Radiant Dragon’s Otherworldly Reincarnation

Part 2, Chapter 3. Just Heal Himmmmmm! (1)

Birds of a feather flock together.

What does this mean?

It means, ‘Grass color and green color are the same color, so aren’t we on the same side?’

It’s a saying.

When do the Green Forest members use this phrase?

They mainly use it when they get involved with a powerful expert from the Unorthodox Alliance whom they can’t handle.

We didn’t recognize you and were rude.

But since we are both from the Unorthodox Alliance, please give us a break.

It’s a kind of slang used to express this sort of intention.

In other words, it’s a phrase used to beg for their lives from a fellow Unorthodox Alliance member, but….

WHACK! WHACK! THWACK!

Patrick was on top of the guy named Im Dal or Su Dal and was furiously rotating the man’s face left and right with his fists.

“You baaastard! How dare you treat the great, fair, and just Radiant Dragon Great Master of the great Twin Dragon Sect like some Unorthodox Alliance member? Huh?!”

“Keo-heok…. My mistake. I… I….”

“Green? Greeeeen! You want me to show you how I treat those truly green-green bastards?”

“Keeeeeeuk….”

* * *

“Huh?”

“What is it? Great Warrior Tutan.”

“I… I felt the presence of something terrifying and evil.”

* * *

“Sa… save the Chieftain.”

The Green Forest bandits stepped forward to save their chieftain, who was being pitifully beaten by the evil, color-eyed man.

In their hands were bows, spears, and iron nets.

Even experts they wouldn’t dare to face one-on-one could often be captured by taking advantage of equipment and numbers like this.

But today was not their lucky day.

“Sona.”

“Yes. Yes. I understand, Master.”

In place of her master, who was preoccupied with beating someone up, Persona stepped forward.

She drew a massive saber from behind her back, a weapon larger than her own height.

Though tall, she had a slender frame, yet she lifted the enormous saber, which seemed too large for her to wield, with one hand as if it were light.

And then….

[ Dragon King Demon Slaying Saber: First Form: Tyrant Dragon Single Flash ]

The past three years.

She hadn’t been idle either.

She had diligently trained in the Five Tiger Severing Gate Blade that Patrick had taught her, and by modifying it to suit herself, she had finally created her own martial art, which could be called a signature technique.

Eventually, she even received a license from Patrick, allowing her to recognize it as the official saber art of the Twin Dragon Sect.

What was created in this way was….

The Saber of the Dragon King that slays demons.

The Dragon King Demon Slaying Saber.

Its first form, Tyrant Dragon Single Flash, was a technique focused on destructive power.

It was a magnificent strike that didn’t bother with trifles and simply swung once to blow away the enemy, no, enemies, in front of her all at once.

CRASH!

The saber qi that exploded over a wide area in front of them swept away the bandits in one go.

“Hmph.”

Persona had a faint smile on her lips and was about to elegantly sheathe her saber.

But….

“Kuk, that bitch is an expert too!”

“Don’t let your guard down! Raise your shields.”

“Bow… what are you guys with the bows doing? Shoot, I said.”

The scene before her was a little different from what she had expected.

“Huh?”

She looked at her saber and then back at the bandits in front of her.

It seemed like she had blown away about half of them, but the remaining half were still full of fighting spirit.

“This is strange.”

It was the Tyrant Dragon Single Flash infused with 3-Star level of internal energy.

Normally, it should have swept away all those bandit scoundrels at once….

“Why? Are they okay?”

In the meantime, the bandits started shooting arrows at her, and she swung her saber once more.

CRASH!

The brilliantly exploding saber qi swept away the bandits in one go….

“Huh? Saber qi?”

Strange.

This time, she had infused 5-Star level of internal energy.

Normally, it should have formed saber gang qi, not just saber qi.

So why was only saber qi being released?

“Master?”

“What?”

She called out to Patrick, who was still frantically beating up the chieftain.

“My martial arts are broken.”

“……”

The expression on Patrick’s face clearly showed his thought, ‘And this is my disciple.’

And he let out a heavy sigh and said.

“Circulate your qi… no, just try spreading your sense of qi into the atmosphere.”

“Why…. Alright.”

Persona, who was about to say ‘Why?’, quickly changed her words when Patrick raised his hand.

And after opening her sense of qi to check….

“Wha… what? This is.”

The density of qi in the atmosphere was unbelievably thin.

It was a third of the Continent of Pangemonia’s, no, it wasn’t even a fifth of it.

It was only natural that the power of her attacks would decrease in this state.

“Master. What on earth happened here?”

WHACK!

Persona asked Patrick.

While doing so, she struck back at a bandit scoundrel who fearlessly thrust a spear at her.

“By my standards, the Continent of Pangemonia has an abnormally high density of qi.”

CRACK.

