New Age Of Summoners

Edmond wanted to create an impression that he and all the young men behind him were going to the mercenary guild to pick some missions to train these young men.

The Guild Master had already said that only after the disciples were selected, they would be announced to the entire province until then it had to remain silent.

’Udo, did you ask them to come without making much attention, right?’

While they were moving Edmond asked Udo about someone.

’Yeah. All nine of your children will join us at the mercenary guild and at the same time I ask them to come in groups of two or three,’

Udo nodded his head and replied to Edmond.

For some reason, Edmond didn’t want others to know about his adopted children yet. So, he made them come like normal mercenaries coming for some missions from the mercenary guild.

Soon, they reached the mercenary guild which was almost empty as many of the mercenaries were still recovering from their injuries they got in the battle with the demon army.

”Hello, Captain Edmond, you are late,”

Just as they entered, Captain Edmond and others heard a familiar voice from inside the mercenary guild.

”Ajax, you are already here. Good. Let’s go and meet the guild master,”

Edmond didn’t waste time by talking about other things as he directly moved to meet the guild master.

He was none other than Ajax, who came just a few moments earlier than Edmond and others. Behind him, the barbarian stood like a statue without any expression on his face.

As for the two eagle brothers, they didn’t turn into human form as they were resting on a huge tree in front of the mercenary guild.

”Hello, guild master,”

The moment they met the guild master, everyone greeted him with a polite expression on their faces.

”You brought everyone?”

The guild master was missing some of the faces amongst the young men. So, he asked Edmond about it.

”No everyone but my adopted children will come here at any moment,”

Edmond explained that he didn’t want others to know about their existence yet.

”Okay. Let’s wait here. The other five vagrant cultivators will be coming here soon,” The guild master asked them to wait in the hall as it was the only hall that was big enough for all the people.

”Yes, guild master,”

Everyone sat in the chairs and started talking about something to pass their boredom.

”Father,”

Soon, Edmond’s adopted children started coming one by one from the outside and joined them.

”Looks like everyone is eager for the disciple selection ceremony...Good,”

”Shall we go?”

Soon, the other five vagrant cultivators came to the meeting room and asked them.

”Yes, sir,”

Everyone nodded their heads with excited looks on their faces.

”The test begins now”

All of a sudden, the environment turned serious as ’The Eternal Nurturer’, Ramon said in a low but strong voice.

While saying that, he threw a bunch of papers at the young men and young women.

”There is one unique region in the maps I just tossed at you. As long you reach the position within ten hours, you will be qualified for the next round,”

After tossing the maps, Ramon said their task for the first round.

”And the time starts now,”

Just as he finished his words, an illusionary sand watch appeared beside Ramon which he turned upside down.

’What?’

’Round 1 has already started?’

’Damn it...why are there no signs of other places?’

’How can we find it without proper signs?’

’Is this even called a map? There is just a single red dot in it,’

When they heard Ramon’s words, they hurriedly picked up the maps to see where they should reach in one hour; however, except for one red dot on the so-called map, there were no drawings or signs on it making all the youngsters confused.

’Ding,

     Item name:- Magic map

Information:- Stores the location of a particular place in it; however, it will not be seen to the normal eye. One needs to transfer the essence of nature into the map to make the drawings and signs to appear on it.

More information:- It is made up of the bark of a magical essence absorbing tree.

’It’s just like I guessed,’

Ajax was not surprised by the system notification as he had already guessed how to see the drawings and signs; however, something else surprised him.

’Does, Elder Ramon have a magical essence absorbing tree or what?’

Generally, the magical essence absorbing tree was not very valuable; however, it was very rare to be found.

So, when he saw that Ramon threw a bunch of papers made from the bark of the magical essence absorbing tree, he was shocked a little.

’Nevertheless, I will complete this round. Captain Edmond said these old dudes are very rich. I will see how rich are they,’

Ajax wanted to become the disciple of these vagrant cultivators only to see how rich were they and if they have any middle-grade upgrade stone or success stones with them, then he could upgrade the ’Seal breaking compass’ and then release one of the last two seals in Darbaudr’ spirit consciousness.

’Swoosh’

Soon, he started transferring his universal essence of nature into the map.

’Huh? So, it is like that,’

Everyone noticed Ajax’s way of finding the drawings on the map and everyone started doing the same.

’Good,’

Except for the guild master, the other five vagrant cultivators were surprised by Ajax’s quickness and nodded their heads at him and at the same time remembered his face.

”I am going now. See ya,”

Ajax was very fast in transmitting the essence of nature and moreover, his essence of nature was much purer than others. So, the drawings appeared very soon and he rushed out of the mercenary guild.

’Damn it...I poured more than 50 percent of my essence of nature and the map only revealed a little more than 50 percent. At this rate, my spirit consciousness will be empty,’

’Me too. After filling the map with my essence of nature, I will be having less than 10 percent in my spirit consciousness,’

…

…

…

All the youngsters except for Levi, Justice every one complained about their essence of nature.

Levi was not from this province. So, of course, he would have much pure essence of nature in his spirit consciousness compared with the young men and young women from the Zrochester province.

As for justice, his cultivation was completely different from the regular cultivators and he had to kill bad people to increase his cultivation.

So, both of them were able to finish much sooner than others.

’I am also going’

Soon, Levi and Justice also ran away as their map had complete drawings now.

However, before leaving the mercenary guild, Justice looked at his brother, who didn’t even have 30 percent of his map filled, he sighed and advised him, ’It is okay, little brother. Just don’t give up and do like you always do to finish the task till the end.’

He just encouraged his brother as he knew how stubborn his little brother was when it came to some things.

Soon, he followed behind Levi till some distance, then he separated as the red dot in the map was at another place.
