New Age Of Summoners

If there was some good news for him, of course, Ajax wanted to know about it. So, he asked the middle-aged man regarding it.

”Just before he picked me up, I saw an elder of the assassin sect, who seemed like he was in some kind of hurry, visit the assassination circle. He left within a few minutes after entering the building,” Lechner paused for a second before continuing, ”However, I noticed 4 out of the five lite gold assassins and a 10 peak silver ranked assassins along with him.”

”Huh? So, you are saying that there is only a dark gold-ranked assassin along with one lite gold-ranked assassins in the building? Good.... good”

Ajax nodded his head as he understood the good news.

”Yes...from the looks of it, the assassin sect must be summoning them for some important mission. I think it’s better to hurry up before they come back. Once all the five lite gold-ranked assassins are together, even the dark gold-ranked assassin has to be careful when fighting against them,”

Lechner suggested Ajax and Darbaudr start their planning as soon as possible.

Darbaudr looked at Ajax as he was the man in charge and he would do whatever he decided to do.

”Hmm”

Ajax nodded his head as silently thought about his plan, ”Looks like I don’t need to make any changes to my plan.”

He felt happy that his plan was perfectly alright for destroying the assassination circle.

”Everything is alright. Before, we go there, wear this mask, Darbaudr,”

After re-checking his plan, Ajax nodded his head as he threw a mask at the barbarian while saying everything was alright.

’Huh? This is a….A heaven grade item,’

Darbaudr and Lechner were shocked at the mask in the barbarian’s hands.

”Yes. Wear this and you will look like a normal human in the eyes of other cultivators,” Ajax explained the use of the mask which would hide his presence.

Actually, it was given to Ajax by Levi in the dimensional crevice. However, when he had given it to Ajax, it was only a high-level earth grade and it didn’t have the ability to change the presence of one race cultivator into another race.

With the help of a mid-level upgrade stone, he levelled it up to the Heaven grade and gained an additional ability.

”Young master, it is better for you to hide your presence,” Darbaudr didn’t wear it immediately as he suggested Ajax wearing it for himself.

”No. Except for my name no one has ever seen me. As for you, you are the only barbarian with elite general realm cultivation in the entire Zrochester province whose name has reached every top power. So, it’s better no one knows about you and as for me, a normal mask is fine,”

While explaining the reason, Ajax took out a normal looking mask and wore it.

Ajax didn’t want to know that he had destroyed the assassination circle. Not yet. So, he wanted to keep his identity a secret.

”Yes, young master,”

Darbaudr understood what Ajax was trying to say and nodded his head before wearing the ’Hollow mask’ without asking any more questions.

”Now, what about you?”

After both of them wore the masks, Ajax looked at Lechner and asked about him.

”If you don’t mind, I will tag along with you. I hope you will allow me,” The middle-aged man bowed as he replied to Ajax.

The only reason Lechner was living was he wanted to see the destruction of the assassination circle and assassin sect. So, of course, he would not miss the chance of tagging along with them.

Even if they kill him for his brazen questions, Lechner wanted to ask them about coming with them.

”Okay then. Tag along,”

Ajax already had a plan for Lechner as he wanted to use his name to destroy the assassination circle. Then, no one could relate the ’about to happen’ incident to him.

’Thank you, young master. Thank you,’

Lechner was excited as he hurriedly thanked Ajax.

Ajax shook his head at the excited Lechner; however, he didn’t say anything allowed him to be excited.

”Darbaudr, I have been waiting for this moment for months for destroying the assets of the assassination sect. Finally, it’s time,” Ajax looked at the top of the assassination circle building from his place and revealed a cruel smile as he started moving towards it along with a barbarian and an ex-assassin, whose dantian was destroyed.

...…

In the depths of the middle section of the cursed wilderness,

”Father”

”Your majesty,”

Keshe and her uncle hurriedly rushed to a huge tree and shouted as loud as possible.

