Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1007: Chapter 1007: Ending Her Professional Life

She had also sent a letter to the journal explaining the reasons, requesting that the article be withdrawn, or the name of the submitter be corrected.

Very quickly, dramatic changes took place regarding this matter in less than two days.

Everyone knew that Lei Linxuan had plagiarized An Hao’s paper.

But since the person plagiarized didn’t pursue the matter further, the plagiarist only had to accept the school’s punishment.

In light of this incident, the school punished Lei Linxuan. Because she plagiarized unknowingly and her attitude in admitting her mistake was relatively good, and she stepped forward to clarify in a short time, the school issued her a warning, hoping to deter other young people from dishonesty.

However, Cheng Yu, the instigator of this incident, was severely punished by being expelled from the school due to the deplorable nature of his actions!

The incident that occurred at Military Medical University quickly spread throughout the affiliated hospital.

There were many interns who came for practical experience, and they would discuss school matters during their free time.

Thus, the news about An Hao having a paper published in a national journal spread quickly.

Thoracic Surgery, doctors’ office.

Ma Mei was just looking at An Hao’s paper, feeling more and more uneasy the more she read.

She had been working for so many years, not even achieving the position of associate senior doctor, as writing papers was her weakest point.

Yet this young girl, after simply assisting Yan Ye in one operation, was able to write such an excellent paper.

This situation made her envious, jealous, and resentful.

As an intern, this young girl was already showing her edge. If she really joined the thoracic surgery department one day, wouldn’t Ma Mei be left with no place for herself?

Ma Mei looked at the magazine in annoyance, and with a smack, she threw it onto the table.

”Ms. Ma, you seem to be in a bad mood today?” Ruan Fangfang came to deliver a medical record and just happened to witness this scene.

”It’s nothing,” Ma Mei shook her head.

Ruan Fangfang’s gaze fell upon the journal, and she casually picked it up, flipping through to find the article.

She skipped the content and went straight to the authorship of the paper, and upon seeing An Hao’s name, she understood why Ma Mei was so irritable.

”As long as she is in the thoracic surgery department for one day, she will always be a trouble and a threat,” Ruan Fangfang said.

”Then do you have any way to drive her out?” Ma Mei looked up at her and asked in a low voice.

”Don’t worry. Leave this matter to me to handle,” Ruan Fangfang whispered close to Ma Mei.

”What can you do?” After all, An Hao was brought in by Yan Ye, and the position was personally promised by the dean; it wouldn’t be easy to shake and squeeze her out.

”You don’t need to worry about this; I will definitely handle it well,” Ruan Fangfang assured Ma Mei, patting her chest.

”Don’t mess things up!” Ma Mei knew this girl Ruan Fangfang. She acts without certainty and lacks restraint. If something goes wrong, it would be the end of everything.

At that time, not only staying in the thoracic surgery department would be out of the question, but even the hospital would be doubtful.

”Don’t worry! I won’t make a move personally,” Ruan Fangfang said.

”Then tell me, what are you going to do?” Ma Mei was still not reassured and felt the need to get to the bottom of it to settle her mind.

Ruan Fangfang smiled, a vicious emotion flashing in the depths of her eyes: ”I’m going to end her surgical career!”

”You’re going to!!!!” Ma Mei became agitated.

”Shh—” Ruan Fangfang quickly covered Ma Mei’s mouth, ”Auntie, don’t worry, I’ve got someone else to do it, and you can trust their reputation. There won’t be any problems!”
