New Age Of Summoners

Ajax and other young cultivators including Lews and Jeff stood in front of Elder Eamon and waited for him to start the next trial.

”Before we start the next trial, all of you need to inform us about how much your spirit consciousness capacity increased in the second trial,”

However, Elder Ramon didn’t start the next trial as he asked the young cultivators about the benefit from the second trial.

Every vagrant cultivator already knew about Elek’s trial and what kind of benefits it would bring to the young cultivators.

Moreover, with the help of that increment in the spirit consciousness capacity, the could get to know more about these young cultivators.

”Yes, Elder Ramon,”

Everyone nodded their heads and agreed to say their recent increment in the spirit consciousness.

”Start from here,”

Elder Ramon pointed at Ajax and asked him to start first.

’What the heck,’

Ajax was still in a daze as there were continuous system notifications ringing in his head that gave him one shock after another.

’Ding,

The spirit consciousness capacity of the host reached a value of 10000.

’Ding,

The spirit consciousness capacity will not be increased till the host breaks through into the general realm.

’Ding,

No passive increase in the spirit consciousness capacity from the ’Mysterious spirit cultivation technique’

’Ding,

However, the host can use other methods to increase his spirit consciousness’ capacity.

’Should I be happy that I reach 10000 units capacity of the spirit consciousness or should I be sad that I will no longer get the passive increase from the mysterious spirit cultivation technique?’

After seeing all the system notifications, Ajax didn’t know whether he should be happy or sad.

’Wait a second. If my spirit consciousness’ capacity is locked at 10000 units until I reach the breakthrough then there is no difference between me and senior brother Paulin, right?’

Ajax remembered the spirit consciousness capacity of Paulin which was capped at 10000 units and thought in his head.

Actually, Ajax thought that he would be in having more spirit consciousness capacity when compared to others because he used some items that increased his spirit consciousness capacity.

So, it was normal for Ajax to think like that.

’Maybe when I breakthrough in the minor realms, I might receive some increment,’

After thinking for a moment, Ajax thought in his head.

Since he would be not getting any passive increment in his spirit consciousness capacity, he thought levelling up in his cultivation would work.

’Ding,

Except for the increments from the items which increase the spirit consciousness capacity, no other thing will work until the host breaks through to the general realm.

’Sigh’

Seeing the latest system notification, Ajax sighed as he shook his head.

’Ajax, Elder Ramon is asking you to say the recent increment in the spirit consciousness’ capacity,’

While Ajax was looking into the thin air and sighing, he came to reality with the voice transmission of Levi.

’Huh?’

Ajax hurriedly came out and looked at Elder Ramon with a puzzled expression on his face.

”I asked you how much your spirit consciousness is increased,”

Looking at Ajax’s puzzled face, Elder Ramon once again asked him the same question.

’I got more than 700 units increment in my spirit consciousness. What about everyone? How many did they get?’

Ajax became a little anxious with Elder Ramon’s question because if his increment is too high then everyone’s focus would be on him.

’Sigh...whatever, I am already in their eyes. One more thing and it doesn’t make much difference,’

Since there was no way for him to escape from their eyes he decided to say less than half of what he got from the trial.

”I got 300 units of increment from Elder Elek,”

Ajax finally said the answer and looked at Elder Ramon as he was waiting to see his expression.

’Huh? Three hundred?’

Elder Ramon along with the other old men was shocked to hear that.

”You really got 300 units of increment?”

Everyone asked the same question at once that made Ajax’s fear come true.

”Yes”

Ajax nodded his head with an excited look on his face; however, inside his heart, he thought, ’Damn it...I only said 300 units. Please look at me like that.’

”Good”

Soon, everyone including Edmond and Udo also felt happy for Ajax before nodding their heads.

Elek had already said some rough approximation of how much their spirit consciousness would be increased after the trial. So, when it was completely out of range from what Elder Elek had said, everyone was first shocked; however, in the end, they were satisfied with Ajax’s result.

’What? He got 300 units of increment?’

’Sigh...why am I not as lucky as him?’

’I only got 100 units of increment and here was over the moon with my measly increment,’

Not only the old generation cultivators, but even the young cultivators were also shocked when they heard Ajax’s answer.

”Next,”

Soon, Elder Ramon called the next young cultivator and it was Levi.

”300 units of increment,”

Levi tried to answer as calmly as possible; however, he was unable to control his excitement.

”What?”

”Another 300 units of increment for another young cultivator?”

”Looks like I will take him as my disciple,”

All the vagrant cultivators were once again shocked by the result and their eyes fell on Levi to take him as their disciple.

”Damn it...I thought Ajax was the only exception. Looks I am there is another one,”

”I was just convincing myself that only Ajax will have the high increment and the rest of the young cultivators will have around the same increment in their spirit consciousness,”

”I need to try my best and prove myself in the next trials,”

As for the young cultivators who had just recovered from Ajax’s earlier words, Levi’s words gave them another shock.

”Good,”

Elder Ramon looked at Paulin and asked him next.

”200 units of increment, Elder Elek,”

Paulin didn’t have any jealousy over Ajax’s and Levi’s huge increment in their spirit consciousness’s capacity as he already knew they were not regular cultivators.

”Good...good. This batch has some good young cultivators,”

Elder Ramon revealed a satisfied smile as he nodded his head.

Paulin’s answer only gave them a small surprise because after receiving two back to back shocks, the third one would not have much impact on them.

”Next,”

”110 units”

”120 units”

.

.

.

.

”90 units”

”100 units”

After the first three, all other young cultivators received around the same level of increment in their spirit consciousness of 100 units.

As for Lewis and Jeff, they looked at other young cultivators with bitter smiles on their faces.

’Lewis, didi we make a mistake?’

Jeff looked at his father Udo, whose face was full of disappointment towards him and asked Lewis, who was beside him.

’We already took a decision and there is no use regretting it. So, don’t think much,’

Lewis shook his head as he suggested Jeff not to bother about the trial anymore.

’But still...if we had a little more courage….,’

”Stop it,”

Before Jeff could finish his sentence, Lewis asked him to shut his mouth.

”Now, it’s time to announce the winners of this trial,”

All of a sudden, Elder Ramon said in a loud voice; however, that didn’t bring him much attention from young cultivators.
