New Age Of Summoners

When he was younger, the forest fairy king was very curious about weapons and artifacts. He always studies records stored by their ancestors regarding how to identify the effects of the artifacts and weapons.

Finally, that curiosity along with his hard work that led him to become a good appraiser.

”Finally, I found out something about this shield,”

After observing the small shining shield in his hands, the forest fairy kind replied to his daughter.

”What did you find, father?”

Keshe curiously asked her father.

Behind her, Keshe’s uncle and the demonic lion king were also excitedly waiting to know about it.

Who doesn’t want to know about an item whose grade was higher than Heaven grade?

”It is a quasi-legendary grade,” The forest fairy king said with a face full of smiles.

Quasi legendary grade is a realm higher than heaven grade and lower than a legendary grade.

In the Zrochester province, having high-level heaven grade artifact or weapon is already a good thing.

So, with a quasi-legendary grade item in his hands, of course, the forest fairy king would be happy.

”What is it called? And what is it used for?”

Keshe was curious about the name and its effects/ So that she could use it when she needed it.

”With the symbols and runes on it, it is named as a ’Summoner’s shield’ by the creator of this shield,” Geron slowly started explaining about the shield’s effects, ”As for the effect, this small shield can block three attacks from any cultivator below king realm and convert the energy from those attacks into the pure essence of nature for the user to use.”

’...’

’...’

After the forest fairy king finished his words, the surroundings were completely silent.

Keshe and others stared at the small shining shield in Geron’s hands with a shock.

They were shocked because they didn’t expect that such a small shining shield would have such an effect.

”Currently, it is ownerless. Just drop blood on it and it will recognize you as its owner,”

The forest fairy king knew they were completely shocked by the effect of the small shining shield; however, he continued to speak to his daughter which woke her up from her shock.

”No father. You should take and fight for the treasures with those spirit beasts from the inner section of the cursed wilderness,”

Coming out of her shock, Keshe shook her head as she didn’t agree with his father.

According to her, the shield could help them change their lives. So, he asked her father to use it for himself.

Generally, in the cursed wilderness, as long any spirit beast had sufficient power, they could go and challenge one of the rulers of the inner section of the cursed wilderness. If they win, they would get the territory of that ruler and if he lost, then he would become a meal for that ruler.

”Let’s not talk about it now. Your brother said that there are some miraculous pills in that world. Once he gets his hands on them, we will be the sole rulers of the cursed wilderness,”

Nevertheless, the forest fairy kind shook his head as he recalled the words of his son.

”But they were lessening our share of valuable items and using them for themselves,” Keshe still didn’t look convinced with her father’s words.

As we know already, the cursed wilderness is divided into three sections: inner, middle and outer.

There is no ruler for the inner section.

Middle-section is ruled by the forest fairy king, Geron.

As for the inner section, which is the biggest and comprised 70 percent of the cursed wilderness, it was ruled by who knows how many spirit beast kings.

However, there is one single spirit beast king that every other spirit beast kings feared and listened to.

So, the thing is, as the rulers of the cursed wilderness, everyone gets some portion of resources that were available in the cursed wilderness from time to time depending on the strength of the ruler.

Here, What Keshe was trying to say was the other rulers were enjoying 50 percent of their share because her father was the weakest one among all the rulers in the entire cursed wilderness.

”How many times did I tell you not to think about these matters. I just want you to diligently cultivate and enter that world which your brother went to. As for all other things, just forget about them”

The forest fairy king became a little agitated with Keshe’s words; however, after finishing his words, he just sighed as he threw the small shining shield at his daughter.

”Ceru, send her back to her cultivation chambers,”

Without giving any time for his daughter, Geron asked Keshe’s uncle to send her back.

Keshe’s uncle was the most trusted aide and a childhood friend of the forest fairy king. So, he understood that Geron wanted to be alone.

So, he looked at Keshe and said, ”Keshe, let’s go.”

Keshe looked at her uncle for a moment and next she looked at her father before walking towards him, ”Even if the shield is with me, I will never use it for myself.”

After finishing her words, Keshe turned and left along with her uncle and the demonic lion king.

’Sigh...whether I should feel happy that she cares about me or I should feel sad about her stubbornness?’

Looking at the departing silhouette, the forest fairy king sighed as he shook his head.

’She is just like her mother,’

However, in the end, a slight smile appeared on his handsome face before he returned to his cultivation chambers inside the huge tree.

.....

”Uncle Ceru, can you please convince my father to take this shining shield?”

While returning to her cultivation chamber, Keshe asked her uncle with a worried look.

”You already know about your father,” Keshe’s uncle shook his head as he continued, ”Once he said something, he will never change his words.”

”Sigh”

Hearing that Keshe sighed as went into a huge tree which was not as huge as the one that her father had entered.

Similarly, the demonic lion king also entered into another tree to take some rest.

As for Ceru, many thoughts were flowing at an incredible speed; however, in the end, he just sighed and left from there.

...…

In front of the assassination circle,

”Darbaudr, this assassination circle’s main building looks even more beautiful from here,” Ajax, who covered his face with a normal asked said to the barbarian beside him.

Generally, many cultivators and common people come and go to the assassination circle. So, the sudden appearance of the two cultivators and one common human didn’t raise much attention from the other assassins, cultivators and common man.

’But the sad thing is, it will be destroyed in some time. What a pity,’

The barbarian, who was currently disguised as a human replied to Ajax through the voice transmission.

”Haha….let’s go inside and see how it is from inside,” Ajax laughed out loud without any fear because Darbaudr cultivation which is level 1 of the elite general realm made others wary about them.

So, on one had a problem with Ajax being laughing out loud.

Soon, Ajax, Darabaudr and the middle-aged man named Lechner entered the main building of the assassination circle.

Currently, Lechner was also wearing a mask. Moreover, his spirit consciousness was destroyed making him look like a common man guiding some cultivators into the assassination circle.

”Hello, the respected customer. What type of assassination mission you want to place?”

Just as they entered the main building, a young woman asked them with a tone full of respect.

That’s right!

As long as the cultivator had enough money, they could kill anymore except for the people from the top powers. At least that’s what they say in the open.

However, if the price was right enough, they would kill even a member of the top power.

For that, they need a very huge amount.

”I want to kill some people,”

Ajax nodded his head and carefully observed the young woman in front of him.

’Young master, He is an old cultivator using some disguise as a young woman,’

While Ajax was observing the young woman in front of him, Lechner hurriedly sent a voice transmission thinking about something.

Ajax turned his head and nodded his head at the ex-assassin while cursing in his mind, ’Damn you. I am not thinking of something else.’

”Young master, can you say what are the cultivation realms of the targets?”

When the young woman heard Ajax’s words, she was excited because more targets mean more money. More money means the more commission the disguised old man would get. So, she excitedly asked and the level of respect towards Ajax also increased.

”Most of them have general realm cultivation and very few of them have elite general cultivations; however, the highest cultivation didn’t exceed level 5 of the elite general realm. Isn’t that right?”

Ajax turned his face towards Lechner and asked him.

”Sure sure”

All of a sudden, the disguised old cultivator was excited because killing an elite general realm costs very much; however, the young master in front of him wants to kill multiple of them.

Moreover, he also wants to kill many general realm cultivators. So, all he could smell was a lot of spirit stones or treasures.

”Young Master, you know the prices, right?”

However, his instinct said that there was something wrong. So, he asked whether Ajax knew prices or not.

”Who cares about prices when I was the one killing all those bitches,”

’Slash’

After finishing his words, Ajax used his demon hand and slashed the young woman’s throat while revealing a cruel smile on his face.
