Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3359 Invitation From The Dragon-Phoenix Alliance

After Mingzhi calmed down, they sat again and discussed some of the issues they had since they might be migrating to the newly established home in the region he conquered.

Their thoughts also made Davis realize more things he wouldnʼt usually see.

A few others also invited themselves into their discussion, seeing that their previous discussion was over.

They also made their wishes to accompany him known, making Davis feel heartened.

Of course, it wasnʼt like they were going to fully migrate there, but some of them would in order to keep him company or take care of the place. Besides, since it was nearer, it wouldnʼt even take an hour for them to traverse at their current speed.

So, there was no need for them to migrate and remain safe here.

However, they didnʼt want to leave him all alone there like he was a demon lord or something.

Davis only laughed at Mingzhiʼs comparison.

He assured them if he wanted them, he would naturally call them and wouldnʼt take no for an answer like an overlord, causing them to look at him with strange gazes that were filled with sensual escapades, heating the atmosphere a bit.

Suddenly, Isabella blinked and took out her messaging talisman.

She received a message before she turned to look at Davis.

”It seems the Dragon-Phoenix Alliance has sent a letter back to Myria stating that they wished to apologize for the inconvenience and that she could visit them anytime she requires.”

”Thatʼs great. Is that a transmission from the Earth Dragon Clan?”

”Yes, itʼs from Grand Elder Kirana Rocksunder.”

Davis nodded to Isabellaʼs answer.

He knew Grand Elder Kirana Rocksunder was the one who was posted to look after the demands of the Earth Dragon Empress, his third wife, Isabella.

”They also said that we could accompany Myria if I want.”

”Itʼs clear theyʼre using this chance to get into your good shoes, but weʼll take it.”

Davis nodded again, standing up.

However, he saw two women enter the mansion, which made his eyes light up with delight.

One of the two women whom he was going to see was none other than Myria, but the other woman was Mu Bing, whom he hadnʼt seen for a long time.

This made Davis wonder if Bing Luli entered seclusion but gestured for Myria and Mu Bing to come inside in any case.

Mu Bing stayed at the entrance while Myria walked up to him.

”I came to ask if you were available to go with me to the Dragon-Phoenix Alliance.

”Of course, I was just about to go see you, but Iʼm glad you sought me out through your own will even though there is not much of a chance they would try to harm you.”

”…”

Myriaʼs cheeks were slightly behind her veil. She thought he would tease her more in front of everyone, so it took some will from her to carry her feet here.

”You canʼt say that.” Myria shook her head, ”People act welcoming all the time, but the moment they see our weakness, theyʼll seize and kill us and then shamelessly say it is for the sake of the world. Of course, this happens to normal people as well, but for us Divergents, our kind only has the option to rule through fear from time immemorial because trusting us through respect alone is hard to come by.”

Davis nodded, agreeing with her as he knew she had more experience in surviving as an Anarchic Divergent than him.

”By the way, where is Ellia?” He asked

”Ellia has gone to Saintess Lunaria to get some pointers from her.”

”I see.”

Hearing Myriaʼs reply, Davis smiled.

Both Myria and Ellia were in-name disciples, but Ellia was willing to learn more from Saintess Lunaria as she sought to be more than her current self.

”Alright, we can leave anytime-”

”Mu Bing, were you good? I havenʼt seen you for a long time…”
Sophie walked towards Mu Bing, causing the latterʼs icy expression to falter slightly, but her eyes quickly turned icy again.

”I am good.”

”Oh?” Tanya also stood up, ”You became an Immortal Emperor? Thatʼs great~”

”I finally have a sparring partner.”

Her chill gaze was different than Mu Bingʼs ice-cold gaze that held a myriad of illusions that certainly didnʼt make anyone able to perceive her emotions.

”…”

But suddenly though, every one of them was stunned as most of them didnʼt realize Tanya broke into the Immortal Emperor Stage, their eyes widening in shock.

Davis noticed it when she sat with them like nothing happened, but he was waiting for her to bring it up. Now, it seems like she was spurred by the fact that there was another ice-cultivator who could be as strong as her.

”Well, if you insist~”

Mu Bing finally replied, her aura causing the atmosphere to chill.

”Hush, there are children here.”

”…!”

Mu Bing instantly withheld and suppressed her aura as Myria reminded her.

”I- I apologize.”

”Donʼt try to act distant anymore. Theyʼre family.”

”…”

Myria spoke again, inevitably making everyone present feel butterflies flying in their stomach.

”Life Goddess…”

Even Mingzhi couldnʼt help but be charmed as she smiled like a fool.

”Alright, you can leave with her.”

She pushed Davis and allowed him to leave, causing Davis to chuckle as he didnʼt know what to say, as everyone seemed highly appreciative of Myria. Clearly, they already welcomed her as their sister.

What happened when he left Myria with them? Did they convert her, or did Myria convert them?

Whatever the result, he was happy with it and bid farewell.

However, Tanya was adamant that she wanted to accompany them, so he didnʼt stop her from coming with them.

He, Isabella, Tanya, Myria, and Mu Bing left the Aurora Cloud Gate. Outside, the Earth Dragon Clanʼs ship was already waiting for them.

Grand Elder Kirana Rocksunder was there to receive them. She was a middle-aged-looking lady wearing a golden robe with blue stripes. She was quite beautiful even with her looks hidden, although Isabella and he knew she was at least three hundred thousand years old since information on her existed from that time.

They have already done their due intelligence in collecting information on the people of the Earth Dragon Clan since Grand Elder Kirana Rocksunder appeared out of nowhere and volunteered herself to take care of Isabellaʼs demands, but it turned out that she was a pious individual who devoted herself to the sake of the clan and taking care of Isabellaʼs wants was one way for her to help the Earth Dragon Clan.

Nonetheless, after pleasantries, they traversed towards the Dragon-Phoenix Allianceʼs Headquarters in the Southern Divide, looking to meet the Saint and the Saintess who held the key, the final resource to creating Myriaʼs Eternal Life Body Physique, hopefully.
