I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 752, Changing One’s Thinking

“Should we find a time to leave this place?” Zhen glanced around the surroundings and asked.

He had harboured this idea for a long time already. Since those above did not value this Tribe, there was no need to force themselves to hold on.

In any case, forcing themselves to hold on would mean being destroyed sooner or later. Not only would the Tribe fail to develop, it would also be invaded by other Tribes.

After all, this Tribe’s geographical location was very awkward, right in the middle of the forest.

Moreover, this forest was most likely the Hunting Ground of other Tribes, because one could judge this from those Ferocious Beasts of all strange varieties and their numbers.

Also, from time to time, the Poison Moth Tribe would capture some people from other Tribes. All those captured were Totem Warriors.

All the above factors could confirm that this was most likely a Hunting Ground, and the original location here should have been a base for those previous Tribes.

It was just that it had been used by the people of the Dark Scorpion Tribe as a Tribe. Because of the inconvenience of travel, development naturally had no way of being very fast.

“If we leave, what about the people inside the Tribe? Should we just abandon them?” Shaman Wu asked.

Although he himself had only just become a Shaman not long ago and had only controlled this Tribe for just over a year.

Naturally, there was still room for improvement in all aspects. He also knew very well that this Tribe would have a somewhat difficult future.

He had not been without thoughts of leaving this Tribe in his heart, but in the end, he could not bear to. After all, it had gradually become a Tribe from having nothing here. This sense of achievement was quite satisfying for him. To abandon the Tribe he had worked so hard to establish was truly somewhat difficult to bear.

“Shaman, if we continue to consider them, then we will have no way out either,” Zhen said seriously.

He believed that those without Totem Power or who were not Warriors were unimportant. In any case, these people were everywhere.

Even if they brought them along when leaving, they would be a burden. It would be better to directly bring the Warriors along.

In this era, the importance placed on Warriors meant that no matter which Tribe they went to, they would be welcomed.

Why bother to continue guarding this barren Tribe? The key point was that there was no future for any development.

“If the people above find out, do you think we would still have a way to survive?” Shaman Wu spoke of the point he was most worried about.

Although the Dark Scorpion Tribe was a Tribe that primarily engaged in burning, killing, and plundering, the Tribe also placed great importance on loyalty.

If they discovered that subordinates they had worked so hard to cultivate had betrayed them, they would probably not easily let the matter rest.

They might even send out intelligence personnel to keep pursuing the investigation until they found out which Tribe they had joined.

What was serious was that they would destroy that Tribe, precisely to give these few traitors severe punishment.

“We can forge the appearance that this Tribe was destroyed. This way, wouldn’t we be able to leave?” Zhen suggested.

He had not been without thoughts of this outcome in his mind, so he had long since considered countless methods.

Thinking it over repeatedly, he still felt this method was most suitable. In the end, they could just randomly find a Tribe to frame.

In any case, there were plenty of large Tribes around. They just needed to name a Larger Tribe relatively far from the Dark Scorpion Tribe.

Even though the Dark Scorpion Tribe was a Large Tribe, they would not rashly make a move against another Large Tribe.

Making a move against a Large Tribe required paying a heavy price. Not only would it waste tremendous Human and material resources, but whether they could win in the end was another matter.

“Forge the destruction of this Tribe? You mean to kill all the people here?” Shaman Wu asked with a serious expression.

He still had the same thoughts as before. He had developed feelings for this Tribe’s transformation from nothing to something. If he truly had to kill all the Tribe’s people, he could not do it, much less would he agree to do so.

“Shaman, you cannot continue to be indecisive. If we continue like this, our Tribe will just be destroyed anyway. Why must we waste our lives here?” Zhen said excitedly.

He had not been without discussing this matter with the Shaman before, only each time it came to nothing.

But recently, the Tribe’s Warriors had been pressing with questions constantly. He felt he could barely withstand it any longer.

If one day those Warriors pressed too urgently, he might reveal the Tribe’s shortcomings and dangers.

This Tribe was just a Small Tribe. The people inside numbered only about a hundred.

A Tribe with only about a hundred people was truly very small, let alone with such a poor geographical location.

“Since we want to kill them, we must at least let them die with some value.” Shaman Wu’s expression changed.

Actually, he had not been without considering what the Chieftain said. At first, he naturally did not agree with this method.

But as time went on, his heart inevitably wavered somewhat. His age was not small either.

If he truly wanted to become a formidable Shaman in the future, he really needed to start planning for himself now.

“Die with some value? Does the Shaman have a good idea?” Zhen immediately became excited.

At the same time, he breathed a sigh of relief in his heart, thinking that the Shaman had finally been convinced. This way, there would be one more person to flee with.

The reason he had delayed fleeing all along was because one person would find it very difficult to survive in the forest.

Even though he was a Peak Early-Stage Totem Warrior, it was the same. If there could be one more person to look out for each other, that would be even better.

“Don’t the people above always want to expand the Tribe? Since we’re waiting here so bitterly, why don’t we take the entire Tribe and go,” Shaman Wu said seriously.

Zhen was stunned, momentarily unable to react. He asked, “Shaman, are you serious?”

The idea of taking the entire Tribe away was far too crazy, wasn’t it? Whether the Warriors could survive in the forest was one matter. Now, they even had to bring all the Tribe’s people along. This was a huge burden.

“You don’t understand this. We can invade some Tribes with better geographical locations. If we win, we’ll invade that Tribe.”

Shaman Wu paused for a moment, then continued, “If we don’t succeed, we haven’t lost anything either. We can directly return to the Tribe above.”

“The Shaman’s idea is certainly good, but why must we bring those burdens along?” Zhen asked.

He thought about it. This was another option. Even if the Tribe above found out, they would not pursue it.

In any case, the Poison Moth Tribe’s current geographical location was far too poor and its development prospects were limited. Being able to take a gamble to gain more benefits for the Dark Scorpion Tribe would be best.

Even if the Dark Scorpion Tribe found out, they might very likely not punish but rather reward them.
