Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 587: Chapter 586: Uta’s Fangirl Moment, Olga and Shanks’ Past Achievements

Outsiders may not recognize Pokemon, but the high-level officials of the Hundred Beasts are well-versed in the known Pokemon. Although those scholars from Ohara have just started transitioning to Pokemon research and the data is mostly hand-drawn, Rotom has already been widely utilized.

To prevent outside members from failing to recognize the Pokemon created by Arceus, the Rotom phone will update the types of Pokemon created by Arceus. However, aside from species names, appearances, and preferences, there isn’t much else in the database.

This is similar to a basic Pokedex, and the principle is simple. These devices, which house Rotoms, connect to a central network on Ghost Island, allowing real-time data transmission. Checking the Rotom phone for updates has become a hobby for the Hundred Beasts officials during their leisure time.

Even ordinary members without phones can learn about these updates through other channels within the base. As a high-level official, Tesoro’s family is naturally familiar with various types of Pokemon.

”It’s true, I didn’t expect it to be so soon. Little White, did you sense the presence of other Pokemon and come here?”

”Meow~”

While stroking Little White’s cat head, Tesoro surveyed the surrounding environment.

”This... is Ellegia’s Music Academy, right? Why is Heracross here? Heracross, did you discover something here?”

”Hera, Hera.”

Heracross shook its head and then pointed towards the direction of the academy.

”Rotom, it said its friend is attending class inside, so it’s waiting here for her.”

Another use for Rotom when out and about is its human voice system, allowing it to function as a Pokemon translator. Using Rotom’s translation feature, Tesoro and the others easily understood what Heracross wanted to convey.

At this moment, the academy’s dismissal bell rang, and Tesoro and his group saw Uta running from a distance towards them.

”Tesoro, this child has nothing to do with us, right? Why is Heracross with her?”

”Lord Arceus mentioned that Pokemon can sense human intentions. If the relationship is genuine, Pokemon will reciprocate. It seems to have chosen this girl.

Let’s not worry about this. If everything goes smoothly, we’ll be living here for a while. Ann, make sure to study hard.”

”I understand, I’ll study well.”

Tesoro and Stella also intended to gain some further education here, but unlike Ann, who could only undergo more systematic training during this opportunity, others like Cindry were already adults, long past their formative years.

Just then, Uta, upon seeing Heracross, ran over to this side.

”Asen, why did you come here... Stella, ma’am?!!”

Asen was the name she gave Heracross. Not knowing its species, she named it randomly after a rhinoceros beetle, but when she saw Stella, the hair on the back of her head stood up in excitement.

”You... are you the real Stella, ma’am? Wow, you’re Mr. Tesoro, are you all here?!”

Living in Windmill Village, Uta was not someone oblivious to the outside world. Not only was she Shanks’s daughter, but she was also like a daughter to the entire Red Hair Pirates. Due to her hobbies, the Red Hair Pirates would bring her albums from various places.

Although Tesoro and Stella weren’t purely musicians, they were world-famous celebrities. In close proximity, the sunglasses they wore were of limited help in concealing their identities, and Uta quickly recognized them.

”Yes, it’s us. This Heracross... is it your friend?”

”Heracross? Its name is Asen... are you what Asen has been looking for?”

Uta’s tone grew a bit agitated; she didn’t want this friend to leave so soon.

”No, Heracross is its species name. This kind of rhinoceros beetle is collectively called Heracross, does that make sense?”

Through Heracross, Stella quickly became friendly with Uta and even helped by signing an autograph for her.

”Ms. Stella, do you know Miss Karina and Ms. Maria Napoleon?”

”I’m fairly familiar with them, why do you ask?”

”Are they coming here? They’re the musicians I admire the most, I also want to become a famous singer like them!”

”Unfortunately, I’m not in the same agency as them. Perhaps I can introduce you someday.”

They belonged to different agencies but were in the same circle and had collaborated on some projects.

In this circle, unless there is a deep-seated grudge, it means the two parties can be collaborative partners. Stella was just being polite, and whether they could meet again in the future was uncertain.

Before they realized it, Stella and Uta had talked for quite a while. Meanwhile, Uta, who hadn’t gone home after school, attracted Shanks’s attention as he came looking for her.

”Uta! It’s time to go home!”

”Shanks~ let me talk a bit longer, this is the real Miss Stella. She’s my third favorite artist~”

Uta clung to Shanks’s leg, trying to act cute, without noticing the rare seriousness in Shanks’s eyes. Uta wasn’t aware of what Hundred Beasts Fruit implied, but Shanks knew all too well.

”So, what brings you here, Mr. Tesoro or... Mr. Giovanni?”

”Hmm? You have good intelligence. Of course, we’re here to study music; we’re legitimate artists, just a company team-building event, Shanks or... Red Hair?”

Different names carried different implications. Tesoro wasn’t sure how Shanks learned about his codename, but it already demonstrated the other’s capability. When he appeared as Giovanni, his actions weren’t necessarily legal.

His way of addressing was the same principle. It was a conversational method among pirates: for those not well-acquainted, names, and bounties’ titles held different meanings. If he chose Red Hair, it indicated hostility.

”Indeed, just to study music. There’s a music tavern over there, how about a drink?”

In an instant, the two unfamiliar men went arm in arm towards the nearby tavern while Uta continued to ask Stella about the entertainment industry.

It’s not that Shanks was overconfident; besides him, Beckman and other members of the Red Hair Pirates were already nearby, which was why he felt at ease letting Uta talk with others.

After sitting down, Shanks seemed to be mulling over something, but it was Tesoro who opened a topic first.

”I just remembered, Sister Olga once told me to say hello to you when I saw you.”

”Olga...”

”That girl who joined forces with that red-nosed one and still wasn’t your match, that’s what Sister Olga said, don’t you remember?”
