THE GOD EATER

In fact, Lady Red’s eyes were still widening in shock at the sight of Loki’s skin morphing right before her eyes in a way that no forger should be capable of when he shot the gun at her. She could only hastily put up a desperate defense when she sensed the danger.

With a single thought, she made her mutated Life Ability erupt from her. So fire exploded outwards from her as if she were a volcano erupting violently.

The airship beneath them immediately took the brunt of the explosion. It was directly broken in two by the force of the explosion. Then the fire clung onto the airship and began burning it.

Amelia was the second one to be affected by the explosion. As the fire washed over her, she was incinerated where she stood. Amelia didn’t have time to scream before she was scattered as black ashes in the wind.

Loki also experienced what Amelia experienced, but the explosion wasn’t as powerful as the meteor that nearly landed on him or the rank 6 talisman that once exploded in his face, so it couldn’t do anything to him.

The power of her attack was 5(Dao Status) × 5(Telekinesis Metac) × (5(Life Ability) + 5(Mind) + 90 Energy Well) × (5(Fire Engine) + 5(Living Armament) + 5(Energy Amplifier) +5(Force Lever) + 5(Overclock)) × (500% Overdrive + 90% Energy Nexus), which is 368,750 units of power.

This can be considered impressive for a rank 5 cultivator, but it is not enough to breach his defense even without using the Vengeful Bones Metac.

In fact, he didn’t feel any heat from the fire at all. The worst thing that he experienced was the force of the explosion, as the fire caused the air to expand violently as a shockwave.

The bullet that was shot was also impacted by the force of the explosion. In fact, this was the true purpose of the explosion. Lady Red had initiated the explosion to block or smash the bullet aside.

But things didn’t work as planned because the bullet was coated with the power of the Splitting Edge Metac, so the bullet was able to cut through the fire and the force of the explosion like the edge of a blade cutting through water.

Both the fire and the terrible explosive force of the air expanded and parted around the bullet easily like oil on water. Then the bullet buried itself in Lady Red’s small chest.

The power of the attack had been 5(Dao Status) × (4(Telekinesis Metac) + 4(Splitting Edge)) × (5(Life Ability) + 5(Mind) + 5(Will) + 4(Soul) + 900% Energy Well) × (5(Body Lever) + 5(Living Armament) + 5(Energy Amplifier) + 5(Force Lever) + 5(Bleeding) 5(Sting) + 5(Weakness) + 5(Multiple Strike) + 5(Compound Damage)) × (400% Overdrive + 900% Energy Nexus), which is 655,200 units.

He had used the power of two pathways for that attack. Even so, he had held back a little bit and hadn’t used the Lightning Engine Metac because it had a way of letting the Splitting Edge Metac and the Bleed Metac go out of control.

Without using the Lightning Engine Metac, there was no lightning coating the bullet. The bullet just had a red glow around it. That red glow remained on the wound that the bullet inflicted as it struck her chest.

The Splitting Edge Metac was the first to take effect as soon as the bullet made contact with her skin. This Divine Metac split her skin, the muscles beneath it, the bones, and the internal organs as well.

Nothing could stop the bullet as the Splitting Edge made it cut through her like a hot knife through butter. Then the other Metacs took effect, such as the Multiple Strike Metac and the Compound Damage Metac, which worked together to cause half of her chest to explode out of her back along with the bullet.

Next, the Sting Metac and Weakness Metac transformed the debilitating physical injury into a debilitating mental injury that made her lose consciousness immediately. Finally, the Bleed Metac will ensure that the large gaping hole on her chest will remain for a long time.

The single attack knocked Lady Red out and caused her to fall from the sky. She didn’t wake up until she landed on the ground from a height of over 100 meters.

Even when she woke up, she was too weak to do anything and could only lie on the ground moaning in pain. This was because both her body and mind had been injured six times by that single attack.

The Multiple Strikes Metac had made her incur six times the power of 655,200 units, while the Compound Damage Metac had ensured that she actually suffered more than 6 × 655,200, which is 3,931,200.

So Loki wasn’t surprised that she couldn’t muster any strength. In fact, he would be far too surprised if she could still move after that much damage to her every part of her existence including her mind.

She was on the ground while he was still floating in the air, looking down at her. As he looked at his handiwork, he said to himself in satisfaction, “It is good that I didn’t use that Lightning Engine Metac or she would be ashes right now.”

If he had used the Lightning Engine Metac, the Splitting Edge Metac, and the Bleed Metac, they would have attached to the lightning to produce red lightning capable of cutting anything and everything.

The Bleed Metac would make the red lightning attach and stick to anything that the Splitting Edge cut. Because of this, the red lightning wouldn’t disperse and would instead continue to spread.

As the red lightning spreads, it will cut more things, and as it cuts more things, it will attach to them, which will cause it to spread more instead of dispersing. So the red lightning will continue to consume his energy to wreak havoc until all that is left are white ashes.

This thought made him chuckle and say, “That Lightning Engine Metac is always trying to do too much.”
