Su Bai taught Yu Ying to make some cumin powder, chilli powder and the like, all stored in small wooden barrels.

He had already taught the young woman to make chilli sauce before, and moreover, the quantity made previously was relatively large.

Now all that chilli sauce was piled under the cellar fermenting; after some time it could be taken out for use.

Chilli sauce in this era was a rare delicacy. If it were not for the System producing it, one really wouldn’t know where to find it.

Perhaps this era did indeed have plants similar to chilli peppers, only investigating and searching for them would take a great deal of time.

The Tribe was currently in the midst of rapid development and did not have so much time to search for plants that could substitute for chilli peppers.

Therefore, the items produced by the System had truly helped the Flame Dragon Tribe tremendously, particularly in the dietary aspect.

This made the entire Tribe’s food undergo a qualitative leap, no longer eating the previous plain boiled meat.

“Shaman, when the time comes to use them, can we directly take these out and dip them?” Yu Ying asked curiously. She looked at the bottles and jars filled with seasoning powder, somewhat curious about how exactly to use these.

“When the time comes, you only need to take out a little bit, dip the roasted meat in the powder.” Su Bai explained.

The eating method he spoke of was how they would eat roasted meat on Earth . Many people would put a large pile of cumin powder in a bowl. Otherwise, they would put some chilli powder, wrap the roasted meat in a layer of seasoning powder, then wrap it in a lettuce leaf.

“I see.” Yu Ying nodded thoughtfully, continuing to ask, “Shaman, you said we’re eating hotpot tonight. What kind of hotpot are we eating?”

Yu Ying still quite missed this pot that catches fire in her heart, wanting to see what exactly it was.

“We just need to prepare all the ingredients, then prepare an iron pot and pour water and seasonings inside.”

Su Bai’s mouth watered a bit thinking about it, continuing to say, “After this water boils, we can put the ingredients in to cook. After cooking, we dip in sauce and eat.”

Hotpot varieties could be said to be unlimited. However, the biggest variation was the different pot bases.

Some liked eating very spicy pots, while some preferred eating lighter clear soup pots. Some who were more particular would like to put some medicinal ingredients inside, or cook it in a tomato pot with a sweet and sour taste.

“Shaman, what ingredients exactly should I prepare? I’ll go prepare now.” Yu Ying was already somewhat impatient.

“Prepare whatever food you want to eat. Go and ask Ah’Hua and the others as well.”

Su Bai blinked his black eyes, continuing to instruct, “Additionally prepare extra tomatoes, chilli peppers and peppercorns. Today we’re eating a dual-flavoured pot.”

He could not be certain whether the girls all liked eating spicy food, so he wanted to additionally prepare a tomato pot base.

“All right.” Yu Ying enthusiastically ran out of the Yong’an Building.

*Step step step…*

Time passed minute by minute. The sky had also gradually darkened. Yan Hua naturally also finished training and returned to the Yong’an Building.

Because they had trained all day, their bodies were covered in the smell of sweat, so they ran to bathe first.

“Shaman, I heard this afternoon we’re eating hotpot tonight?” Yan Hua asked curiously.

This afternoon when she heard Yu Ying mention it, she had specially asked what hotpot was. The answer was unexpected to her as well.

“Shaman, what kind of food exactly is hotpot? Why is it called this name?” Sha Lan’s thirst for knowledge was suddenly aroused.

When she heard this name in the afternoon, she felt it was very novel. It was enough to cause her to be somewhat unfocused during training. Her mind kept anticipating the evening, so she could return to the Yong’an Building to eat hotpot.

Sure enough, after training ended, Sha Lan and Yan Hua did not linger in the slightest, galloping directly towards the Yong’an Building.

“Once we start eating shortly, you’ll know. It will surely leave you with a deep impression.” Su Bai said with certainty.

Hotpot as a type of food could be said to be liked by every household. After all, with the variety, one would always choose what they would like to eat. Not to mention in this Primitive Era without many delicious things, they would definitely be captivated by its taste.

*Step step step…*

Yu Ying happened to emerge from the kitchen carrying an iron pot, placing the iron pot on the fire pit.

This iron pot was from yesterday’s Assistance Package produced by the System, precisely a dual-flavoured pot.

It was precisely because he had obtained this dual-flavoured pot that Su Bai thought of eating hotpot. Having this tool, how could he not eat hotpot?

The dual-flavoured pot’s two sides respectively contained different soup bases. One side was filled with chilli peppers and Sichuan peppercorns as the spicy soup base, while the other side was filled with tomatoes as the sweet and sour base.

“This is hotpot? It looks like it will taste very good,” Yan Hua was attracted by the soup base’s colours.

The food eaten previously did not seem to be eaten like this. Although they had already eaten many novel foods.

But now seeing the hotpot’s soup base, they still felt very curious, giving one a feeling of greatly increased appetite.

“Quickly sit down.” Su Bai waved his hand, continuing to say, “One side is spicy, one side isn’t spicy. You can choose accordingly.”

Sha Lan looked at the hotpot somewhat stunned, asking puzzledly, “Shaman, do we directly drink this soup?”

“Ha ha ha ha. Of course not,” Su Bai smiled, continuing to say, “Put the food you want to eat into the soup base you want. After it’s cooked, take it out, dip it in sauce, and that’s all.”

Yu Ying at this moment happened to be distributing the sauces, explaining, “This is the sauce I just made tonight. Dipping the cooked food before eating will make it taste so much better.”

“Oh, oh, oh, all right.” Sha Lan still hadn’t quite reacted, receiving the sauce in a somewhat dazed state.

Yan Hua seemed to have already entered the state. One hand held the sauce, while one hand used chopsticks to pick up meat slices and place them into the spicy soup base.

After placing them, she watched earnestly, asking, “Shaman, how long do we wait?”

“Hmmm, well, if you want to eat anything else, you can continue putting it in. After everything is cooked, just pick it out to eat.” Su Bai also picked up a meat slice.

“…” Sha Lan reacted and also picked up meat slices to put in.

*Bubble bubble…*

As the iron pot on the fire pit was continuously roasted by the fire, the soup base inside the pot also boiled accordingly.
