New Age Of Summoners

Even though he was very angry at Lechner and his helpers, the sect leader Gerg was not a reckless person to immediately go after them.

Moreover, he wanted to know more about why Lechner destroyed the assassination circle.

”Sect leader Gerg, did you see the one who did this?”

When the 4 assassin brothers heard the sect leader Gerg’s words, they hurriedly asked him about the perpetrators.

”Yes. It was none other than Lechner. He found some strong helpers to do that,” the sect leader Gerg replied to the 4 remaining assassins from the assassination circle.

”What? Lechner?”

”How is that possible?”

”How can he be still alive?”

”Why would someone help a crippled person?”

Various questions came out of the four assassins that were aimed at one another and at the sect leader Gerg.

”Huh?”

Hearing those questions, the sect leader Gerg raised his brows as he felt something was wrong and asked them, ”What happened to him?”

After hearing the questions that came out of the four assassins in shock, the sect leader Gerg’s curiosity increased a lot and asked them about what happened to Lechner.

”Huh?”

All of a sudden, all the four assassins looked at the sect leader Gerg with confused looks on their faces.

”What happened to you? Didn’t you say it is impossible for Lechner to be alive?” the sect leader Gerg asked them again regarding his earlier question.

When the sect leader Gerg saw Lechner, it was only for one split second and he was unable to notice his spirit consciousness as he also wanted to check the other two people along with him.

”Sect leader Gerg, isn’t Lechner taken by the assassin sect’s elder for failing a mission?”

One of the four assassins asked the sect leader Gerg with puzzled looks as he continued saying, ”Later, we were informed by the second elder that his spirit consciousness was destroyed and killed by the sect.”

”What? Damn this second elder,”

The sect leader Gerg was shocked by those words and his rage towards the second elder increased to the peak.

If the second elder was here right now, the sect leader Gerg would have killed him at this instant without thinking for a second.

Since the second elder was not here, the sect leader Gerg cursed him in his heart and asked the assassins, ”Tell me the whole story.”

Soon the assassins told everything they knew about what happened to Lechnerand his family and the reason behind those punishments.

”Sigh...”

Hearing the entire story, the sect leader Gerg could not help but sigh as he thought, ’I think, Lechner might have displeased the second elder.’

The sect leader Gerg could guess the reason for sending Lechner to a mission that he would not be willing to and later he was punished for ignoring the direct orders of the assassin sect.

”I promise you that I will help you take revenge against those who destroyed the assassination circle. Until then, you can come and stay in the assassin sect,” the sect leader Gerg said to stay them in the assassin sect as he continued, ”You will be given the guest elder role until the assassination circle is reconstructed.”

How could the assassin sect leave behind a major asset like an assassination circle just like that?

The sect leader thought to construct all the buildings once again and recruit and train more assassins for the assassination circle.

”Thanks, sect leader Gerg,”

All the four assassins bowed to the sect leader before leaving to the assassin sect along with the sect leader Gerg.

”Once we return to the sect, I will order all the disciples to spread the posters of Lechner and his two helpers all over the Zrocehster province with a high reward for anyone who could inform about their whereabouts,”

While they were rushing back to the assassin sect, the sect leader Gerg said to all the flour assassins.

As long as the reward was high, many cultivators would be willing to hunt for their whereabouts and it was impossible for Lechner to hide. However, it was a little difficult to find the other members because they were wearing masks.

Nevertheless, the sect leader Gerg decided to put a bounty according to what he remembered about the other two cultivators.

As for the assassins, they didn’t reply to him and silently followed behind the sect leader Gerg.

’Damn it...I wanted to take the help of the assassination circle’s chief but he was killed by someone else,’

Soon, the sect leader Gerg started to think about the original problem which was to kill Ajax.

Initially, he wanted to take the chief’s help to kill Ajax; however, he was killed by someone and now he had another problem which was to kill the perpetrators of the assassination circle.

However, if he knew that the assassination circle’s chief was killed by Ajax and his summons, then he would be shocked to death.

”It is all because of the second elder. Once I kill him, everything will be nice and peaceful,” At this point in time, killing the second elder was the only solution for the sect leader Gerg’s frustration to disappear.

’Wait a second. Why should I kill him? Why not I use him for the experimentation of the chief,’

All of a sudden, he got an exciting plan that would surely help him in the ’Killing Ajax’ mission.

’Moreover, I got the chief’s four guinea pigs with me. As long as I follow his recipe, I might create something with the second the elder,’

When he thought about his idea, the sect leader Gerg revealed a cruel smile on his face; however, he was careful from being noticed by others.

The sect leader Gerg had his own reasons for inviting the four assassins to stay in the assassin sect.

Without talking, they continued to rush towards the assassin sect.

.....

Five kilometers away from the main building of the assassination circle,

Ajax and the other two with him were transported to exactly five kilometers in the direction of the mercenary guild away from the main building of the assassination circle.

According to the system explanation about the escape talisman, it would teleport people in random directions; however, with the help of the barbarian, who had the affinity with the space type element, they managed to teleport to an exact place and in the direction they wanted.

’Damn it...damn it’

After they were teleported, Ajax started cursing in his heart.

”What happened, young master?”

Even though Ajax didn’t curse out loud, the barbarian was able to tell that his young master was frustrated for some reason.

”Nothing,”

However, Ajax just shook his head as he calmed himself down.

’Looks like I need to go and destroy a couple more shops to get the mission accomplished,’

The reason he was frustrated was that he still didn’t get the system notification informing him about the completion of the mission.

So, after calming himself down, Ajax thought to destroy a few more shops owned by the assassin sect.

At the same in the destruction site of the assassination, a small brick in the huge wall was crushed and all of a sudden, the huge wall collapsed onto the ground.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for completing the mission of ’Counterattack the enemy’

’Ding,

Destroyed 10 percent of the assassin sect’s assets.

’Ding,

A trip to the five elemental world is rewarded along with a 2 minor realm advancement energy orb, which was stored in the host’s spirit consciousness.

’Ding,

Continue to finish more missions to get rewarded by the system.

Just as he was thinking about how to destroy more shops to finish the mission, he got a series of missions that gave a pleasant surprise to him.

’Oh. The rewards are greater than I thought,’

Ajax was very much satisfied with the rewards because even with any one of the rewards, he would be satisfied as he basically did nothing in the mission.

Moreover, this mission was very exciting for him because he used all his summons to kill the chief of the assassination circle.

’Ding,

The host’s spirit consciousness is completely filled and the system detected the incoming essence of nature. Hurry up and deplete some of the essence of nature as soon as possible.

When he was amidst the excitement from the mission accomplishment, he got another system notification that made him anxious.

’I will do that,’

Without thinking much, Ajax turned his face towards Lechner and asked, ”Do you want your spirit consciousness to heal? Also, do you want to be a part of my team in destroying the assassin sect?”

His words were very fast; however, Lechner clearly understood them and without any hesitation, he nodded his head to Ajax’s words.

If it was before they destroyed the assassination circle, Lechern would have not accepted without any hesitation; however, things were different now.

”Good. There will be a trial specially designed for you. As long as you complete it, you will be reborn into a completely new person with your memories intact. So, try your best in completing it,”

Ajax gave him a few advice before silently ordering the system in his head, ’System, I want to use the ’Second chance’ feature for him.’

The second chance was a system feature that could help people like Lechner, who used to be bad in the past; however, changed into a good person which cost him the lives of his family and his cultivation.

He used it on Braylon, who is currently known as Justice and this is Ajax’s second time using the ’second chance’ feature.
