Radiant Dragon’s Otherworldly Reincarnation

Vol 2 Chapter 39. I Missed You Too (1)

Patrick spoke with an indifferent expression.

“Go to Shaolin?”

“That is so.”

“With me.”

“I say so.”

At Jeong Seon’s confirmation, Patrick scratched his head and said.

“What is the matter?”

Let’s hear the reason first.

To Patrick of such a cocky attitude, Jeong Seon said.

“There will be a meeting of the Orthodox Murim in Shaolin.”

“For what matter? Did Demonic Practitioners cause a Blood Calamity in the Jianghu?”

“No, the Blood Cult and Demonic Cult are quiet. Especially the Demonic Cult is strangely quiet since a few years ago.”

“…….”

Must be so. It has to be so.

“The problem is the Unorthodox Faction.”

“Why them?”

Jeong Seon drank a sip of his share of tea and said.

“As you also know, the shadow of the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor still remains vividly in the current Murim.”

“Was that so? I didn’t know?”

Then just listen, you bastard.

Seeing that he thought it inwardly without letting words out of his mouth, Jeong Seon must be a Taoist indeed.

“The Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor died, but his disciples number over hundreds, and they are spread out across the world and active. Thanks to that, currently the Unorthodox Faction is stronger than the Orthodox Faction in the Jianghu.”

“Tsk tsk, it’s the end of the world. End of the world. Why did a world where we are pushed by Unorthodox bastards come?”

What Patrick said clicking his tongue was quite old-fashioned, but there was no error in the words themselves.

“Actually, everything is because of the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor.”

“Even so, he is just an Unorthodox bastard.”

“That is because you have never seen the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor that you can say so.”

“Ho, Sect Leader Jeong Seon must have seen him.”

“I saw. And….”

Jeong Seon sighed deeply and continued his words.

“I cannot forget either. Regrettably.”

It was in the duel with his master and the previous Sect Leader Yu Hong that Jeong Seon saw the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor.

No, could that really be called a duel?

The master’s skill was lacking nothing to be called a Sect Leader of the Nine Sects One Gang.

But the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor dealt with such a master as if playing with him and took his life.

Jeong Seon in his younger days vowed revenge seeing that duel and devoted himself to training vomiting blood, and now he came to possess skills surpassing the master of old times. However….

‘If I fight the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor now, would revenge be possible?’

Probably impossible.

The martial might of the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor shown while dealing with the master back then was too overwhelming.

Honestly speaking….

“If I fight the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor, I don’t know if I would be an enemy of three moves.”

“Hooo….”

“Actually, let alone the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor himself, even among the disciples he left, there must be several strong ones surpassing me.”

Patrick, who heard Jeong Seon’s words, thought inwardly.

‘Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor…. Looks like he is quite something.’

The name he heard most after returning to the Jianghu was Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor.

Not only Jianghu people but even just children on the street knew the name of Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor.

But he ignored it because no interest arose since he was already dead. But….

‘To the extent that this nobleman evaluates him like this?’

Jeong Seon’s skill is real.

If it is this level, he could win sufficiently even fighting the Imperial Sword Saint of the Empire.

That the word ’enemy of three moves’ comes out of such a Jeong Seon’s mouth was truly shocking.

‘Since it became like this, it’s a pity I didn’t see him.’

“Ahem, the story leaked for a moment.”

Jeong Seon coughed and said.

“Returning to the main point, what is problematic are the disciples of that Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor.”

“Didn’t you say the disciples number over hundreds? Why? Did they rally and create an Unorthodox Alliance or something?”

“Rally? No, right now they are rather doing the exact opposite action.”

“…….”

“They caused internal strife and are fighting among themselves.”

Patrick, who heard Jeong Seon’s words, thought for a moment and said.

“Isn’t it a good thing? Can’t we just leave them be to fight among themselves and die?”

“That is not necessarily so. Of course, the force itself might decrease somewhat due to internal fighting, but in other words, doesn’t it mean the forces of the Unorthodox scattered all over are gathering into one?”

“Hmm….”

“If things go wrong, the Hegemon Blade Sect led by the Heaven Breaking Martial Emperor might revive.”

“So? In the Orthodox Faction, are you suggesting gathering to revive the Murim Alliance?”

“…….”

“Uh? Really?”

Seeing the expression struck at the core, it seems to be true.

Then now the story connects into one.