Beside them, the demonic lion king didn’t say anything as he feared Keshe’s father a lot. So, he didn’t dare to call him and silently waited.

”Swoosh”

As soon as they called, a huge hole appeared at the bottom of the huge tree trunk and a heavily built human walked out of it.

He wore a majestic green coloured robe with a golden crown on top of his head. Moreover, there was a normal wooden stick in his hand which didn’t match his personality at all.

As for his face, it was very handsome with green coloured hair. Before him, two huge butterfly wings that were pointing upwards.

As soon as he came out of the tree trunk, the hole disappeared and the tree trunk reverted back to its original shape.

”What happened, my dear daughter?”

He was none other than Keshe’s father and the king of the middle section of the cursed wilderness.

Seeing that, his daughter and his close friend, whom he had sent to protect his daughter from the shadows, in such an anxious state, he asked with a frown on his face.

”Father, the thing is we meet an old man...,”

Soon, Keshe said everything that had happened from beginning to end and she also said everything about how she met Ajax. Almost everything.

’Phew...this is what happened in the depths of the cursed wilderness,’

Only after she explained everything, Keshe felt relieved as she heaved a sigh of relief.

”What?”

”Stronger than your uncle?”

”Threw a re-cultivation for Brave without any hesitation?”

”Staying in the depths of the cursed wilderness for training some children?”

Keshe’s father, the great forest fairy king, who was just an inch away from reaching the king realm, was shocked as he recalled each and everything that his daughter had said to him about the black-robed old man.

’If he is able to pressure Keshe’s uncle without moving from his place, then he is definitely a king realm cultivator or even higher than that,’

Nevertheless, Geron, the forest fairy king suppressed his shock as he silently evaluated the black-robed old man.

”You said, he gave you some mission, right? Just complete it. It’s a good thing for us to meet him. If my guess is right, he will definitely owe us if you complete his mission,” Next, he looked at his daughter and revealed a smile.

For some reason, he was very proud of his daughter.

”Huh? It is only a simple mission, father. He will not owe us anything. Moreover, he had already given us two valuable things,” Keshe shook her head as she disagreed with her father.

”My silly daughter, you don’t know anything. For a high-level cultivator like that black-robed old man, even if you help him in small things, they will repay you for it. As for the items he had already given to you, didn’t you say they were the gifts for saving that young man?”

The forest fairy king walked forward as he lightly tapped her head while explaining to her.

”Oh”

Keshe nodded her head with an ’I don’t care’ look on her face because she was not expecting anything from the black-robed old man. Moreover, she was going to meet Ajax in a couple of days anyway. So, she felt it was not a problem for her to send some message from Elder Boron to Ajax.

”Sigh”

Looking at the expression on his daughter’s face, the forest fairy king sighed as he shook his face.

”By the way, didn’t you say you have received two items from the black-robed old man? What is the other one?”

All of a sudden, Geron remembered the other item given by the Elder Boron and asked his daughter about it.

”Oh right. Here it is,” When she heard her father’s words, she took out the small shining shield from her storage ring and said, ”I asked uncle about it. Even he was unable to appraise it.”

”Huh? He was unable to appraise it? Interesting...interesting,”

Geron nodded his head as he felt interested in the small shining shield in Keshe’s hands and asked her to give it to him.

Nodding her head, she gave that small shield to her father and waited for him to appraise the item.

”What a fine design. It has very complicated runes and symbols. I have never seen them in my entire life,” Geron started describing the symbols and the runes on the small shield.

Time continued to tick as Geron carefully observed the runes on it as he pondered their usage.

Soon, one hour passed by and Geron didn’t have a clue that an hour had passed as he was mesmerized with the item in his hands.

”Father, it’s been an hour? If you don’t know about it just say it,” Keshe felt annoyed at her father as she asked him.

”Huh?” Geron finally came out of his thoughts about the item as he started laughing all of a sudden, ”Finally, I found its usage.”
