Radiant Dragon’s Otherworldly Reincarnation

Vol 2 Chapter 33. Come On In (1)

Mun Yul’s punishment, which had been ordered as probation by Go Seok-hyeon, was lifted quickly. Then the disciples sighed in relief.

“Thank heavens.”

“Exactly.”

“But… will it be okay?”

“About what?”

“That thing. That.”

The disciple who brought it up spoke frustratingly when the other fellow disciple didn’t understand.

“This time the Eldest Senior Brother and the Bong-gong had that…. conflict of opinion, right?”

“Right?”

“Is this really okay? Won’t there be things like grudges remaining in the future?”

“…….”

There was no one answering that.

Why wouldn’t they know?

The Twin Dragon Sect disciples are those who were orphans in the slums, taken in by Sect Leader Go Seok-hyeon and raised by Patrick.

They have no home to return to.

The sect was immediately their family and base.

Yesterday they intervened because they feared Mun Yul, the Eldest Senior Brother, would receive a severe punishment, but now that things turned out like this, they were suddenly scared. However….

“Kids.”

Sanson appeared and called the disciples.

“Did you call? Instructor Sanson.”

Unlike Patrick or Instructor Oliver, Instructor Sanson, who has common sense in his behavior, was trusted by the disciples.

He spoke.

“Everyone gather at the Small Training Ground. The Young Master calls.”

Everyone knew that the person referred to when Sanson and Oliver said Young Master was the Bong-gong.

‘Is it finally time?’

‘Damn, what do we do?’

The disciples dragged their heavy steps and headed to the Small Training Ground. What awaited them there was….

“Oh my, are you sulking? Sulking?”

“I am not.”

“Seems like you are sulking?”

“I suid I’m nut.”

“Oh my, did you? Our Yul is sulking?”

“…….”

It was this spectacle.

In a way, it is a scene no different from usual. To the disciples feeling a sense of relief, Sanson pushed them from behind and said.

“Line up quickly.”

“Yes. Yessir!”

“Understood.”

And when the disciples all lined up, Sanson spoke to Patrick, who was scratching his stomach next to Mun Yul.

“Young Master, the kids are all here.”

“Ah. Really?”

Patrick, who was poking Mun Yul’s side and teasing him, went in front of the lined-up disciples and said.

“Ahem, everyone has worked hard.”

Patrick, who opened his mouth, bowed his head slightly, really just very slightly, minutely to the disciples.

Enough that one wouldn’t feel it unless they watched with concentration.

“First, I will apologize.”

“…….”

“I was too indifferent to you all in the meantime.”

What? Did the Bong-gong apologize just now?

No, they didn’t want even this much. Of course, other disciples also felt the alienation and dissatisfaction that Mun Yul felt. However….

‘A person has shame.’

‘How much grace has the Bong-gong bestowed upon us….’

‘We are sorry. Because we are lacking….’

The disciples rather closed their eyes tightly in guilt when Patrick apologized.

It felt like they became beasts who didn’t even know grace. However….

“Of course, even if I am a great figure who established immense merit in feeding, clothing, and putting you to sleep and raising the sect, I shouldn’t have ignored the alienation you would have felt.”

What? Is this an apology?

The guilt welling up from deep in the heart sinks quickly.

And Patrick continued speaking.

“I was a tiiiiiny bit indifferent.”

“…….”

“Sry!”

“…….”

“Now, since I apologized like this, let’s consider my fault nonexistent. Everyone agrees, right? You agree? Okay. Understood.”

“…….”

A man whose shamelessness has reached the realm of divinity.

His name is Patrick Schneider.

In the place where awe and guilt disappeared, an emotion called pissed-off rose up quite naturally.

Whether they did or not, Patrick continued speaking.

“In the sense of reflecting, I also changed my thoughts now. I will make you fulfill your duties and roles as martial artists of the Twin Dragon Sect.”

Having said that, Patrick took out a letter from his bosom.

“This is a challenge letter that just arrived at the sect yesterday.”

Then the disciples stirred.

“Challenge letter?”

“To whom?”

“No, naturally they must be challenging us.”

“To us?”

“Right.”

“…To us?”

Even while speaking, the disciples couldn’t believe it.

Three years have passed since the Twin Dragon Sect re-established itself in Tianshui County, but a challenger has never appeared.

In fact, most Jianghu people probably wouldn’t even know this Twin Dragon Sect exists in this world. However….

“It might be unfamiliar to everyone, but now things like this will become daily life.”

Patrick spoke to the stirring disciples.

“Recently, we invited a large merchant guild from Gansu Province and proceeded with business talks. In that process, we secured massive profits just with the down payment we received in advance.”

“…….”

“Thanks to whom is all this? It’s thanks to this great Bong-gong Patrick Schneider.”

