Radiant Dragon’s Otherworldly Reincarnation

Vol 2 Chapter 6. Let’s Try, Once Again (2)

This morning.

Persona, who saw Patrick wake up early, said.

“Master.”

“Why?”

“One of your eyes is swollen?”

“Really? Uh…. Somehow I couldn’t see out of one eye.”

One of Patrick’s eyes was indeed swollen.

“I have a guess.”

“What is it?”

“Recently, I bestowed a whopping ‘mercy’ on Black Way trifles.”

“Mercy?”

Persona thought for a moment.

[Aaaack. Noooo.]

[Just kill me instead!]

[You vicious bastard! Ack!]

The Twin Dragon Gang bastards were beaten to death by Patrick.

And finally, after destroying their dantians and severing their limb meridians, he made them write confessions detailing their crimes meticulously, received their signatures on them, and handed them over to the county office.

The voices of the bastards screaming at the end in the process of getting their souls completely robbed were still vivid.

“Mercy?”

To the disciple asking again, Patrick said.

“I let them live, you know?”

“…….”

“The Black Way loser trash.”

“…….”

“How merciful am I?”

“…….”

“The problem is, whenever I bestow mercy like this, inner demons always come to my eyes. Tsk tsk, this is why it’s not easy to live keeping chivalry. Not easy.”

“…….”

Persona just stopped thinking.

As expected, one shouldn’t evaluate the devil’s ecosystem with general moral standards.

And Patrick looked at his eye in the mirror and….

If I’m like this at the first meeting, I won’t have dignity. Don’t I look like I got hit by my wife?

He was saying such things.

So Persona sighed and said.

“Then what will you do? Will you go after your eye heals completely?”

“No, there is a way to maintain dignity besides that.”

“What way?”

“A long time ago, there was a certain prince born in an eastern country.”

“Suddenly what….”

“Listen. He was chased out in his childhood, but he overcame all kinds of adversity, made his own way, and eventually established his own country and smashed the country that chased him out. They say his dignity was so great it rivaled Dong Zhuo or Cao Cao.”

“So?”

“One should copy good things.”

***

And now.

Persona thinks while looking at Patrick, who is putting on a lot of weight (acting serious) with one eye covered by a golden eyepatch.

‘Should have stopped him.’

No matter how one looks at this, the atmosphere smells heavily of a scammer rather than dignity.

Look at reality.

“What? Who is this pseudo-drug-peddler bastard?”

For a pig, his eye is quite sharp.

Persona nodded without realizing it.

“Oho, it’s a demon.”

“What? This pseudo…. I don’t believe you. Get los….”

“Demons must be beaten to be cured.”

At the same time, Patrick’s figure disappeared.

And when they came to their senses again….

Thwack thwack thwack thwack!

Except for Hu Don, the rest of the thug bastards collapsed all at once.

“Uh… Uh… Uhhh….”

Hu Don realized.

This is a real master.

A real master of the Jianghu, on a different dimension from greenhorns who just attended a martial arts academy a bit and went around stiffening their necks extorting money from powerless merchants.

Leaving the frozen Hu Don alone, Patrick spoke to Mun Yul who was collapsed.

“Kid.”

“…Yes? Yes.”

“Carve it well into your eyes.”

“…….”

There was no need to ask ‘What?’.

Because Mun Yul would never be able to forget this sight shown next for the rest of his life anyway.

“This is the real thing.”

And Patrick’s body transformed into a single flash.

[ Twin Dragons Eight Sword Forms: Third Form: True Flashing Dragon Strike ]

Thwack!

“Kweeeek!”

The moment he was hit by the Flashing Dragon Strike, Hu Don flew out of the slum along with the sound of a pig being slaughtered.

***

Go Seok-hyeon.

He is the current Sect Leader of the Twin Dragon Sect.

Normally, it wasn’t his fate to become the Sect Leader of the Twin Dragon Sect.

Because when he entered as a disciple, there were over ten senior brothers above him in the Twin Dragon Sect.

Although the Twin Dragon Sect wasn’t a powerful sect shaking the Jianghu with its prestige.

Absolutely not.

