Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1034: Chapter 1034: Creating a Brand

”Alright then!” An Hao took the opportunity to say, ”Having some clothes is better than getting nothing at all!”

”Yeah, who could argue with that, let’s get going quickly.” Wang Bapi couldn’t wait to shoo them away.

”Okay! Then it’s settled.” An Hao finally achieved her goal.

Her purpose for coming with An Ping this time was to move this batch of clothing.

Therefore, they brought a few more people along. Each person loaded two bundles onto their bicycle, and just like that, they took the clothes back with them.

Once back, An Hao called over the employees who were working on the greenhouse.

She began arranging the next steps.

”Sis, what are you going to do with all these work clothes? They’re not nice to wear, and they won’t sell. If I had known, I would have suggested ordering some pretty clothes instead.” But if you can’t guess what An Hao is planning to do with these clothes, then what?

”Idiot! The regular clothes, can’t they sell those? After buying clothes, the money recirculated is still their capital. The goal is to make sure they can’t sell them!” An Hao said.

”But what are we going to do with these clothes?” Wang Erzhu and Liu Xiaolian didn’t understand either.

An Shuchao was getting older and couldn’t keep up with the times, so seeing his daughter with so many clothes, he was more confused than anyone.

”I’m going to advertise our greenhouse vegetables,” An Hao revealed.

Nowadays, there are many people selling greenhouse vegetables, and although they make money, it definitely can’t compare to before.

Back then, it was a unique product, and the income was the best.

In the past two years, they had expanded production and hired people.

While sales went up, the costs also significantly increased.

All things considered, they actually weren’t earning as much as before.

An Hao thought about it, and relying solely on the few regular customers they had developed themselves wasn’t enough.

People in neighboring villages had also started growing greenhouse vegetables, so the villages and towns around their own had begun to face strong competition.

How could they make their vegetables known to everyone?

An Hao felt they needed to create a brand.

Yes, that’s right!

She wanted to make the business of selling vegetables bigger and stronger!

Just like selling clothes requires a brand, their vegetable sales also needed one, for future promotion!

”How exactly do you plan to advertise?” With only a general idea from An Hao, no one could imagine.

”By using people to advertise.”

An Hao shared her thoughts.

They would print their brand and the purchase address on all clothes, then give them away as gifts.

Retail customers who bought a certain amount of vegetables could also get a free piece of clothing.

Wholesale buyers who purchased a certain quantity of vegetables could also receive a free piece of clothing.

Regular cooperating units could also have clothing given to them for free.

Wearing these clothes might not look good, and An Hao didn’t know if people from the ’80s and ’90s would mind such things.

But she was certain that those who worked in the fields, carried heavy loads for transport, and anyone who did physical labor and feared dirtying their clothes would definitely choose to wear this kind of clothing.

As long as people moved around, the advertisements would reach thousands of households.

Advertising shirts were very popular in the last century.

An Hao was inspired by this, which is why she came up with such a method.

Instead of letting Wang Bapi benefit from the five thousand yuan, it was better to advertise for their own vegetable fields.

This was also considered an initial investment.

To establish the brand first.

Having a good brand would command strong competitive power.

After An Hao explained this, everyone understood.

So, they began figuring out how to print on the clothes.
