New Age Of Summoners

’Wait...am I seeing things?’

’Did the moon rabbit willingly surrender to him?’

’What did he do?’

’I think, he tempted it with something,’

’Yes. The moon rabbit is a glutton. It ate all the valuables in my secret realm last time he came here,’

The five vagrant cultivators except for Sandra were shocked by the sudden turn of events in front of them.

Because they completely knew about the moon rabbit and how cunning the rabbit was.

So, when they saw a moon rabbit willingly allowed Ajax to pick it up from the ground which made their jaws drop.

However, in the end, they guessed that Ajax baited using some delicious food and that was the only logical reason.

’It is not an easy thing to tempt my little moon with any normal food. It has to be very high-level and at the same time, it has to be delicious. Only then it will eat that food item,’

Sandra knew the full well about her contracted spirit beasts. So, she replied with a scoff.

’Wait a second. Let me ask my little moon about it,’

Soon, she closed her eyes and contacted the little moon to ask for the reason.

’Huh?’

After learning the truth from the moon rabbit, Sandra raised her brows for a moment before revealing a smile on her veiled face.

’What happened?’

’Did you find out what he gave it?

The vagrant cultivators curiously asked her about what Ajax tempted the moon rabbit with.

’Little moon said that it didn’t know what the item was and he still didn’t give it. So, there is no way he could tell us about the item,’

Sandra revealed a bitter smile as replied to the vagrant cultivators.

’Then how did he tempted it?’

Elek asked her while looking at the moon rabbit which was changing hands from Ajax to Justice and then Neil.

Since every participant needs to hold the moon rabbit in their hands for two seconds, Ajax made sure his teammates also passed the trial along with him by letting them hold the moon rabbit for a few seconds.

’Little moon said that when Ajax tried to catch it earlier, he held that item in his hands and allowed it to breathe a delicious fragrance that made the little moon surrender to him. So that he would give that thing to it,’

Sandra explained what she learned from the moon rabbit as she continued, ’Looks like he is more cunning than my little moon. If he gave that thing to the little moon earlier, he would have wasted it for nothing. Now, he still has that item in his possession and at the same time he along with his teammate passed the trial.’

’Haha...I decided to take him as my disciple. So, no one should compete with me,’

One of the vagrants said to the other vagrant cultivators.

’You? With your teaching techniques, he would become an idiot. Let me take him as my disciple,’.

Another vagrant cultivator replied to the first vagrant cultivator.

Except for the guild master and Sanda, the remaining four vagrant cultivators started a war of words.

Soon, there was an internal fight among the four vagrant cultivators for the sake of Ajax.

”Do you want to eat it?”

As for Ajax, who was the reason for an internal fight among the four vagrant cultivators, he looked at the little moon in his hands and asked it.

’Nods’

The little moon cutely nodded its head and silently thought, ’Once this human gives me that thing, I will beat the shit out of him for making me wait this long.’

Originally, the purple-eyed moon rabbit was a very cunning spirit beast and even for its slightest dissatisfaction, it would take revenge on others.

So, as soon as it gets the delicious item from Ajax, the moon rabbit decided to take revenge on him.

”Sorry”

However, Ajax had no intention of giving it what it wanted as he continued to say, ”I will only get the delicious items for my contracted spirit beasts or my mounts. So, you can’t get the item from him.”

Ajax revealed a cruel smile as he replied to the cute little rabbit.

The thing that Ajax used to bait the moon rabbit was none other than the ’Advanced essence pill’. It was known as the best pill for the spirit beasts to awaken their ancestral memories. So, any spirit beast below the king realm would be tempted to eat it.

However, Ajax was very careful that he didn’t even show the pill to the moon rabbit because he didn’t have any intention of giving that pill to it.

Moreover, he felt it was not a good thing to openly give a pill that could change the fate of a spirit beast to it as it would definitely make him fall in danger.

’At least I gain some trust regarding these vagrant cultivators, I better not use any of the good things in my arsenal,’

Ajax was simply following Edmond’s advice to hide the trump cards in your sleeve as long as possible.

’Growl’

When it heard Ajax’s words, the moon rabbit in his hands froze for a couple of seconds before revealing a low growl.

’Human, if you are not going to give that item, I am will kill you,’

While maintaining the growl, the moon rabbit spoke in a young woman’s voice which sounded very angry.

”What will you do?”

Ajax was not surprised much with the sudden young woman’s voice in his head as he was already accustomed to it. Also, since the moon rabbit was the contracted spirit beast of one of the six vagrant cultivators, he was not at all surprised at its human speech as he replied to the moon rabbit.

”I will kill you,”

The moon rabbit could no longer control its anger and this was its first time being deceived by someone.

Usually, it deceives everyone with its looks. So, it became very angry and jumped at him with its sharp nails.

However, Ajax didn’t move an inch from his place and stood there without any fear on his face.

”Little moon, stop it,”

Just when the moon rabbit was about to scratch Ajax’s face, the veiled woman appeared behind the moon rabbit and caught it with her hand.

”Young man, you need to be careful with your attitude,”

After calming down her little moon, Sandra looked at Ajax and said to him while releasing a strong pressure at him.

’Shrug’

Ajax replied to her with a shrug while barely enduring the pressure released from her.

In the past, he endured many greater pressures from Elder Boron without any cultivation.

Currently, he had good cultivation and unusual strength. So, it was not a problem for him to endure.

”Not bad”

Sandra retracted her cultivation pressure and nodded her head at him before saying, ”You three passed the trial; however, don’t get happy too early. There still five more trials for you to finish.”

After she finished her words at Ajax and the other two, she turned her head towards the other two teams and said in a low yet strong voice, ”Time is up and all of you failed the trial; however, no need to worry. There are still five more trials to prove yourself.”