“So you mean to create the Murim Alliance? The Murim Alliance I know?”

“Although you wouldn’t know much about the Murim Alliance….”

“…….”

You nobleman, I even took charge of the youngest Inspection Unit Leader in the Murim Alliance.

Although the term of office was the shortest ever.

Jeong Seon, who had no way of knowing what Patrick was thinking inwardly, spoke with a strong tone.

“To end the current Unorthodox-dominant Jianghu, the Murim Alliance is needed.”

Patrick scratched his head and said.

“I understand the intention. Eventually, gathering in Shaolin to create the Murim Alliance.”

“Correct.”

“And the Sect Leaders of the Nine Sects One Gang and Five Great Clans must have received instructions to gather as many Jianghu people as possible and seek cooperation.”

“…That is so.”

How did you know that?

At Jeong Seon’s suspicious gaze asking that, Patrick clicked his tongue and said.

“Tsk tsk tsk, if you pretend, you know. If you can’t even get a feel for that, what to do?”

“Ahem….”

“Anyway, Murim Alliance….”

“…….”

“Hmph, a nostalgic name.”

Jeong Seon thought seeing Patrick smirking.

When this human was born, the Murim Alliance would have already disappeared, so why does he speak like a person who experienced it?

“Well, I understand the reason. You say you will create the Murim Alliance to set the justice of Jianghu upright, there is no reason for me to stop you.”

“Oh….”

Indeed, although his actions may be frivolous, this man is a hero of the Orthodox Faction.

Can’t one know just by seeing him diligently defeating the Unorthodox and performing heroic deeds to the extent of getting the alias Evil-Breaking Swordsman?

“Thank….”

“Go safely.”

“…….”

“Buy a gift when coming.”

“…….”

“If you don’t buy, I’ll sulk.”

Jeong Seon raised his hand for a moment and restrained Patrick.

And after taking a deep breath for a moment, he made a serious expression and said.

“Are you not going?”

“Because I am a bit busy.”

“Well, even if I am not there, if the Great Kongtong Sect goes grandly, there will be no lack in representing the Orthodox Faction of Gansu Province. Then go and work hard. Don’t be cowed by kids like Shaolin or Wudang.”

“…Is that all you have to say?”

Meeting Jeong Seon’s gaze wanting something more, Patrick clenched two fists and showed them, saying.

“Fighting!”

He doesn’t know what it means.

But it seems sufficient for Patrick Schneider of the world to turn a person’s stomach upside down even if the meaning of words is not conveyed.

“Hey you…. ## #### ####.”

Seeing thick curses coming out of the Great Kongtong Sect Leader’s mouth.

* * *

[Hohoho. For now, stay here today and let us discuss again tomorrow.]

The person saying let’s go and the guy saying he won’t go.

The tense confrontation of these two was temporarily suspended by Sect Leader Go Seok-hyeon’s intervention.

Not to mention Patrick’s stubbornness, Jeong Seon was also quite desperate.

It is the revival of the Murim Alliance, no less.

Although well over 50 years have passed, it is an event where all Nine Sects One Gang and Five Great Clans gather in one place.

And the Abbot of Shaolin asked the Sect Leaders of each sect to rally as many Orthodox forces as possible and come up.

It is a natural thing.

Originally, the Murim Alliance is not composed only of the Nine Sects One Gang and Five Great Clans.

Other small and medium sects join in large numbers to form that force, and in the Murim Alliance of the prime, just the number of joined sects exceeded a thousand.

The advantage possessed by head count cannot be ignored either.

Naturally, how many sects one can recruit here and take to Shaolin leads to the position after the Murim Alliance is formed in the future.

For the Kongtong Sect to occupy a proper weight in the Murim Alliance, they had to take a sufficient number of sects.

Actually, filling the number is not difficult.

Including the sects established by lay disciples of the Kongtong Sect, they already recruited over 30 small and medium sects from various places in Gansu Province.

Now the important thing is quality, not quantity.

Numbers are sufficient, so they had to take at least one proper master.

But in Gansu Province, there were no sects possessing noteworthy masters other than the Kongtong Sect.

Except for only the Twin Dragon Sect.

Evil-Breaking Swordsman Patrick Schneider.

He is already a famous figure whose skill is proven in Gansu Province.

So for Jeong Seon, he must take Patrick.

