Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 560: Chapter 559: You’re My Future Target

Placed the word ”Yamato’s toy” at the top of my notes; if Judge saw this, he would be infuriated, as the battle suit he took pride in became nothing more than a toy in others’ eyes.

Although its combat power is formidable and highly functional, it still meets the fate of a toy in Yamato’s hands, even as she grows older, it does not change her playful nature.

The issue of materials is not difficult to solve, and he has mastered the technology of Bloodline Factor. The problem to solve is how to enable Yamato to drive it.

Judge’s children can freely use the battle suit’s abilities due to their modifications. Even if they exchanged battle suits, they couldn’t utilize each other’s abilities. It’s not that they adapted to the suits, but that the specially designed suits adapted to them.

Germa’s battle suits certainly have different functions, but all these began because Judge systematically created bodies that could accommodate various ”abilities”.

For example, Reiju’s poison abilities mean she is also more resistant to poisons herself, so even without the battle suit, she can absorb toxins with her body.

The same theory applies to the other brothers; perhaps if Sanji had been fully modified, he could have achieved his desire in another way.

Yamato is not a Modified Person, so to drive this toy, another method of power activation is needed.

However, saying she’s not a Modified Person is not entirely accurate; her body has abilities bestowed by Arceus, which can be considered a different modification. Because of this, her combat energy is similar to the Energy Cannon modified by Queen, although Queen needs to slightly modify the energy transmission method.

Theoretically, a few sleepless nights could yield a solution, but he doesn’t have much time to waste. Yamato’s traits are unpredictable, she might have forgotten, but when she remembers, it’ll be troublesome.

So Queen did not delay and immediately returned to his laboratory on the mainland of Wano Kuni.

And as Queen was passing through the Inner Sea of Wano Kuni, he was shouting Jack’s name.

”Jack! Come out! A task from Lord Arceus has arrived!”

Looking at the situation in the Inner Sea, one can tell where Jack is. Because of that miraculous engineer who does not repair drainage, Wano Kuni has formed this special terrain; the vast Inner Sea is actually an artificial lake.

Usually, the lake surface remains calm, without major waves, but now it’s different, something under the water seems to be fighting, occasionally causing huge waves to batter the shores.

Shortly after Queen’s voice echoed, Jack emerged from the waters.

”What is it, Brother Queen? What’s the task?”

”Go to Mandfeish and rescue a Fishman, just make sure he doesn’t die, but you’ve been training really hard.”

Looking at the panting Jack, Queen estimated he must have been exercising for quite some time, as his stamina rarely gets depleted like this.

”I want to challenge your position soon, Brother Queen, to become a new Disaster.”

”....”

It’s an ambitious goal, but Queen suddenly didn’t know what to say. The position of Disaster is not unexpandable, it’s just that Kaidou seems to like the number three, and the other qualified ones are all Arceus’s direct subordinates, so there have always been three disasters.

Expanding this position requires demonstrating powerful combat ability and achieving certain feats. Compared to this, challenging an existing Disaster seems slightly easier.

For Jack, the agile King and Olga are tough opponents, and competing with a more ”clumsy” opponent like Queen by stamina is his most suitable method.

”Such things... you don’t need to deliberately tell me! Rest a bit and hurry to depart, Mandfeish should’ve received the order too. For specifics, ask Lord Arceus yourself.”

Queen ”kindly” gave ”praise” for Jack’s lofty ambitions, then returned to his research lab.

Their way of choosing opponents dealt a certain blow to Queen’s heart, so he didn’t provide detailed task specifics.

Soon after Queen left, a gigantic Gyarados head emerged in the Inner Sea; this was Jack’s previous sparring partner. His defensive fighting style is set, the recent training was undergoing a beating from a Gyarados underwater.

It was an outer perimeter Gyarados, crossing the waterfall to aid Jack’s training; it’s not a difficult task for them, even as regular giant Magikarps, they could pull ships over outer waterfalls.

The ocean is Jack’s home field as a member of the Fishman Race, but it’s also the domain of the Gyarados. The Gyarados evolved from the modified Wano Kuni native Magikarp also inherited their predecessor’s Machamp-like strength, and its massive size posed a significant challenge for Jack.

Due to the impact on Queen’s mindset, once Jack recovered, he once again found Arceus.

”You’ve come at the right time, just take this thing along and escort it with the supply transport ship to find Mandfeish, he’ll arrange his own personnel.”

A magical energy hand handed Jack a vial of medicine, and without determining the exact time, Tiger’s fate was death from blood loss. Since he refused a blood transfusion, it respects his wishes to change to special medicine treatment instead.

Besides water breathing and enhanced strength, humans and Fishmen are not fundamentally different, so their medicines are interchangeable, saving quite a bit of trouble.

”Understood, I will hurry over there.”

”When you arrive, follow Mandfeish’s command, don’t rush in alone.”

”Yes.”

After that, Jack set off on his journey with the supplies, and Mandfeish had already received orders and departed from Fishman Island.

Jack still had some traveling time, but there was plenty of time. The information Omanyte eavesdropped on suggested they were just preparing to act, so there’s enough time to intervene.

”Fish, going out on a mission again?”

”Yes, don’t worry, it’s a small task, and it seems to have some connection with Tiger this time. If you’re concerned, let Sharley do a divination.”

He didn’t believe in those divination results, thinking granting GT-2 a wetland park was inconsequential, merely a coincidence.

However, the residents of Fishman Island mostly believe in such things; it can serve as a placebo. After Sharley concluded with safe results, Rushaka felt significantly reassured.

Meanwhile, on another island, Fisher Tiger accepted another task, returning Koala home.

Three years ago, although he rescued those slaves, the World Government did not forgive them, searching worldwide for traces of these slaves.

They hid on this island; Koala was too young, and her hometown was too far away, leaving them helpless, having no choice but to entrust Tiger.
