Radiant Dragon’s Otherworldly Reincarnation

Chapter 355. It Is His Revenge (4)

Katherina and Persona defeated Jonsa.

In fact, considering their combat power, this was entirely possible.

The reason Patrick entrusted that place to Persona was that he trusted her strength, which he had personally trained.

On top of that, he left Katherina, who had awakened the myth-grade skill called Spirit Transformation.

The dead Jonsa would be very aggrieved to know this, but Patrick never thought that those two would lose to a mere black mage in the first place.

However, the situation on the 2nd floor was not very good.

“Huff…. huff….”

Her shoulders heave unavoidably with rough breaths.

Her whole body is full of cut wounds here and there, and flowing blood is already wetting the floor.

April Schneider.

It might be the first time she, who virtually led the Schneider Duchy in Patrick’s absence and engraved her name on the continent, had been beaten up this badly.

But the fighting spirit in her eyes did not dim in the slightest.

“Impressive.”

“Even in our era, there was no female master of that level.”

“I almost want her as a disciple.”

The elders of the Demonic Cult genuinely admired her.

Once the battle began, the war situation flowed one-sidedly.

First, Riman Ciera was hit by a blow and flew backward, crashing.

With that one hit, Riman became incapacitated.

And the next one to be defeated was the brave Orc warrior Tutan.

Tutan fought bravely wielding the unique jet-black stone sword of the Orcs, but….

“Hahaha. You have good toughness. Very good.”

“Wooooaaaaaaah!”

The 3rd Elder of the Demonic Cult, Blood Ocean Killing Ghost.

He dodged the attacks as if toying with Tutan and landed attacks successively.

Tutan tried to hold out as much as possible with the Orcs’ unique durability, but eventually reached his limit and collapsed.

Elione summoned a high-ranking spirit and checked the enemy with her specialty, the bow, fighting as well as she could, but even she was neutralized the moment the Poisonous Heart Ghost Demon’s blow landed on her body.

The Guardian of the Tower of Truth, Kenonier Gras, still held out for quite a long time.

Using the secret technique of the Soul Weapon, he could move with lightning-like movements.

In terms of speed alone, he was a formidable opponent even for the elders of the Demonic Cult.

However….

“Hohoho, trying to compete with movement techniques in front of this old man….”

Yin Wind Godly Demon.

As the 6th Elder of the Demonic Cult, he was the one who proved to be the best in the Demonic Cult of his time with his movement technique alone.

His movement technique was so fast and secretive that Kenonier, moving at lightning speed, was hard-pressed to respond.

Eventually….

“Kaaargh!”

Hit by a powerful penetrating force that felt like it severed his internal organs, he collapsed just like that.

As a result….

“Now you are the only one left.”

“Hohoho. The young child is quite something.”

“Looks like a Heavenly Martial Body.”

Currently, April was the only one standing on two feet on the 2nd floor.

Truly the worst situation.

But even in this situation, she was thinking calmly.

‘Let’s not get excited. No one is dead.’

It wouldn’t be a coincidence.

She didn’t know the reason, but they were keeping the allies alive when they could have easily killed them.

In other words, the goal is capture.

If she exploits that part well, there is still a chance of winning.

“It seems vain hope has not disappeared.”

A voice was heard.

Right behind April’s back.

Before the thought of danger could even occur, her body reacted.

Throwing her body forward, she twisted as if her waist would break and swung her sword towards the faint presence felt in the rear.

A flash sharper than a thread split the space into dozens of pieces.

But….

“Hohoho. Excellent. Truly excellent.”

The opponent leisurely dodged such an attack from April.

April clenched her teeth and tried to rush in one more time, but there was no time.

“Hahaha. Let’s play with me too.”

A sturdy old man with a fluttering red beard rushing from the side with his fists clenched attacked April fiercely.

Asura Demonic Fist.

Asura Wild Dance.

The fists, wrapped in dark red Force Energy and extending randomly in disorder, looked messy, but the power contained in them was formidable.

Even Tutan, the sturdiest among her companions, couldn’t withstand it and was knocked out.

