New Age Of Summoners

”What did you do to him?”

The moment he saw that Ajax was in pain, the barbarian immediately put the inheritance sword in his hand across Gaimont’s neck and asked in a serious tone.

”I am just checking whether he is worthy enough to form a contract with him. If you kill him, he will die along with me. So, you can remove your sword from my neck,”

There was not even a shred of fear on Gaimont’s face even when Darbaudr placed his sword across his neck as he simply asked him to lower his weapon.

”No, only when my young master opens his eyes, I will lower my weapon,” Darbaudr slightly pressed the sword as it slowly cut the small scales on the neck of Gaimont and held the sword in that place and he was ready to cut the head if something went wrong.

”As you wish,”

Gaimont didn’t bother with Darbaudr’s actions as he closed his eyes and entered his spirit consciousness.

The moment he entered his spirit consciousness, Gaimont saw that Ajax already placed his spirit imprint on the wall of the spirit consciousness.

However, currently, Ajax was holding his head as he floated in Gaimont’s spirit consciousness.

’Search’

Gaimont didn’t waste any time as he flew towards Ajax’s spirit consciousness form and placed his hand on his head.

’Aargh’

This time, it was Gaimont’s real body that groaned in pain that made Darbaudr and others surprised.

Time flew by and soon, an hour passed by,

Inside Gaimont’s spirit consciousness,

’Huh? How can this be? Why didn’t I get his complete memories,’

Gaimont, in his spirit consciousness form, opened his eyes and revealed a shocked look on his face when he looked at Ajax’s spirit consciousness form.

”What happened? Why do you look so shocked,”

By now, Ajax also opened his eyes and he didn’t feel any pain. After opening his eyes, he asked the shocked Gaimont.

”Even though I used a technique to see each others’ memories, I am still unable to remember your complete memories. As though something stopped me from learning more about you,”

Now, Gaimont was officially Ajax’s contracted spirit beast. So, he maintained a respectful tone while he asked Ajax’s question.

”Haha...but I completely learned about you,”

Ajax laughed as he said to Gainmont before saying, ”Shall we go out? Others might be worrying about us.”

Even though Ajax didn’t know exactly how much time had passed by, he knew one thing for sure and it was that it’s been more than usual time for forming a contract with a beast.

Moreover, after seeing the memories of Gaimont, Ajax felt that everyone had their own reasons and situations to become what they were.

That’s right!

Both Ajax and Gaimont exchanged their memories with the help of Gaimont’s secret technique; however, the system was much more powerful than any secret technique and it easily stopped Gaimont from seeing Ajax’s complete memories.

’Despite the continuous mocking for being a wyvern from the other beasts, he has successfully cultivated to a high realm and gained a territory with his sheer hard work,’

Ajax was impressed by Gaimont’s endurance towards the insult from the other spirit beasts.

Generally, a wyvern was seen as nothing more than an evolved snake.

Despite the fact, he became powerful, he was always ridiculed behind his back that continuously annoyed him. So, that’s why he wanted to try every method possible to become a pure dragon.

”Master, are you alright?”

As soon as they came out of the spirit consciousness, Darbaudr asked Ajax whether he was alright or not.

”I am fine. Completely fine,”

Ajax nodded his head and said to Darbaudr with a slight smile on his face.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for completing the mission ’Become the King’.

’Ding,

A special reward box has been sent to the host’s inventory. Please check.

’Ding,

A two-minor realm energy orb is sent to the host’s spirit consciousness.

Soon, the much-awaited system notification rang in his head that made him heave a sigh of relief.

”Since the conflict, it is peacefully resolved. Everyone can go back to your works,”

Ajax was not in a hurry to check the special gift box in front of everyone as he asked the Snow lions to go back to their home.

”Young master, our home….it is destroyed by his subordinates,”

Snow Lion King hesitated for a moment and pointing his paw at Gaimont, he replied to Ajax.

’...’

Gaimont had black lines on his wyvern face as he looked at the Snow lion king.

”It’s all in the past. If you don’t mind, you can live in his territory as compensation of what he did to you. He will take care of you,”

Ajax thought for a moment before saying to the snow lions and looked at Gaimont, ”Isn’t that right, Gaimont?”

”Sure”

Gaimont had no problem with that as his territory had fewer spirit beasts anyway.

”Young master...”

Both the big snow lions were a little hesitant to stay in Gaimont’s territory as they looked at Ajax and indirectly said they could not.

”Don’t worry. He will not harm you in any way. Moreover, you can’t find a new peaceful place in a short time. So, just stay in his territory and re-cultivate into humans using your son’s re-cultivation technique,”

Ajax’s words convince them to nod their heads.

As long as they were of the same species, the spirit beasts could use the same re-cultivation technique and become a re-cultivated spirit beast.

Since the baby snow lion king had successfully re-cultivated, he could share the cultivation technique with his parents.

”Good”

Ajax nodded his head at the snow lions and then looked at Gaimont before saying, ”Go back to your territory, I will come to your territory after a couple of days.”

Currently, he didn’t have the time to check Gaimont’s territory as he needed to go back to the squad building. So, he asked Gaimont to go back.

”Okay,”

Gaimont nodded his head and along with the snow lions, he went back to his territory without saying more than a single word.

He didn’t ask Ajax when he would help him become a pure dragon or anything.

’Did I just form a contract with one of 12 spirit beast kings that rule the inner section of the cursed wilderness?’

Seeing the silhouette of Gaimont, Ajax was still unable to believe whether it was real or not as he muttered to himself.

He already felt that by having Darbaudr at his side, he could feel from any unexpected assassinations; however, now his head was a contracted spirit beast that was more powerful than him.

’Looks like, my chances of destroying the assassin sect has just increased by a huge margin,’

Ajax felt excited and he thought, ’I think, I don’t even need a year to destroy it.’

He felt that as long as he nurtured the spirit beasts in Gaimont’s territory, he could easily win against the assassin sect.

’Moreover, if other powers try to help the assassin sect, I will destroy them along with it,’

Ajax was excited for the time to pass because he wanted to destroy the assassin sect as soon as possible.

’Let’s go’

Soon, he mounted the brown eagle and started flying back to the squad building.
