New Age Of Summoners

Assassin god’s statue, as its name suggests, it’s an assassin’s statue, who ascended to a greater world and while leaving, he created some small statues for his descendants and stored some kind of magical power.

As for the magical power, it varies from statue to statue.

”So, how many of these statues are created and what kind of magical power is stored in this statue?”

After learning about the statues, Ajax asked with a frown on his face.

He didn’t expect something like that in front of them which could not only increase the power of the normal assassins and injured assassins, it also awakened the dead assassins.

So, of course, Ajax had to be careful regarding that thing and wanted to know more about it.

”I am not sure about how many were created. But, it was said that there were a total of 12 and each with its own magical power,”

Lechner thought back to the discussions from when he was still an assassin and replied to Ajax about it.

”Twelve statues?” Ajax felt it was not a good thing to have that many magical statues with the assassins.

”As for the magical power, except for the owner of the statue, no one knows. Moreover, this is my first time seeing one of the magical statues,” Lechner shook his head as he didn’t even know the magical power of the statue in front of them.

”Yo...you. How do you know about it?”

The vice-chief who was listening to their conversation was shocked at how informative the perpetrators were and asked him with a shocked face.

From the moment the vice-chief took out the assassin god’s statue, Lecher didn’t speak in voice transmission as he was too shocked to do that.

Moreover, Ajax also spoke out loud without any fear because he wanted Lechner to speak. So that everything would go according to his plan.

Without any problem, the vice chief was able to hear them loud and clear.

”Wait a second...this voice”

However, before Ajax or Lechner could reply to the vice chief, he felt the voice was a little familiar to him.

Lechner was a dark gold-ranked assassin and of course, he was famous as there were only 7 dark gold-ranked assassins in the entire assassination circle.

So, of course, the vice-chief was able to recognize Lechner just with the voice alone and adding to the fact that Lechner was so knowledgeable about their assassin god’s statues, it didn’t take much time for him to find out.

’Oh no’

Lechner shook his head as he looked at Ajax for a moment before taking out his mask, ”Since you already recognized me, I think I don’t have any use with this mask.”

Finally, Lechner understood that Ajax using him and acting like Ajax was taking revenge for him.

’So what, as long as this assassination circle gets destroyed, I don’t mind him killing me,’ Lechner didn’t feel anything as he looked at the vice chief and said, ”Nice to meet you, Vice chief.”

Lechner totally forgot about the statue and simply waved at the vice chief with a smile on his face.

”Damn you, Lechner. Aren’t you dead already?”The vice chief was shocked to find Lechner still alive.

According to his chief, Lechner went against the orders of the assassin sect’s mission which led it to a failure. So, he was handed over to the assassin sect.

Later, the assassin sect informed the assassination circle, he was punished according to the mistakes he had made and after that, no one knows what happened to him.

”Haha...are you surprised to see me here?”

Lechner started the sentence with a laugh; however, that laugh disappeared at the end as his eyes became bloodshot with anger.

”We thought you were dead as we knew who the assassin sect deals with those who fail the missions,”

There was no emotion in the vice chief’s eyes as he calmly replied to Lechner.

”I know but you know that I will not accept missions that include killing children?” Lecher shouted at the vice chief as he vented his anger in that shout.

”If you came to destroy that assassination circle then why are spouting non-sense? Come and destroy...Haha,”

”All of you, go and kill,”

Soon, the vice chief started laughing as he ordered every assassin in the huge hall to kill Lechner and his two associates.

While they were having the conversation, all the assassins except for the vice chief turned into black coloured beings. Currently, they look like shadows.

All the shadows look exactly the same appearance and no one was able to find any differences between them.

’I hope this can stop them until the Chief comes here,’ After giving his order, the vice chief silently thought in his head and rushed towards Ajax in order to kill him.

The main thing about the Vice chief was that as long as he felt a bad premonition in his heart, he would go all out and would not give any chance for his enemies to react.

So, along with the shadow-like beings, he also rushed towards them as he didn’t want to underestimate them.

”Haha...let’s find more about these magical statues after we destroy this assassination circle,”

Ajax only frowned for a moment when he saw the appearance of the shadows; however, he was not worried much about them and said to Darabaudr.

”Sure”

Darbaudr nodded his head as he slashed his sword at the incoming shadow beings.

”I will take care of these shadow beings. You go and take care of that vice chief,” Ajax looked at shadow beings who were easily killed by Darabudr and asked him to leave them to him.

Because he couldn’t fight the vice chief without using all his trump cards. So, he asked the barbarian to take care of it.

”Yes, young master,” Darbaudr nodded his head as he moved towards the vice-chief, who was about to kill Lechner.

”Die, you damned traitor,”

The vice chief’s first target was Lechner because he was the weakest one and he had successfully increased the vice chief’s anger.

”Your opponent is me. Not him,” Before he could slash Lechner, the vice chief was stopped by Darbaudr.

At the other end, Ajax looked at the swarming shadows around him, Ajax revealed a smile as he called, ”Twilight, it’s time for you to play.”

....

A few moments before Ajax killed the old man disguised as a young woman,

In the assassin sect,

In the main hall, the sect leader and all the elders of the assassin sect gathered for another meeting.

Moreover, along with them, there were 14 more assassins, with slightly different uniforms compared to the assassin sect.

”Sect leader Gerg, what mission do you have for us?”

One of those 14 assassins looked at the sect leader Gerg before asking the sect leader of the assassin sect for summoning them.

”My assassin sect needs the help of the assassination circle in killing someone and no one should know that the mission came from the sect,” The sect leader Gerg looked at each and every one of his sect’s elders before replying to one of the 14 masked assassins.

Compared to the sect leader Gerg and elders, all those 14 assassins were covering their faces with black masks.

They were none other than the assassins of the assassination circle. 4 dark gold-ranked assassins along with 10 peak lite gold-ranked assassins were summoned to the assassin sect by the sect leader Gerg.

Just a little while ago, the sect leader Gerg got to know that the undead assassins failed in killing Ajax and from his experience he could conclude that Edmond would surely doubt them because currently, only the assassin sect hold the technique to create the undead assassins.

So, he wanted to take help of the assassination circle.

’With the assassination circle’s chief, he could easily kill Ajax before Edmond could even release that Ajax was killed,’ The sect leader didn’t want to owe a favour to the assassination circle’s chief. So, he waited until now because he didn’t have another choice in this case.

Some might wonder that when the assassination circle was the servant organization to the assassin sect, then why would the sect leader Gerg owe a favour for completing a mission from the sect.

As for the reason, once an assassin becomes a chief, they would be free from the seal placed in their spirit consciousness and had the same status as that of the first elder of the assassin sect.

If someone wants to request him to complete a mission, even if he was the sect leader of the Assassin sect, they need to pay the thing he requests them. So, the sect leader Gerg was hesitant till now; however, it disappeared the moment, Edmond killed the undead assassins.

That’s right!

The sect leader Gerg thinks that Edmond was the one who helped Ajax. So, he was using the last to second method in killing Ajax.

As for the last one, except for him, no one knows.

”Huh? You could have directly sent the details of the mission to the circle, sect leader Gerg,”

One of the four dark gold-ranked assassins replied to the sect leader.

”It is not a small mission. It requires that your chief to act himself to kill the person,” The sect leader Gerg replied as he threw a scroll at him and said, ”The details of the target are in there.”

”What?”

All the 14 assassins were shocked to hear those words.

’Kacha’

Just when they were about to ask for more details, a crisp sound came from all the pendants worn by the four dark gold-ranked assassins.

’Danger’