Master said that long ago our Twin Dragon Sect also had a golden age where it made a name in the Jianghu, but honestly, it was hard to believe.

However, the Twin Dragon Sect was a local fixture boasting tradition and history settled in Tianshui County for a long time and the only Orthodox sect protecting this area.

Since there were no particular opponents to compete with, they were keeping their place reasonably well. But….

[Uhaha. Starting today, I will make this place my territory. If you cannot accept it, come out and confront me.]

Everything went wrong as Great Bear Twin Axes Kang Man entered this Tianshui County leading his subordinates.

Kang Man and his subordinates were strong.

At least more than the current Twin Dragon Sect.

They suffered a miserable defeat, and the Twin Dragon Sect was deprived of their base and chased out.

And the full-scale downfall of the Twin Dragon Sect began.

Master suffered deep internal injuries, suffered for a long time, and passed away.

And the senior brothers who should have succeeded him abandoned the sect one by one and left.

When the First Senior Brother left, he held onto him desperately.

[If even First Senior Brother leaves, what is our Twin Dragon Sect to do?]

[Give up. Hyeon. The Twin Dragon Sect is already finished.]

[First Senior Brother!]

[You stop too and go your way. Don’t do foolish things.]

Like that, everyone left and he remained alone.

Shouldering only one old signboard, he didn’t leave Tianshui County.

He remained alone to continue the sect’s lineage somehow and protected the sect.

While bestowing medical arts to the poor in the shadows of the slum, he kept his place somehow.

He also knew in his head.

That reviving the Twin Dragon Sect with his ability was impossible.

But is a sect such a thing?

Is it something one can discard so lightly and pretend never existed in one’s life?

He couldn’t do that.

Even if he became the last of the Twin Dragon Sect, he thought protecting that end until the last moment was the duty of one who received grace from the sect.

Therefore, he tried to keep his place until the end.

To such him….

[Master.]

An unexpected disciple appeared.

A boy he saved by chance clung earnestly asking to accept him as a disciple.

At first, he refused.

He didn’t think too seriously because he thought it was the whim of a young child yearning for the Jianghu.

Above all, he had no leeway to accept a disciple.

But the boy was sincere.

He came every day and begged earnestly, and found chores in the medical house to do while begging repeatedly.

Eventually, his heart wavered there, and he accepted the boy as a disciple.

The disciple was diligent.

He tried his best to understand his lacking teachings and didn’t neglect training.

Everything from innate talent to character was a good disciple undeserved for him.

Therefore….

He wanted to do it for such a disciple.

He wanted to leave the true martial arts of the Twin Dragon Sect to the disciple.

He wanted to leave at least the minimum power for the disciple to survive in this rough Jianghu even after he died. But….

‘I am sorry. Yul….’

He failed.

The price of that failure was approaching step by step every day in the form of death.

Death is not scary.

But it was just regrettable that he couldn’t leave anything to his precious disciple.

‘I am sorry. This master is lacking and couldn’t leave anything, so I am sorry.’

Go Seok-hyeon was dying slowly in such lamentation. However….

‘Hm?’

It was strange.

True Qi was entering his body from the outside.

Strong energy came in from the outside and was fixing his broken body.

“Tsk tsk tsk, you attempted the Twin Dragons Heaven and Earth Primordial Heart Law. How reckless….”

He was astonished instantly.

How does the opponent know that name?

That was a secret manual passed down secretly only to the Sect Leader and their direct disciples even in the Twin Dragon Sect.

More surprisingly, the path of Qi he operated was perfectly identical to the Twin Dragons Heaven and Earth Primordial Heart Law.

“Still, the vessel isn’t completely broken. Fortunately.”

While saying that, he operated the energy and started to correct his twisted dantian.

‘Who is it? Who is doing this?’

Did someone among the senior brothers who left long ago return?

To solve the doubt, Go Seok-hyeon opened his eyes with difficulty.

Then what he saw was a foreign man he was seeing for the first time flowing True Qi into his body.

“Who… Who are… you?”

“Let’s talk later.”

“…….”

“Focus on Qi circulation for now.”

And Go Seok-hyeon shuddered at the immense energy entering his body.

