I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 798, Yan Hua’s Adorable Operation

After Yan Hua finished lunch, she prepared to go into the forest with Sha Lan. For no other reason than to capture White Foot Six Legged Insects.

Su Bai had discussed with Yu Ying for quite a while this morning, and finally made the firm decision to capture these insects.

Sha Lans had just finished training and returned to Restful Night Building to prepare for lunch, so he assigned them this mission.

The two left the Flame Dragon Tribe and came outside the Tribe to board a hot air balloon.

The hot air balloon slowly lifted into the air, flying continuously towards the depths of the forest, because deep in the forest, there was a very large flower field.

One must know that this place was a paradise for White Foot Six Legged Insects.

“Ah’Hua, do you think our Tribe can really raise White Foot Six Legged Insects?” Sha Lan asked doubtfully.

Sha Lan held a questioning attitude about this matter. She also did not know why the Shaman would develop such an idea.

However, she also felt it was quite normal for him to do so. After all, the honey produced by White Foot Six Legged Insects was truly delicious. It was not as though no one had thought of raising these creatures before.

Only raising these creatures was not simple, even though what they ate was very straightforward.

But getting them to obediently stay within the Tribe was an impossible task, so those people gradually gave up on this fantasy.

“The Shaman must have a method. If he doesn’t, he wouldn’t have us go catch these insects.” Yan Hua said with certainty.

Yan Hua had great confidence in Su Bai, because ever since he took over the Tribe until now.

The Tribe’s changes had been visibly rapid. If there truly were no method, he would not rashly dispatch them to do this task.

Because they had to train Warriors every day, and there were many other matters to attend to. If he dispatched them to do this task without being confident, would that not be wasting everyone’s time?

“That’s true. If it’s really like this, our Tribe will have an endless supply of honey to eat in the future,” Sha Lan said happily.

Sha Lan was not unfamiliar with the word ‘honey’, because Su Bai had explained it before.

“Only, how should we catch them and bring them back?” Yan Hua pondered seriously.

Yan Hua had been considering this from departure until now. How were they going to catch these White Foot Six Legged Insects and take them back to the Tribe.

“Didn’t the Shaman instruct us when we departed?” Sha Lan said.

“Right, right, right. And we also need to catch the insect queen and put it inside the boxes. Only then can we obtain an entire box of White Foot Six Legged Insects.” Yan Hua blinked her red eyes.

“I wonder how long we need to leave the boxes there?” Sha Lan asked curiously.

Sha Lan was somewhat impatient. She wanted to taste honey again. The last time she ate it seemed to be several years ago.

She had not eaten it for a very long time. She had almost forgotten what honey tasted like.

“Probably need to leave them for some time. Otherwise, those insects definitely won’t enter in large numbers,” Yan Hua speculated.

“That’s true,” Sha Lan said, swaying her cat tail.

*Whoosh whoosh whoosh…*

The hot air balloon continuously flew towards the depths of the forest. The destination was that flower field.

Over two hours later, the two finally arrived at that spacious flower field. This flower field was the very same one visited every year for the Pink Flower Festival.

Every year this place attracted large numbers of young men and women, who would then sing and dance in this flower field.

So every year, when the Pink Flower Festival arrived, the White Foot Six Legged Insects would also conceal their presence. It seemed like they clearly knew that the honey they produced was food everyone liked.

“This flower field is so beautiful.” Sha Lan instantly widened her blue eyes.

Sha Lan was visiting this flower field for the first time, so she was very moved by this flower field’s area.

Besides this flower field’s area, the main thing was the floral fragrance emanating from this flower field, and those multicoloured views as far as the eye could see.

“Indeed very beautiful. It’s really hard to believe those insects are still growing beneath this flower field.”

Yan Hua slowly descended from the hot air balloon and continued, “Only, how exactly do they produce honey?”

“The Shaman said it seems they all feed on pollen and honey. This flower field is their greatest Hunting Ground.” Sha Lan remembered Su Bai’s words very clearly.

Sha Lan was different from Yan Hua. When Su Bai was speaking, she had been listening very attentively throughout.

She feared missing any useful information. Yan Hua was different. Upon hearing of a new mission, her heart had long since flown away from the Flame Dragon Tribe.

Her mind was full of thoughts about hurrying to execute this mission. She had not remembered Su Bai’s words very clearly.

However, Su Bai was also clearly aware of this point, which was why this time he specifically had Sha Lan go together with her.

The partnership between these two was key. One very calm with very good memory, the other very brave and took most of the initiative.

“So that’s how it is. I didn’t expect that pollen could be eaten,” Yan Hua crouched down, half-understanding.

She slowly picked a nearby flower, then tentatively placed it before her mouth.

“You’re not really going to try the taste of pollen, are you?” Sha Lan looked at her in surprise.

“Yes. Since this honey all comes from pollen, that means this pollen must also be delicious,” Yan Hua unhesitatingly put the flower in her mouth.

“You…” Before Sha Lan could finish speaking, she was interrupted by the sound of someone spitting things out.

*Ptui ptui ptui…* Yan Hua frantically patted her tongue, saying with distaste, “This pollen is so awful. How could that honey possibly be produced from this?”

She now felt her tongue was extremely bitter. She somewhat regretted that she should not have been so rash in eating the flower just now.

“I already warned you. Have you forgotten what the Shaman said about processing? This definitely requires processing.” Sha Lan said, covering her mouth and laughing.

Sha Lan found her companion’s appearance very amusing. The way she kept sticking out her tongue was very cute.

“I really didn’t think this through enough…” Yan Hua said unclearly while continuously sticking out her tongue.

“All right. Right now, the most urgent matter is to quickly find their queen. This flower field is so large. Who knows how long it will take to find her?” Sha Lan urged.

The time had already reached the afternoon. There was not much time left for them to play.

“That’s true. I almost forgot the most important mission.” Yan Hua instantly retracted her tongue and became serious.

The two then began bending down to search through the flower clusters.
