I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 788, New Arrangements

“In which aspects?” Su Bai asked.

He wanted to know how the current Warriors differed from previous Warrior Trainees, so he could know how to arrange things in future. Because training needed to be arranged according to the Warriors’ different characteristics to further challenge them and drive progress.

“Mainly in movement speed and stamina. They are particularly good at these two aspects/” Yan Jiao said earnestly.

After watching this batch of new Warrior Trainees’ training results, he was somewhat shocked inside. He had originally thought this batch of young Warrior Trainees wouldn’t be that strong, yet the strength they displayed was astounding.

Training them using the previous methods for training Warrior Trainees, the strength they demonstrated was even better than the previous batch of Warrior Trainees.

“Movement speed and stamina? Are they all the same, or somewhat different?” Su Bai asked.

“The strength everyone displays on average is about the same. There hasn’t been anyone who stood out in terms of performance.” Yan Jiao said.

He had looked at that group of Warriors’ training results, and the results they displayed were all about the same. Whether it was stamina testing, strength testing, or agility testing, these people all performed about the same.

Although no one was particularly outstanding, compared to Warrior Trainees who had just awakened in the past, training to this level was already very impressive.

“I understand. Now, comparing the awakened Warrior Trainees with existing Totem Warriors, which side has more in numbers?” Su Bai asked.

Yan Jiao thought seriously and spoke, “There are currently two hundred twenty-three Warrior Trainees altogether and one hundred twenty-two Totem Warriors.”

He remembered these numbers particularly well, because they had been continuously increasing from when they left the Ancestral Land until now.

Originally there were only ten to twenty Totem Warriors and twenty to thirty Warrior Trainees, but now these numbers have multiplied by one or two times.

“There are one hundred twenty-two Totem Warriors? I remember previously it didn’t even reach one hundred people.”

Su Bai tapped the table with his index finger and continued asking, “Excluding Warriors currently on missions, how many Totem Warriors does our Tribe still have?”

“Excluding Ah’Hua’s two teams, those who went to the Sea Fish Tribe, and those who now don’t need to go to the hunting team…” Yan Jiao thought very carefully and continued reporting, “There are now seventy-two people left. These people can still be deployed by the Shaman.”

“Seventy-two people then. Have these people stay in the Tribe to prevent other Tribes’ people from ambushing our Tribe. Moreover, the Central Market still requires Warriors to maintain it,” Su Bai took a sip of tea.

Because the Central Market within the Tribe now also required many Warriors to maintain it. After all, many people from other Tribes came in every day.

Those people from other Tribes who came in were not all here to trade. Of course, they all used exchanging things as a pretext to enter the Flame Dragon Tribe to gather information.

So, there were many Warriors in the Central Market. Almost one Warrior stationed in front of each stall.

Naturally, these Warriors also had to train every day, meaning they took turns with those Totem Warriors.

After being replaced, they would go to the training ground to begin training.

“Understood. But there are now a lot of Warrior Trainees. Does the Shaman want to arrange new tasks for them?” Yan Jiao asked curiously.

He was thinking that since there were now so many Warrior Trainees, apart from training every day, they had nothing else to do.

Rather than letting them rest after training, it would be better to arrange other things for them to do.

After all, resting for just one or two hours after training was more than enough. There was still plenty of time left, which could be used.

“Haven’t many Warrior Trainees now been arranged to patrol outside with the Totem Warriors?” Su Bai asked.

He had only roughly assigned the tasks. The specific operations still depended on the Chieftain.

Because he still had many matters to handle, it was impossible for him to arrange every single thing in great detail.

“Twenty Warrior Trainees are arranged to go on patrol every day to let them experience things in advance. The remaining Warriors will be arranged in sequence for patrol duty at subsequent times.” Yan Jiao squinted his red eyes and continued, “Apart from that, they have no other tasks.”

“According to what you’re saying, we do indeed need to arrange some other tasks for them,” Su Bai said thoughtfully.

“Yes,” Yan Jiao immediately responded.

Su Bai took out paper and pen to write down the current number of Warriors and asked, “What about the Central Market? How many people are arranged there?”

Yan Jiao paused, then thought, “The same number as the Totem Warriors. They all stand beside the Totem Warriors.”

“Evenly distributing them this way, there are still many extra hands available. In that case, arrange for them to do transportation work,” Su Bai arranged.

“Transportation work? Is the Shaman referring to the transportation work for building cement houses?” Yan Jiao asked curiously.

“Not that. Aren’t we currently building a road leading to the farmland? The transportation work they need to do is for this.” Su Bai explained.

“I understand. It’s transporting away those trees cut down from the forest along the way, or some large stones, correct?” Yan Jiao guessed.

“Yes. This also counts as indirectly protecting the farmers, while simultaneously providing them with exercise.” Su Bai nodded.

If those farmers had to rely solely on themselves to transport those tall trees, it would definitely be very laborious and would also take up a lot of time.

Since those Warrior Trainees were currently idle anyway, why not make good use of their great strength?

“Indeed. The Warrior Trainees can first go help in the forest before training. That also counts as warming up,” Yan Jiao agreed with this arrangement.

“Besides that, assign a group of people to the Sea Fish Tribe. That place can train them even better,” Su Bai arranged.

The Sea Fish Tribe was also extremely important to him. This was also a time when many other Tribes would launch ambushes.

The Sea Fish Tribe didn’t have too many Totem Warriors, and Warrior Trainees were even fewer. At this time, Warrior Trainees could be arranged to go there to provide assistance.

Although their strength was inferior to that of Totem Warriors, they possessed weapons that other Tribes didn’t have.

This aspect alone was sufficient to overwhelm others, so dispatching them to the Sea Fish Tribe wouldn’t be too worrying.

“Is the Shaman worried that the Sea Fish Tribe will be invaded by others?” Yan Jiao asked.

“Yes. There are still over sixty days until the rainy season arrives. This is when other Tribes start to get restless/” Su Bai said softly.

“I understand. Leave these matters for me to arrange,” Yan Jiao responded.