“Whew…. How to persuade that dog mess?”

He knows it is wise to give up, but he is not in a position where he can do so.

It is truly a frustrating situation.

* * *

Meanwhile….

“Murim Alliance formation…. Ah. Damn, I have to go to this. It’s too wasteful a place to miss….”

Patrick was also worrying while pulling his hair.

“Then why don’t you go?”

When Persona spoke indifferently, Patrick shouted thunderously.

“If I could go, naturally I would have gone?! I’m doing this because I can’t go?!”

Actually, when he heard the words from Jeong Seon, Patrick clenched his fist inwardly and thought.

‘Good. Everyone’s dead.’

Putting aside the worry of ’Who?’ for now….

Revival of the Murim Alliance.

This was an opportunity Patrick, who wants to grow the Twin Dragon Sect into a famous Orthodox sect, absolutely did not want to miss.

If they join the Murim Alliance and become active, the Twin Dragon Sect can secure both justification and practical benefits.

There was a reason Radiant Dragon Great Master Jin Cheon of the previous life also entered the Murim Alliance and handled all sorts of troublesome work while being active.

Moreover, this time it is a newly reviving Murim Alliance.

In the previous life, when the Twin Dragon Sect joined the Murim Alliance, it was difficult to settle down due to the territoriality of sects already occupying a seat in front.

Although they settled down after undertaking work others were reluctant to do, resolving difficult tasks smoothly, and beating up humans picking fights whenever seen, it wasn’t easy.

But this time is different.

Murim Alliance reforming.

In other words, it means there are no sects occupying the front and exercising territoriality.

Of course, humans carrying big names like Nine Sects One Gang and Five Great Clans on their backs will act unluckily, but that can’t be helped….

The important thing is that in the newly formed Murim Alliance, they can start earlier than others.

Patrick is not one to not know how good an opportunity this is.

So he had to go.

This was too regrettable an opportunity to miss. However….

“Go all the way to Shaolin leaving the sect empty? How can I do that when I’m anxious?”

These are disciples who slept soundly without noticing even when assassins invaded just a while ago.

Leaving such disciples, where can he go?

“Ugh…. Sona? Can you protect the sect a little while I’m gone?”

“I get restricted by causality if I am apart from the Master for long?”

“No why?”

“I am a divinity, you know?”

“Didn’t you say you’re entering the empty spot of the turtle bastard in this world? Not doing Four Gods? Haven’t settled down yet?”

“Is that easy? Uncles told me not to be hasty and wait.”

“Telling me to wait when I’m dying of urgency is the forty-first thing I hate….”

“Whose master is he to have so many things he hates?”

“Ahem!”

Not a compliment.

Persona sighed small and said.

“Then how about summoning one more new person this time? Causality is also sufficient now, right?”

At Persona’s words, Patrick stopped pulling his hair and agonized.

“New summon…. Tsk, it’s a problem because the summoned target is completely random.”

Patrick summoned Oliver first and then summoned Sanson next.

But after that, he only accumulated causality for 3 years and did not summon a new person.

The reason was….

“When I don’t know what the country’s situation is now, what if I summon an important figure unknowingly?”

It was precisely for this reason.

For Patrick, the Schneider Duchy is also important.

He already pulled out two important forces of the Knightly Order called Oliver and Sanson.

Of course, even if those two are absent right now, there won’t be an abnormality in the safety of the Schneider Duchy, but it is true that force leaked.

“If Duke Krupa gets picked when summoning a person this time.”

“…Does a problem arise if that person comes?”

“It does. Without that nobleman, only suckers remain in the country!”

Patrick was horrified just thinking about it.

Let’s assume Duke Krupa is gone and only humans shouting Yes to whatever the father says remain.

Then what will become of the country?

‘I see it taking less than 3 years to ruin the national finance.’

A figure more important than a 7-Star Knight in the Schneider Duchy.

That was Duke Krupa.

“But if it goes like this, there is no way.”

“That is….”

“And since some time passed since summoning Sanson last, aren’t you curious how the Duchy is running these days.”

“…Uh?”

Suddenly I became acutely anxious.

Whether my father is ruining national finance or not because his heart hurts at the news that unrelated children on the other side of the continent are starving….

‘It’s something that can sufficiently happen?’

“N… No good. I have to summon no matter who comes out.”

Thus, Patrick decided to summon a new figure after a long time.