Patrick kindly explained the difference to his disciple.

While doing so, he also shattered the shinbone of some nameless bandit scoundrel.

“If the qi density is this low, the power of martial arts will decrease, won’t it.”

“It’s inevitable.”

“But this is severe, isn’t it? It’s difficult to even manifest my true form.”

“Get used to it. Although the qi density is low, the martial arts of this world have developed more efficiently through repeated research.”

“So it’s a development born out of necessity?”

“That’s right.”

“I see, I understand.”

It was a truly ordinary and peaceful conversation between a master and disciple.

CRACK! THWACK! CRUNCH!

“Kuaaak!”

“My eye! My eeeeye!”

“Aaaaaahk!”

Well, from the perspective of the bandits being beaten by these two, the situation might have been a bit different.

A moment later.

Ting.

[Directive Complete]

You have subjugated the bandits.

Gained 50 Causal Law.

Current Causal Law: 450.

Patrick looked at the blue, translucent directive window that appeared before his eyes with a look of utter emptiness.

Looking around, the bandits from the Black Snake or Black Rice Stronghold were all collapsed and groaning.

There wasn’t a single person with all their limbs intact, and especially those who seemed to be skilled in martial arts had their dantians thoroughly shattered.

Only after such meticulous cleanup did the window indicating the completion of the directive appear.

“Sona.”

“Yes. Master.”

“You said just by being here, our Causal Law is consumed, right?”

“That’s right.”

“How much is consumed per day?”

“It probably costs about 10 Causal Law per person.”

“So for two people, it’s 20 a day….”

Patrick looked up at the sky with a truly pitiful expression.

“My father isn’t here, my master isn’t here, and even my mother isn’t here….”

Patrick said forlornly.

“That I have to voluntarily play the sucker.”

Thick tears streamed down his cheeks.

[Are you that upset about doing a good deed? Is it something to be so mournful about?]

“Be quiet. This is all your fault, Master?!”

[What did I do?]

“Ah, I don’t know. It’s all your fault, Master. Take responsibility!”

Patrick threw a tantrum at the sky, and Persona looked at her master with pity in her eyes.

* * *

Patrick moved west.

Starting from Liaoning Province, he ran through Hebei, Shanxi, and Shaanxi to Gansu Province in one go.

Along the way, if he found bandits or thieves, a directive would be issued, and he had to eliminate them, but other than that, he focused solely on moving west.

His disciple, Persona, pleaded with him to rest a bit, but Patrick didn’t listen.

“You can rest for a lifetime when you’re dead, so what’s the point of resting.”

“I don’t die. I’m immortal, you know.”

“Shut up!”

Patrick suppressed his disciple’s complaints and continued to move.

In truth, he couldn’t hold it back any longer.

His hometown.

He felt he wouldn’t be satisfied until he confirmed what had become of the Twin Dragon Sect, which could be said to be everything to the Radiant Dragon Great Master.

‘I asked the bandits I caught along the way, but none of them knew about the Twin Dragon Sect.’

At the very least, it was probably not as renowned throughout the Murim world as it was when the Radiant Dragon Great Master, Jin Cheon, was alive.

But….

[Sir, are you perhaps referring to that small sect in Tianshui County, Gansu Province?]

[Oh, yes, there. That’s the one. How is it? Doing well? Are they making a lot of money?]

[Cough, cough…. Let go of me….]

[Tell me.]

[I don’t know the details either. I’ve only heard rumors that such a place exists.]

One of the bandit scoundrels he had recently dealt with finally knew of the Twin Dragon Sect’s existence.

He couldn’t describe how his heart pounded at that moment.

It still remained.

There were grateful people who had protected the grounds of the Twin Dragon Sect for 200 years.

‘Wait for me, my descendants. Your Grandmaster, no, Great Grandmaster… Great-Great Grandmaster(?). Well, I’ll figure out the lineage when I get there, but anyway, I’m coming.’

No matter what state it was in, just the fact that it existed was something to be thankful for.

200 years was a long enough time for even a massive sect to be unable to withstand the winds of time and disappear.

But to think the Twin Dragon Sect was still around.

Honestly, for Patrick, who hadn’t expected much, it was a pleasant surprise.

Patrick glanced up at the sky.

“You’re happy too, right, Master?”

[Hohoho….]

It seemed that for the first time in a long while, the master and disciple were of the same mind.

And so, he moved and moved, and….

“I’ve finally arrived.”

Patrick looked at the familiar yet unfamiliar street scene and let out a sigh.

Tianshui County in Gansu Province.

This place, too ambiguous to be called a city and yet a bit too large to be called a village, was the home of the Twin Dragon Sect.

“So this is your hometown, Master.”

“Yes. This is it.”

Patrick looked at the street before him with a wistful expression.