“…….”

“I praise myself very much. Me. Well done, Patrick.”

“…….”

It was Patrick patting the crown of his own head and praising himself.

Yes. It is the right word.

It is the right word, but….

‘Annoying.’

‘Wow, unlucky.’

‘Does he have to say it with his own mouth?’

The disciples grumbled inwardly. At that time, Mun Yul, who had the only serious face, spoke.

“Bong-gong. What does that have to do with the challenge letter?”

“Huh? What do you mean what does it have to do? You don’t know?”

“…….”

“Really don’t know? Waaaa…. Does our Yul ask because he really doesn’t know? Is that so?”

It feels like he became the greatest idiot under the heavens. However….

“The disciple cannot know because my thoughts are lacking.”

“Tsk tsk tsk, right. Then it can’t be helped.”

“…….”

“This great and handsome Bong-gong will teach you directly. Wash your ears and listen well.”

What is life?

Anyway, coming empty-handed and going empty-handed, what is the use of struggling and trying?

‘Anyway, all is void….’

“Hey, are you listening?”

“…Ah! Yes. Please speak.”

Mun Yul, who almost obtained enlightenment in a strange direction for a moment, regained his senses.

Patrick glared slightly at such a Mun Yul and explained the situation.

“In the period when we had nothing and our name was not known, there was no need for outsiders to bother touching us. Why would they pick a fight when there is nothing to gain?”

“Ah….”

“But not anymore. We achieved great success in this transaction and earned massive money. Perhaps we might earn more money in the future too.”

“Do you mean seeing an object gives rise to the desire to possess it?”

“Do you understand a little now?”

Patrick laughed smoothly and took out the letter again and showed it.

“The challenger is the Four Bears of Hunan, I don’t know what kind of guys they are, but guys who lived in Hunan came a truly long way too. In the letter, they wrote about the Way of Hegemony and honor and whatnot, but….”

Krr-heung!

Patrick blew his nose on the challenge letter and threw it behind him just like that, saying.

“They wrote the characters so messily that I can’t read it. Anyway, Unorthodox bastards….”

Patrick, who shrugged his shoulders like that, said.

“Anyway, the point is they want to challenge us. And if they win against us, empty the manor and withdraw. Well, something like this.”

“…….”

“…….”

The expressions of Mun Yul and other disciples became grim.

Crack.

It is a challenge in words, but this is just an invasion.

Hearing the fact that the Twin Dragon Sect raised massive profits, some weird guys never heard of before came invading to steal it.

In the eyes of the disciples who think of this Twin Dragon Sect as home, killing intent beyond fighting spirit began to linger.

“Eyes are good.”

Patrick looked at such disciples as if satisfied.

“Mun Yul!”

“Yessir!”

To Mun Yul who answered with a voice full of strength, Patrick spoke with a stern voice.

“As the Bong-gong of the Great Twin Dragon Sect, I command you.”

Mun Yul knelt on one knee and brought his right fist to his left chest and said.

“Please speak.”

“Lead the disciples and defeat the invaders. Make those who dared to challenge the Twin Dragon Sect, blinded by greed, pay the price.”

“Yessir!”

Fighting spirit boiled in Mun Yul’s eyes.

* * *

Four Bears of Hunan.

As can be known from the name, they are all those who were active in Hunan.

Four people with matching minds gathered, swore brotherhood, called each other brother, combined forces, and started going around arrogantly.

They were confident in martial arts in their own way and made a name for themselves by cutting off the heads of so-called masters in the vicinity.

Under the Unorthodox martial artist who proved his power, other Unorthodox practitioners submit and start to gather.

Thus, there was a time when over 200 people gathered under them and formed a force.

If people increase, the force becomes strong, but it also costs a lot of money.

The Four Bears of Hunan were short on money and committed various things.

Most were plunder and threats.

Then a problem arose.

They raided the escort procession of the Eoryong Escort Agency, killed the escorts, and plundered the goods.

Up to here, it is what they always did.

The problem was that the Eoryong Escort Agency was a place the Yangtze River Water Fortress operated secretly for disposing of stolen goods.

They stepped on a tiger’s tail that should not be stepped on.

Originally, in revenge, the Unorthodox Faction is more thorough and vicious than the Orthodox Faction.

The Yangtze River Water Fortress chased and attacked the Four Bears of Hunan to a thorough degree.

The Four Bears of Hunan said they resisted in their own way, but they were no match.

Most of the subordinates following them were bandit riffraff, and with this, there was no way to handle the water bandits of the Water Fortress.

Both numerically and qualitatively, the group of the Four Bears of Hunan, having no way to oppose, was thoroughly destroyed.