That energy corrected the qi meridians he thought were hopeless and started to return the form of the dantian to normal.

‘Unbelievable….’

This was a miracle.

***

“Um….”

Mun Yul, who was waiting outside the shanty, opened his mouth cautiously.

“Hm? What is it?”

Then the one who answered with a gentle smile was a peerless beauty so beautiful she seemed to shine just by looking.

Her black hair like ebony was smoother than silk, and her white skin looked like seeing the first snow falling in winter.

Her perfect features where no flaw could be found were so beautiful that he couldn’t bear to keep his gaze for long.

“Um…. How should I call you.”

“You can call me Senior Sister. We are fellow disciples.”

“Ah… Yes.”

Is that okay?

Can such a beautiful person be my Senior Sister? More than that, I haven’t heard that Master had such a fellow disciple. But….

‘The Flashing Dragon Strike just a moment ago.’

That gratifying single strike that blew Hu Don away.

Literally, he only saw a flash sparkling.

But he could know.

That was the martial art of the Twin Dragon Sect he drew as an ideal.

So the sect must be correct.

So believing the words that they would treat Master, he vacated the spot like this. But….

‘How can that be?’

He heard from Master that the disciples of the Twin Dragon Sect were now only himself and Master left.

Then just what happened to them?

“It seems you have many questions?”

Mun Yul flinched as Persona spoke to him.

“Ah…. Yes. That is actually….”

Mun Yul sighed and said.

“I cannot understand the reason. I have never heard from Master that he has fellow disciples like you two, so….”

“Right. That must be so. There are quite complicated circumstances.”

After Radiant Dragon Great Master Jin Cheon of 200 years ago died, he was reborn in the Pangemonia Continent, lived as Patrick Schneider, killed the Heavenly Demon, obtained godhood, and then returned to this world.

It was impossible to explain such circumstances to this child. But….

“Mm, you will know gradually. Rather than that, can I ask one thing too?”

“Please speak?”

“Are you really a disciple of the Twin Dragon Sect?”

“…Yes.”

“Really? Truly?”

“That is correct.”

Seeing Mun Yul answering with his chest expanded, Persona sighed a deep sigh of relief and said.

“What a great relief.”

“…Yes?”

“I was worried what if everyone was the same kind of human just because they are disciples of the Twin Dragon Sect.”

“…Yes?”

“No, it’s nothing. I am just extremely glad that the Junior Brother has a normal personality.”

“…….”

“Mm, of course. There is no way there are two of such humans.”

What is it? He didn’t know the reason, but she seemed truly relieved.

Then one scabbard slid out through the straw mat covering the shanty and….

Thwack!

“Ow… It hurts.”

It struck the head of the peerless beauty presumed(?) to be his Senior Sister just like that.

“Why do you hit me?”

As she shouted loudly, the voice of the foreign man from a moment ago was heard from inside the house.

“If you ask why I hit you, I must answer that it’s because there was a disciple’s head there.”

“Are you human? Really….”

“Enough. Come in now. Bring that child called Mun Yul too.”

“Yes. Understood.”

Mun Yul entered the house with her.

And the first thing he saw there was….

“Master!”

The appearance of Master sitting up.

He didn’t know how long it had been.

Master, who was always lying down unable to even swallow gruel, had raised his body.

Tears welled up in Mun Yul’s eyes.

“Master…. Kugh….”

“I caused you worry.”

“Sob….”

“Why are you crying, rascal?”

“Master…. Sob…. Masteeeer….”

Mun Yul cried loudly without caring that his face became covered in tears and snot.

It was days where living didn’t feel like living due to his powerlessness of being unable to do anything even after seeing Master dying day by day.

Master came back to life.

From a disciple’s standpoint, what could be happier than this?

The disciple cried in the master’s arms like a young child.

The master hugged such a disciple with a smile full of apology. And then….

“It’s okay now, so do not worry.”

He comforted the commendable heart of the disciple who must have worried about him all this time.

The sincere specialness between master and disciple touches the viewer’s heartst….

“What’s okay about being okay? You almost died.”

The devil is an exception.