[ Twin Dragons Eight Sword Forms: Fifth Form: Dragon Scale Whirlwind ]

April did not take it lightly and chose the most perfect defensive form she could perform.

The whirlwind of Force Energy wrapping around her body deflected the enemy’s attack.

But….

“Hoho, complacent.”

“Shall we end this?”

The elders of the Demonic Cult, seeing April jump into the air as the whirlwind of Dragon Scale Whirlwind cleared, expertly aimed for her.

Because they knew well from experience that this type of defensive form always revealed an opening after being deployed.

However….

‘Got you.’

April was indeed April.

As if waiting for the elders of the Demonic Cult to aim for her, she unleashed her trump card.

Unlimited Overflow.

A reckless Aura Blade spewed out from her sword, and its power was enough to make even the elders of the Demonic Cult flinch momentarily.

April did not miss that gap and delivered a critical blow.

[ Twin Dragons Eight Sword Forms: Second Form: Great Dragon Cross Sword ]

A giant cross-shaped slash engulfed the elders of the Demonic Cult who had jumped up to attack her.

‘Got them.’

Truly a decisive move.

April judged that she could finish off at least three of them with this attack.

Although the aftereffects of deploying Overflow would remain in her body, it was unavoidable against such strong opponents.

But….

“Move.”

The 1st Elder of the Demonic Cult, Heavenly Killing Sword Demon, who was watching quietly from behind, drew his sword.

And then….

[ Heavenly Demon Divine Art: Heaven-Breaking Single Flash. ]

The moment he swung his sword, a streak of Sword Strength flew and collided head-on with April’s attack.

Kwaaaaaang!

A terrifying explosion and a shock that shook this space.

April landed on the ground, frowning, and glared at the opponent.

‘To think he blocked this.’

It was an attack with all her might.

But it was blocked.

“Thanks to you, I lived, Heavenly Killing.”

“Hmm, an amazing child.”

“Hohoho, how long has it been since I felt this chill.”

“Uhahaha. Isn’t she a cool kid? Let’s play a little more.”

The moment the Blood Ocean Killing Ghost clenched his fist again and tried to rush at April….

“That’s enough.”

The Heavenly Killing Sword Demon stepped forward and stopped the Blood Ocean Killing Ghost.

“What do you mean?”

Then the Heavenly Killing Sword Demon said.

“It seems the match downstairs has been decided. The traitor seems to have died miserably.”

“Haa…. Lucky him. I was going to tear him into thousands of pieces myself.”

“And it seems the person upstairs has started to move as well.”

“……”

“Now there is practically nothing for us to do. Fighting with that child here is just a waste of time.”

“Hmm, my blood was boiling after a long time….”

The Blood Ocean Killing Ghost was very regretful.

And the other elders of the Demonic Cult had similar expressions.

But despite that, they all calmed their fighting spirit.

They did not intend to go against the authority of the 1st Elder.

But….

“Who says it’s over?”

April’s fighting spirit had not yet subsided.

She only thought of defeating the enemy in front of her somehow and helping her beloved Patrick.

No matter how disadvantageous the situation, as long as Patrick was involved, the option of giving up did not exist in her mind.

To her, the 1st Elder said.

“Child. Stop it.”

“Are you scared?”

“Of course I am scared.”

“……?”

It was an unexpected answer.

As April was flustered, the 1st Elder said.

“If you continue any further….”

The 1st Elder continued with a cold chill on his face.

“I am not confident that I won’t kill you.”

“……”

April bit her lower lip tightly.

She knew better than anyone that those words were not a bluff.

The 1st Elder stroked his beard and continued.

“Failing to carry out his command is more fearful to us than death.”

“……”

What should I do?

What should I do?

It might be cowardly, but if the enemy intends not to kill her, she could use that point to rather….

“Let’s stop.”

It was then.

Riman Ciera, who had forced himself up at some point, spoke.

Riman spoke with blood flowing from his mouth.

“Riman, you…. are you okay?”

“I can endure. More importantly….”

Riman sighed regretfully.

He was the first to fall, but he was still conscious.

In fact, he could have gotten up.

But he didn’t do so on purpose.

