Radiant Dragon’s Otherworldly Reincarnation

Vol 2 Chapter 37. Won’t You Go to Shaolin Temple With Me? (2)

The outcome was decided.

Jang Pil lying down.

Mun Yul standing on two feet, although bleeding from the corners of his mouth.

Who is the winner and who is the loser was revealed too clearly.

“I won.”

At this moment, the thrilling pleasure wrapping around Mun Yul’s whole body was indescribable.

It feels completely different from winning against junior brothers in sparring.

This feeling of winning with his own power in real actual combat could not be put into words.

Mun Yul’s face looking at the fallen Jang Pil was full of unspeakable joy. However….

‘No. Must not be like this.’

Mun Yul shook his head.

He is not an Unorthodox ruffian but a disciple of the Orthodox Faction walking the right path.

And the Head Disciple who has to show an example to other junior brothers.

What should be prioritized here was not his own victory but the pride that he protected the sect and this Tianshui County.

Mun Yul withdrew his sword and spoke to Jang Pil.

“This duel is our Twin Dragon Sect’s victory.”

“…….”

Jang Pil’s face turned red with shame.

“Do not cause harm to the civilians and withdraw as is.”

No answer returned from Jang Pil, but Mun Yul thought it was not the courtesy of a martial artist to push the opponent further and give disgrace.

He just withdrew his sword, turned his back, and turned….

“Die!”

Almost simultaneously with Jang Pil’s shout from behind Mun Yul’s back who was trying to return to the junior brothers, a clear sound rang out.

BANG!

A transparent sound ringing the air widely.

The source of that sound was a small tube Jang Pil took out from his bosom and aimed at Mun Yul.

‘What is it?’

Mun Yul felt a creepy feeling momentarily, but that was all.

He couldn’t react to what judgment he should make momentarily.

And….

TING!

The next moment, sparks flew right in front of Mun Yul’s forehead. Only then could Mun Yul see.

That a small bean-sized iron ball was flying toward his forehead.

And the protagonist of this dazzling pure white sword that deflected that at the forehead was….

“You are doing greeeaaaat. Huh?”

Ah, damn it.

Rather than seeing this sight, I should have just gotten hit.

Patrick looked at Mun Yul as if seeing the most pathetic guy in the world and said.

“If you subdued an Unorthodox bastard, you should cut the neck. You show your back? Why? It’s itchy so ask him to scratch it?”

“No, that is….”

“That is what?”

“I momentarily let my guard down….”

“Something to be proud of.”

“…….”

“If you die like that, should I carve on the tombstone ‘Here lies a moron who died letting his guard down’? Huh?”

“…….”

He has nothing to say.

Patrick had a bucketful more of nagging he wanted to pour out toward Mun Yul. However….

“I’ll deal with you later for now.”

Leaving just that one word, the place Patrick turned his head to look at was….

“Well really, am I unable to follow the trend these days?”

“D… Don’t come!”

“Unorthodox kids shoot guns? Tsk tsk, it’s the end of the world, end of the world. In my days, at best it was flying knives or poison needles, but these days Unorthodox kids shoot guns.”

“…….”

“How is the world going to turn out that guns passed over even to Unorthodox riffraff? Hmm?”

Patrick approached Jang Pil.

Then the terrified Jang Pil shouted.

“Wh… What are you doing? Everyone attack!”

At Jang Pil’s words, the subordinates hesitated for a moment.

They looked like they were agonizing over whether following the words of the defeated boss here would be beneficial to their survival.

To such subordinates, Jang Pil shouted.

“You cripples. If we lose to that bastard like this, the fact that we used gunpowder weapons will be discovered by the authorities. Then everyone gets executed!”

At those words, the subordinates snapped to their senses.

Although the authorities and Murim are said to have a relationship of mutual non-aggression, there is still a line.

If they get caught using gunpowder weapons, then the authorities treat them not as barbaric people but as rebels and chase them to the end to execute them.

“A… Attack!”

“Strike all at once!”

Eventually, the youngest of the Four Bears of Hunan shouted, and the subordinates following him rushed at Patrick all at once.

And Patrick smirked seeing such Unorthodox bastards and said.

“Kids. Receive the guests.”

As soon as those words ended….

“Where do you dare!”

“These unorthodox bastards are doing a sneak attack!”

“You’re all dead today!”

From behind Patrick, over ten disciples ran forward holding twin swords in both hands.

The disciples of the Twin Dragon Sect struck out as if they had been waiting only for this moment.

The number on this side is fifteen.

The opponent is well over a hundred. However….

“Take this!”

“Where do these guys… Keu-heok!”

“Kueaack!”

“No. Block. Blo… Aack!”

As if the numerical inferiority of the Twin Dragon Sect was nothing, they were pushing the opponents overwhelmingly.

The moment both sides clashed.

Like angry wolves one-sidedly ravaging a flock of sheep, an overwhelming difference was revealed.

The disciples were rather flustered seeing the Unorthodox bastards who couldn’t even block attacks properly, allowed every hit, and sprawled out in one blow.

“What? Why are these things so weak?”

“With merely this skill, they coveted Tianshui County?”

