New Age Of Summoners

Who will not have fear when it comes to their soul. So, of course, Dark flame cursed at his bad luck.

”Ready?”

Elder Elek nodded his head as he asked the short Dark flame whether he was ready or not.

’Stay still’

Before Dark flame could even reply to him, he placed his hand on Dark flame’s head.

All the young cultivators were looking at Dark flame to notice any changes in him.

’Aargh’

However, it didn’t take much longer for Dark flame to groan in pain.

’5 seconds, next’

Elder Elek stopped the moment Dark flame groaned in pain and announced the result of the trial before asking for the next participant.

’Ah..ah’

Dark flame was completely covered in sweat; however, he was still able to walk back to his place while gasping for air.

There was something that puzzled all the young cultivators when they looked at Dark flame and that was an exciting smile was plastered on Dark flame’s face.

Next, King killer, with his usual arrogant look hurriedly moved forward to be the next participant because Elder Elek didn’t bother to pick anymore.

So, after seeing the excited smile on Dark flame’s face, he guessed that there were some benefits to endure the pressure on his soul.

”I am ready, Elder Elek,”

King killer revealed a smile as his arrogant look had completely disappeared by the time he reached Elder Elek.

”Good”

Elder Elek nodded his head as he repeated the process ofo placing his hand on the participant’s head.

’Aargh’

Just like Dark flame, King killer also groaned in pain before revealing an excited smile on his face that made all the young cultivators puzzle and their fear towards the trial had completely vanished.

Soon, one after another young cultivators went to Elder Elek and returned with an excited smile on their faces.

...

As Elder Elek was conducting his trial, the three vagrant cultivators, Ramon, Esmund and Seward were having a serious discussion among themselves.

’Are we not going to bother about what that brat had baited the moon rabbit with?’

Ramon looked at Ajax and said to the other two vagrant cultivators.

In this discussion, only three of them were participating as for the guild master and Sandra, they didn’t bother about it.

’I think, Sandra knows about it; however, she is not telling us,’

’Maybe, she is planning to take Ajax as her disciple,’

’That must be right; otherwise, how can she be this calm even after her contracted spirit beast was deceived by a young brat?’

’So, what are you planning?’

They discussed what Ajax used to bait the moon rabbit and in the end, they came to the conclusion that Sandra was going to take Ajax as her disciple. So, Esmund and Seward asked Ramon regarding what he was planning.

’I am thinking of accepting Ajax as my disciple at any cost to find out about it. Moreover, he is good enough to be my disciple,’

Ramon looked at Ajax before replying to the other two vagrant cultivators.

’...’

Esmund and Seward were speechless at Ramon’s words as they shook their head at Ramon’s shamelessness.

’You are indirectly asking us to support you, right?’

Seward asked Ramon with a scoff.

’Yes...as long as he becomes my disciple, you can pick any one item from my eternal garden,’

Ramon revealed a slight smile on his face as he gave a good offer to the two other vagrant cultivators that was impossible to resist.

’Are you for real?’

’Just for a disciple, you are going to give two items?’

Esmund and Seward were shocked by Ramon’s words as they asked him.

’Sure. As long as I know what that brat used to bait the moon rabbit, it is all worth it. If I can get my hands on it, I can tame that thing which sleeping for many years now,’

Ramon looked at the distant mountain as he replied to the two other cultivators.

’Okay then. We will fully support you,’

’That’s right! Since you are very good at bribing, we will definitely support you,’

Esmund and Seward nodded their heads before focusing on the trial.

To be more accurate, they focused on Ajax to see who much longer he would endure Elek’s pressure.

….

’Those three must be planning something behind your back,’

Just as Ramon, Esmund and Seward finished their discussion and came to one conclusion, the leader of the six vagrant cultivators, the guild master Rae silently transmitted his voice to Sandra which contained a hint of a smile.

’Those three idiots will never change...just let them do whatever they want to do,’

Sandra shook her head as she replied to the guild master.

’I am hoping that this is going to be funny...haha,’

The guild master also nodded his head as he started laughing in his heart thinking about what the future would bring.

…...

At the other side, the Elder Elek was placing his hands on the young cultivators with a nonchalant expression.

’6 seconds’

’4 seconds’

’8 seconds,’

.

.

.

….

The trial continued without any disturbance and finally, it was Ajax’s turn as he was the last one remaining in the trial.

’Should I groan in pain after 5 seconds?’

From the beginning, Ajax observed each and everyone’s performance. In that, almost everyone’s time limit was around 5. So, he thought about whether he should give up after 5 seconds or not.

Among all the young cultivators, Levi’s record was 10 seconds which was the highest followed by Paulin and the remaining spots were taken by Justice, Silver Goliath, Fearless Gorilla and others.

However, no one was depressed after the trial as though they received some kind of benefit after completing their turn in the trial.

’I hope it should be something great, right? Even Senior brother Levi also seems to be happy,’

With a head full of thoughts, he finally reached Elder Elek and said, ”I am ready, Elder Elek.”

Elder Elek didn’t say anything as he placed his hand on Ajax’s head.

All of a sudden, Ajax felt like his spirit consciousness was increasing along with slight pain in his head.

’Ding,

     Spirit consciousness capacity +50

’Ding,

     Spirit consciousness capacity +40

’Ding,

     Spirit consciousness capacity +30

.

.

.

’Ding,

     Spirit consciousness capacity +10

’Ding,

     Spirit consciousness capacity +1

At the same time, the system notifications continuously rang in his head that gave him a pleasant surprise.

’What the...’

Ajax was shocked by the increment of his spirit consciousness and shocked to the core.

’Wait a second...damn it...five seconds must be over,’

All of a sudden. Ajax recalled something and intentionally groaned in pain as he fell to the ground.

’8 seconds, Good,’

Elder Elek nonchalantly announced the result before going back to the other vagrant cultivators and discussed something.

As for Ajax, he was completely covered in sweat just like other young cultivators; however, it was not because of the pressure on his spirit consciousness; instead, it was because he feared that he created a record higher than senior brother Levi.

Nevertheless, he was supported by other young cultivators to stand up from the ground.

”Everyone, come here and stand in a row,”

Soon, Elder Ramon came forward as he asked every young cultivator to properly stand in front of him.