Thinking that his skills would only hold back his allies, he was waiting for an opportunity while lying down.

But….

‘That was also impossible.’

Even if he just thought about gathering Primordial Mana, a killing intent as cold as a blade hacked at him.

As if telling him not to even think about trying any funny business.

‘In the first place, the difference in power was insurmountable.’

If there was a fortunate thing, it was that the battle here was not a match that decided victory or defeat.

“We must spare our bodies now.”

“But….”

“Being stubborn won’t help Patrick.”

“……”

“You have to live to be of help.”

Those words made April lower her sword.

As she lowered her sword, the 2nd Elder of the Demonic Cult, Yin Yang Demonic Lord, smiled and said.

“Glad you understand. Then quietly….”

“We have no intention of being restrained by you.”

Riman cut off the Yin Yang Demonic Lord’s words and intervened.

Then he frowned.

When he, with a strange impression that made it hard to tell if he was a man or a woman, frowned, the impression was very bizarre.

But Riman did not succumb to such pressure and casually pushed up his glasses and said.

“I will explain logically so you can understand easily.”

“…Logic?”

“Premise one. You received an order to subdue us without killing us.”

“……”

“Is that not so?”

“That is correct. But what does that matter to you….”

“Listen to the end. Premise two, if we resist to the end, you will not be able to carry out that order. This is a fact admitted by that person called the 1st Elder. Isn’t that right?”

“……”

What is this?

It feels like we’re getting caught up in something?

To the silent elders, Riman Ciera pushed up his glasses once more as if to show off and said.

“Conclusion, for you to carry out the order smoothly, you need our cooperation. In exchange for that cooperation, we refuse to have our personal freedom restrained.”

“What kind of bullshit is that!? You damn brat!”

The Yin Yang Demonic Lord shouted, bursting into anger.

But Riman Ciera….

“It is merely a result logically derived under correct premises.”

Did not back down.

His attitude was so confident that the elders of the Demonic Cult listening to the explanation also wondered, ‘Is that so?’

Seeing their expressions, Riman continued.

“I’ll tell you in advance, but we still have a few trump cards left. Isn’t that right?”

Then, there were those staggering to their feet behind Riman.

“That is true. If I intend to throw away my life anyway, I also have a trump card.”

The Guardian of the Tower of Truth, Kenonier.

In fact, he had no such thing as a trump card.

But….

‘I don’t know whose junior he is, but he’s quite smart.’

He had the sense to play along with that smart junior’s bluff here.

And then, a green giant also rose from a distance.

“I can still fight too. Resting while lying down made me feel better.”

And Tutan, who had collapsed, also rose.

He really looked okay.

The Blood Ocean Killing Ghost, who had personally neutralized Tutan, clicked his tongue and muttered, ‘Is he human?’

And the finishing blow was….

“What? Why is the atmosphere like this?”

“We will join now.”

It was Katherina and Persona, who had finished off the black mages on the 1st floor and came up.

Although they had consumed quite a bit of strength, they were ready to fight if they wanted to.

At that sight, the Yin Yang Demonic Lord frowned.

‘Like this, we really won’t be able to carry out the lord’s command….’

While he was pondering, the Heavenly Killing Sword Demon spoke first.

“Understood. We will accept your conditions.”

“1st Elder?”

“The words of that unlucky brat are extremely annoying to hear, but….”

Riman, receiving the Heavenly Killing Sword Demon’s gaze, pushed up his glasses and smiled triumphantly.

Then he sighed deeply and said.

“Regrettably, it is true.”

“Hmm…. Are you okay with that?”

“How could I be okay? My face is ruined after being toyed with by these brats.”

“Then….”

“But!”

The Heavenly Killing Sword Demon cut him off firmly and said.

“Our pride and the lord’s command. Is it worth weighing these two?”

At those words, the other elders also shut their mouths.

It was as the Heavenly Killing Sword Demon said.

Those two cannot even be compared.

Even thinking about it was blasphemy.

Having persuaded the elders, the Heavenly Killing Sword Demon said to April.

“Let’s call it a temporary truce.”

“…Alright.”

April had no choice but to accept.