Although much had changed over the 200 years, traces of the past still remained.

‘That alley…. That’s where I first met Master.’

He still remembered.

That bitterly cold winter.

That day when the whole world seemed like an enemy.

Master had extended his hand.

He had taken him, who was on the verge of freezing to death, and fed him a bowl of warm porridge.

‘Master….’

Memories bloomed with every step.

That place was a shop that sold disgustingly bad noodles.

But because it was cheap, he frequented it.

Now, it has turned into a brothel.

And the cloth shop next to it had now turned into a gambling den.

The apothecary that the Twin Dragon Sect used to trade with next to it… oh, that had turned into a brothel too?

‘Wait, why is the atmosphere of the street like this?’

The Tianshui County in Patrick’s memory was a moderately developed area, but it wasn’t such a bustling entertainment district.

It wasn’t that there were no brothels, but it wasn’t so prosperous that there was one every other house like this.

And above all….

“Hey there, big brother, come into our shop.”

“Won’t you spend some quality time with me today?”

“It’s Strong Essence Precious Wine, shipped directly from Jiangnan. There’s only one cask left.”

Uh….

Was this neighborhood always like this?

It used to be a quiet and peaceful place, but now it looked like a bustling street in Hangzhou.

“Master. Was this place always like this?”

“No, it was much quieter in the old days.”

“Hmmmm….”

“Well, time has passed….”

Patrick simply glossed over his disciple’s question.

Yes, he could understand.

‘Come to think of it, it’s not necessarily a bad thing, right?’

If there were many brothels and gambling dens nearby, a lot of money would circulate, and the county would continue to develop.

The development of one’s territory is a good thing for any sect.

Although the direction of that development seemed a bit ambiguous, but still….

“It’s okay. It’s okay. I can understand everything.”

Comforting himself like that, Patrick quickened his pace.

Now, if he turned right at that road and went around, there would finally be….

“Ah!”

A gasp escaped Patrick’s lips.

The Twin Dragon Sect.

The home where he and his Master had lived.

His spiritual home.

The foundation of the Radiant Dragon Great Master.

This place stood firm against the winds of time.

If anything, it seemed to have gotten a little bigger.

Moreover, the building looked sturdy as if it had been well-maintained, and the path in front was also neatly swept.

“These guys…. They’re doing well.”

[Hohoho. What were you worried about? Did you not believe that your descendants would do well on their own?]

“Hahaha. You’re right. I guess I worried for nothing, Master.”

[I believed in them.]

“Hahaha. Right? Me too.”

In truth, he had been worried about many things.

Couldn’t such a thing happen?

He had even considered the worst-case scenario where the sect was in shambles and he would have to run around and struggle all by himself to revive it.

But that was a needless worry.

Even in the storms of 200 years, the Twin Dragon Sect was this steadfast….

CRASH!

“Whoa!”

It was then.

The door in front of Patrick shattered, and a man was thrown out.

‘What’s this? Is he someone who challenged the sect and got his ass kicked?’

But for that to be the case, the appearance of the man who was sent flying seemed too much like a commoner.

No, why would an ordinary commoner be thrown out of the Twin Dragon Sect?

Patrick’s question was answered immediately.

From inside the sect, a muscular, burly man walked out with twin axes in his hands and said….

“Hey, Mr. Jang, if you borrowed money, you should pay it back, right? Huh?”

Huh?

These words….

So, could this be?

It was then.

The man who had been sent flying first quickly got up, prostrated himself, and said tearfully.

“I will pay it back. I will definitely pay it back. So please, spare my daughter. She is still an innocent child who thinks she will die if she leaves her mother’s side.”

“That’s none of my business. You know very well what happens if you go against our Twin Dragon Gang in this Tianshui County, right?”

“Oh, sir, please, just have mercy on me this once. I beg you like this.”

“That’s why I…. Huh? Who are you?”

The muscular bald man finally noticed Patrick and scowled, threatening him.

Regardless of that….

“Uh…. Uh-buh…. Uh-buh-buh….”

The great Radiant Dragon Great Master.

The great hero, the Double Dragon, who had cut off the Heavenly Demon’s head and saved a world.

He was speechless, his mouth agape.

He hurriedly raised his head to check the sect’s signboard, and there….

[Twin Dragon Gang]

So, a signboard that read ‘Twin Dragon Gang’, not ‘Twin Dragon Sect’, was hanging there.

So this… this was that….

Patrick asked cautiously.

“Did… did you guys happen to change your profession to the Black Way?”

“Huh? What? Who the hell are you?”

“Kk… keuuuuk.”

Patrick couldn’t answer.

He could only clutch the back of his neck and fall over.

And just before he passed out, what he saw was….

[Kk… keuuuuk….]

It was the sight of his Master in the sky, clutching the back of his neck and falling over just like him.