“I will make it so you can’t even lurk around ever again!”

The disciples who gained confidence began to smash the Unorthodox practitioners steadily.

Radiant Dragon Twelve Sword Forms is a luxury for guys like this.

The disciples overwhelmed the Unorthodox practitioners with just basic swordsmanship, just as Mun Yul did at first.

They struck weapons away, smashed faces with fists, and broke knees with kicks.

Even the youngest disciple Yun-a, who usually monopolized the cuteness of senior brothers, struck up an Unorthodox bastard’s chin with her dainty foot.

“Kuh…. Grew well. Grew well.”

Patrick was smiling warmly seeing such disciples.

When he first took them in, let alone swordsmanship, they were kids who couldn’t even eat properly and were skinny to the bone, but now they grew into respectable martial artists and are beating up Unorthodox kids.

“Are you watching, Master? Master is also proud, right?”

[Isn’t it… a bit excessive?]

“Oho, didn’t Master teach that when it comes to screwing up the Unorthodox, it is better to be excessive than lacking?”

[When did I, you punk!]

“I think you did…. Well, never mind if not.”

While Patrick was thinking other thoughts like that….

“Ugh… Ugh….”

“Stop…. Sur… Surrender.”

“Please just spare my life. Young Hero!”

Before he knew it, the disciples had subdued all the Unorthodox miscellaneous soldiers.

This side subdued them perfectly without a single injured person, let alone casualties.

That appearance was truly…

“Won’t lower your eyes? Won’t lower? Should I just extract the ink from the center of your eyeballs?”

“You bastard, you tried to flee just now, right? Should I divide your leg stick into 36 parts? Huh?”

“It was you, the one who cursed at me calling me a brat earlier. Come here, let’s see each other separately for a moment.”

Like thugs.

[…Have anything to say?]

“Why? It’s spirited so it’s good.”

Anyway, the Twin Dragon Sect defeated the Four Bears of Hunan and perfectly proved that this Tianshui County is the Twin Dragon Sect’s territory.

The residents of Tianshui County who watched this duel were all praising the disciples of the Twin Dragon Sect with one voice. So now…. “Have to tidy up things to tidy up. Isn’t that right?”

Patrick stood in front of Jang Pil who had fallen and was crawling on all fours and spoke.

“Since you coveted others’ territory recklessly, you must be prepared too, right?”

“Me…. Mer….”

“…….”

“Please just spare my life. In the future, I will live diligently as an ordinary civilian.”

Jang Pil clung to Patrick and pleaded.

Actually, if it came to this, there is no other method.

He had to beg unconditionally.

And since the opponent professes to be Orthodox, it was also the method with the highest survival rate.

‘He won’t be able to kill me in front of all these people watching. Since he has to show that he is merciful….’

To Jang Pil thinking such thoughts, Patrick spoke.

“Did you say everything you wanted to say?”

“…Me….”

SLASH!

And before Jang Pil could say anything, a flash like a thin thread passed Jang Pil’s neck.

“Uh…. Uh uh….”

Blood oozing out from the neck.

Jang Pil’s expression distorted with terror. To such a Jang Pil, Patrick said.

“You asked to show mercy?”

“Uh uh uh….”

“This is the maximum mercy I can show you.”

And the moment Patrick brushed past Jang Pil, Jang Pil’s head fell to the ground and blood spurted from the cut surface.

“Ugh… Ugh….”

“No. Don’t come!”

The remaining brothers of the Four Bears of Hunan who witnessed Jang Pil’s death were terrified and tried to crawl and run away. But there was no forgiveness or hesitation in Patrick’s sword approaching them.

THUD. THUD THUD.

All three heads fell in order.

In front of Patrick’s eyes who disposed of four people in an instant, a command window only he could see popped up.

[Command Complete]

Obtained 3,000 Causality.

Currently possessed Causality 24,000

Originally, Patrick has a personality that does not forgive the Unorthodox.

But the reason he used his hands so decisively right now is that these were unforgivable villains.

Murder, robbery, rape, etc….

According to the information presented by the command window, these bastards were villains who didn’t even qualify to obtain a new life.

Giving them a painless death at least was the only mercy Patrick could show.

In the coldly frozen atmosphere, Patrick spoke.

“Mun Yul.”

“…Yes. Yes. Bong-gong.”

“Cripple the dantians of all these bastards and hand them over to the authorities.”

“To the authorities?”

“They are bastards who used gunpowder weapons. Since they violated the unwritten rule of the Jianghu, they should pay the price.”

“Yes. Understood.”

Mun Yul followed Patrick’s instructions faithfully.

And Patrick clasped his hands to the surrounding civilians and spoke with a loud voice.

“As long as our Twin Dragon Sect is healthy, there will be no more ruffians of the Unorthodox and Black Way settling in your base. So everyone, please be at ease and engage in your livelihoods.”

At those words of Patrick, thunderous applause burst out among the residents of Tianshui County.

Although they froze a little at the decisive hand skills, the Twin Dragon Sect is Orthodox and protected them.

Worry and fear disappeared from the faces of the county people who realized that fact once again.