The Four Bears of Hunan also had to abandon their subordinates and the base they made in the meantime and barely saved their lives to leave Hunan.

They kept moving north where the eyes and ears of the Yangtze River Water Fortress did not reach, and eventually, the place they arrived was the vicinity of Gansu Province.

Here, they were gathering subordinates again one by one and avoiding the eyes of the authorities, doing illicit trade exchanging salt and horses with the equestrian tribes of the north, and gradually increasing their force. However….

“Brother! Brother!”

While he was pleasantly drunk from the day and taking a nap, a guy with a crafty impression came in and made a fuss.

“What is it?”

This man frowning and speaking is exactly the first of the Four Bears of Hunan, Great Bear Fist Jang Pil.

And the man entering making a fuss right now was the youngest of the same Four Bears of Hunan.

“I brought a tempting story. Please listen.”

“You?”

Jang Pil laughed smoothly.

It was not just once or twice that he saw blood after listening to the tempting story this guy talked about.

He has enthusiasm, but his ears are thin and he has much greed, so he was not a guy to trust and entrust something to at all.

In the first place, the proposal to raid because the Eoryong Escort Agency was transporting expensive goods was also made by this guy. So….

“Don’t spout nonsense uselessly and get lost.”

It was natural for Jang Pil not to trust the youngest.

When he tried to chase him out gesturing as if annoyed, other people approached and spoke.

“Brother, let’s listen to the youngest’s story for once.”

“We heard it first and it seemed like a really good story.”

One was a man with a slender physique holding a spear behind his back, and the other was a man with a hefty build carrying a large hammer.

The man using the spear is the second of the Four Bears of Hunan, and the giant using the large hammer is the third.

As the brothers all said the same words, Jang Pil also scratched his head and sat down for now.

“Try speaking then.”

When permission fell, the youngest started chattering like a chatterbox.

“Yes. Brother, they say a sect called Twin Dragon Sect in Tianshui County, Gansu Province earned a ton of money recently.”

Uh? This is really a bit tempting.

Jang Pil fingered his beard and said.

“Twin Dragon Sect, a sect I haven’t heard of.”

“They say it is a sect newly created recently.”

“Are you certain?”

“Yes. When I investigated, originally Tianshui County was occupied by guys called Twin Dragon Gang, but the guys who pushed out that Twin Dragon Gang and took the spot are the Twin Dragon Sect.”

“It means they are a rising force…. Then do they not have a backing somewhere?”

“They don’t. The person called Sect Leader was originally a physician riffraff, and they say the only master in the sect is one color-eye person who came from the Outer Regions.”

“And that color-eye person is quite a master?”

“Correct. That…. It might be a false rumor, but they say he is the one who subdued Blood Wave Saber Ma Jae-ho.”

“Damn, a real master. So what do you want to do?”

To the grumbling Jang Pil, the youngest said.

“Brother, no matter how much of a master he is, it is only one person. If we just deal with that one person….”

“The Jianghu is where you can all die to just that one person. Do you not know even after experiencing that like that?”

If it were the past, Jang Pil might have been tempted by the youngest’s words. But now he knows.

The moment he saw one master of the Water Fortress dispatched directly by the Yangtze River Water Fortress defeat the combined attack of himself and his brothers and tear apart tens of subordinates in one move….

‘Damn, such monsters are unfair.’

Now Jang Pil knew.

That there are masters in the world who can kill the likes of him with one finger.

And to live long, it is best not to touch such masters.

“Longevity is simply the best. Enough, go and do what you were doing properly.”

When Jang Pil showed no interest, the youngest became anxious. And he desperately persuaded Jang Pil.

“Brother, we don’t know how long we can do illicit trade either. If we get caught in a crackdown from the authorities like this, then it’s the end.”

“This bastard really….”

“People like Brother cannot wander around like this forever without settling down, can you? Hearing that Tianshui County is quite a bustling place, how good would it be if we occupy it firmly?”

“…….”

Jang Pil’s face becomes subtle.

And he beckons the youngest by wiggling his finger.

“As expected, Brother also thinks… Keu-heok!”

Jang Pil, who reached out his hand at once and grabbed the youngest’s neck, said.

“Speak honestly. Knowing clearly it is dangerous, why are you anxious because you can’t go? If you don’t speak properly, from today we will not be Four Bears of Hunan but Three Bears of Hunan.”

“K… Kuuu…. K….”

“You won’t speak, is that it? Then it can’t be helped. Goodbye.”

And the moment Jang Pil put strength into his hand to just break the youngest’s neck.

“Brother.”

The second intervened.

“What?”

To Jang Pil asking back coldly, the second spoke cautiously.

“You have to let go of the neck for him to speak.”

“…Ah.”

This is the average intelligence of Unorthodox bastards.
