New Age Of Summoners

”It will not help you,” The black-robed man said in an eerie voice as he allowed Ajax’s inheritance sword to pierce through him, while he continued to slash his black dagger at him.

’Holy heavens’

All of a sudden, Ajax felt the time around him slow down as he felt like his death was approaching.

’Swoosh’

’Devour’

Just when he was about to be slashed by the black dagger, Ajax saw a cloud of black smoke coming out of his own body and at the same time, he heard a familiar voice.

’Zap’

Before the black smoke in front of him could be completely materialized, Ajax noticed the black-robed man that was about to kill him also turned into black smoke before mixed into the black smoke that came out of Ajax’s body.

’Swoosh’

Soon, the black smoke materialized into a familiar black-robed elemental spirit that made Ajax both surprised and excited.

’Necros,’

As soon as he saw the materialized form in front of him, Ajax called out the name of the elemental spirit in front of him.

That’s right!

The elemental spirit that appeared out of nowhere was none other than Necros, who was supposed to be still cultivating in order to break through to the general realm.

’Ding,

The host’s elemental spirit killed an elite general realm undead assassin.

Gained 1000 units of the essence of nature.

Just as he called his elemental spirit, the system also sent the system notification which made him understand what these black-robed men were.

Moreover, at the same time, Ajax was surprised to see the 1000 units of the essence of nature.

’Hello, master,’

While he was still in shock after seeing the system’s generosity with the essence of nature, Ajax was awakened by Necro’s greeting.

”What is that?”

”Ajax has another elemental spirit?”

”I was already surprised very much with the previous shining white spear and I didn’t expect Ajax to have another elemental spirit,”

Both Lewis and Jeff continued to mutter with shocked faces when they saw the sudden appearance of the black elemental spirit that killed one of the black robe men with a single word.

”Oh...so, he finally recovered from the side effects of the strength potion,”

However, that could not be said to Levi because he had already seen the battle prowess of Necros. So he was not shocked much and surprised only a little bit.

As for Slait, an excited smile appeared on his face on his previously worried face.

’Huh? What is that? How can he absorb one of us into him?’

This was the only thought in the minds of the black-robed men as they were shocked to see what happened to one of their kind.

’Maybe, that elemental spirit was capable of devouring the death energy that is keeping us alive,’

The leader of the undead assassins transmitted his voice to the rest of his team which made all of them intently stare at the black elemental spirit in front of Ajax.

Moreover, it also made them wary about it which made them stop in their tracks and they were waiting for an opening to finish their target.

’As long as we didn’t kill our target, we can’t go back to the sect. If we can’t go back to the sect within the next 6 hours we will die. So, everyone, use as much energy as possible and don’t hold back your power. As long as we complete the mission, we can get back all our used up energy from the sect leader.’

Looking at Ajax, the leader of the undead assassins evaluated their situation because currently, they didn’t have their initial confidence.

That’s right! Without completing their mission, they could not enter the assassin sect, without the help of the assassin sect’s mysterious energy from the death god’s statue, they would disappear.

So, the leader of the undead assassins ordered his squad members to finish the mission at any cost.

’Yes,’

All the remaining 10 undead assassins nodded their heads in understanding.

”Did you complete your break through?”

Since there was no system notification regarding Necros’ breakthrough, Ajax asked the elemental spirit itself.

Earlier, when he was in the inner world, the system said that Necros was in the critical stage of a breakthrough. So, he asked, wondering what happened to his cultivation.

”Hehe”

When he heard Ajax’s words, Necros revealed his usual eerie smile and said only a single word, ’Break’

’Zap’

As soon as he said that, a huge amount of energy waves burst out of his body.

Along with the huge waves of energy waves, the black robe on Necros turned into purple and with each passing second the colour of that robe turned brighter and brighter as for the other changes, Ajax was unable to see with the huge energy waves that were blocking his sight.

’Now it’s done,’

The energy emitted from Necros didn’t last for much time before they disappeared into thin air and at the same time, Ajax heard Necros’ eerie voice.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host’s elemental spirit for breaking through into the general realm.

’Ding,

A new skill ’Soul Grimoire’ is awakened.

Just as Necros finished talking, Ajax received two system notifications regarding Necros’ cultivation and moreover, he also awakened a new skill because of the breakthrough to the next realm.

”Necros, can you take care of them?”

Even though Ajax was excited with the new skill and he wanted to check it, he knew he didn’t have time for that. So, he asked Necros to take care of those undead assassins.

”It’s been a while since I last fought someone. I hope they are good; otherwise, I will be bored to go back into the inner world once again without a good fight,”

Necros nodded his head at Ajax before glancing at the 11 undead assassins in the distance as he loudly spoke. So that they could listen to him.

As for Ajax, he casually walked towards Slait and others while keeping an eye on Necros and the other undead assassins.