The civilians acknowledged them.

Starting from this day, the Twin Dragon Sect once again became the true guardian of Tianshui County.

* * *

After defeating the Four Bears of Hunan.

“Did you call? Bong-gong.”

“Right. I called so you came.”

Patrick called Mun Yul.

But the problem was that the place he called him to was truly….

“Excuse me, Bong-gong.”

“Why? If you came, sit.”

“…You mean sit here?”

“Then will you stand? A guy with peculiar tastes.”

Right. If an elder of the sect tells you to sit, you should sit. The problem is that here is….

“Oh my, a cute Young Hero.”

“Sit next to this mistress here. Today I will serve you.”

It’s a brothel.

Mun Yul, who came at Patrick’s word to come to the most bustling brothel in Tianshui County, didn’t know what to do.

The courtesans grabbed such a Mun Yul, sat him down, and filled his glass with soft hands.

“You are Young Hero Mun Yul of the Twin Dragon Sect, right? It is an honor to serve you.”

“Ah, yes…. That….”

Hello.

I am a sucker who came to a brothel for the first time.

Seeing Mun Yul expressing that with his whole body, Patrick laughed openly.

“Oh my, that sucker bastard. If thrown into the Fragrant Province, he would be robbed even of his underwear in ten days.”

“Why… Why did you call me to a place like this?!”

Mun Yul shouted thunderously with a red face and got angry. However….

“Uh? A place like this? This guy discriminates against brothels.”

“No, it’s not discrimination….”

“Girls. He seems to hate brothels. What to do?”

“No, it’s not that, it’s….”

Seeing the panicked Mun Yul, the beautiful courtesan next to Patrick filled his glass and said.

“Stop teasing him. He is a young and innocent Young Hero.”

“I tease him because he is young and innocent. If he gets old and worn out, would there be any taste in teasing?”

“That is true.”

Seeing Patrick matching rhythm well with the courtesan, he felt dumbfounded and envious….

‘No. No. I’ll get scolded by the Master.’

Mun Yul steadied his mind that was about to be disturbed.

And spoke to Patrick.

“May I ask the reason you sought the disciple?”

“Tsk, boring fellow.”

Patrick clicked his tongue slightly and continued his words.

“Right. How is the feeling of experiencing the first actual combat?”

“…….”

Mun Yul thought.

Yes. Today Mun Yul held a sword and experienced actual combat for the first time.

There was a crisis, but eventually, he overcame it and won.

But right after that….

‘Almost died.’

He didn’t know the opponent would do a sneak attack from behind.

Even using a gunpowder weapon they didn’t know where he got it from.

‘If the Bong-gong hadn’t blocked it….’

It would have been impossible to sit here fine right now.

Because he would have died.

He realized it anew.

‘This is the Jianghu.’

The life of a martial artist where life and death intersect was exactly like this.

Mun Yul realized for the first time that he was a Jianghu person. Patrick spoke to Mun Yul.

“I have a pile of nagging I want to do, but today I will specially desist.”

“…….”

“Since it seems you yourself are feeling it sufficiently anyway.”

“…….”

“Today just drink liquor and play then go.”

Then Mun Yul spoke as if slightly unexpected.

“Does the Bong-gong…. intend to comfort me?”

“When the head is complicated, liquor and women are special medicines.”

Mun Yul realized that Patrick called him here to soothe his mind which might have been daunted.

And Patrick clicked his tongue and said.

“And punk, you have to accumulate experience like this too. To have no resistance to women like this. My….”

“Why… Why do I need resistance to women?”

“Are you stupid? In the Jianghu, women can be more dangerous than knives or poison.”

“That is….”

“Traditionally, if one is a martial artist, one should be able to maintain coolness even with beautiful women around.”

“I… I can.”

“I… I cuan.”

Wow, annoying.

Mun Yul, flaring up, retorted to Patrick.

“It is a hundred times better than going around promiscuously like the Bong-gong. Like that, who would even come to marry the Bong-gong?”

“Huh? Did I not say?”

“What?”

“I’m married.”

“…Yes?”

“I have three wives, no, four if combined… well anyway, I am a popular man.”

“…Yes?”

What appeared on Mun Yul’s face was astonishment.

If someone asked when was the most surprised moment in his life, he felt he could say today.

And the emotion following was….

“Ay, lie.”

Distrust.

“I’m telling you it’s true, punk?”

“What woman in the world would come to marry the Bong-gong? You should deceive what can be deceived.”

“Wow, he doesn’t believe this. I am popular with women, punk!”

“Puhahahaha.”

Mun Yul laughed loudly.

It was a typical reaction of a person who heard nonsensical bullshit.

‘This bastard….’

Patrick raised veins on his forehead and shouted unjustly.

“I’m telling you it’s true, my wives are all incredibly pretty.”

“Yes. Yes. Since they are women in imagination, they have no choice but to be pretty…. Aack! Why are you hitting?”

“I hit because it is reasonable to be hit! You bastard!”

Comfort or whatever, this deserves a beating.

Like that, the day Mun Yul experienced his first actual combat and received the baptism as a martial artist passed.
