster as low-grade materials were being used despite having more space to be filled.

A Ghost City would be the apt term for it.

The construction team he assigned from the Reaper Soul Legion and also hired from the Aurora Cloud Gate appeared near him as there were still many things left to do, so he continued to order them around for half a day before night fell.

Stepping into his new mansion that was like a castle, he turned to look at the sight of the city, remembering the time he was a prince.

However, he was full of delight as this place was fully secured.

Most of the defenses were complete, fully loaded with High-Level Immortal Crystals.

The cityʼs main defensive formation was fueled by nine High-Level Immortal Crystal Vein Cores, practically impenetrable even by a Peak-Level Immortal Emperor who was three levels higher in prowess, so he could stop worrying about being besieged by Ancestors or even assassins of the sort, except karmic attacks of course but even that was about to be countered with a plan underway, directed by their Karmic Guardian Tia.

However, she vaguely seemed busy, so that was delayed for another week.

This cityʼs defenses were even more powerful than the island his wives owned, but the expenditure was also great, costing Davis a hundred billion High-Level Immortal Crystals to procure strong and durable materials as well as the materials for the defensive formations and offensive formations, although most of them came from the heavenly geniuses he hunted, including the blueprint of the formations as there were many formation experts!

Nonetheless, with everything set in place, he felt like he could finally relax and invite all his family over here if all of them wanted to come here, although he still felt Aurora Cloud Gate would be safer as the Guardians were there and currently active instead of secluding themselves since the Candidacy was near, and concurrently ascension.

Just as a new day was rising over the horizon, he felt his soul shudder as he felt a resonance.

He looked into the distance, knowing Nadia had summoned her heavenly tribulation in order to enter the Immortal Emperor Beast Stage!

Davisʼs smile blossomed into a wicked grin as he finally felt it was time for that sweet yet silent wolf to give herself up to him.
