Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1193: Xie Heilong Come

”Oh.” Yao Qilin nodded slightly. ”So, what are your next plans? How about joining my group? You’re an evil dragon, and your status is higher than those weak demons, so you shouldn’t waste your time with inferior creatures like them.”

”Even though they are inferior to us, they have helped me a lot since I ascended to this realm. I’m evil, but I’m not an ungrateful person.” Yao Qilin could have forced Zhang Fei [5] to go with her with her superior cultivation, but she hesitated to do so, mainly because of his calmness and indifferent attitude towards her.

”Up to you, then.” Yao Qilin looked at Tian Taiyang for a while before flying away, but she threw a token to Zhang Fei [5]. ”If you change your mind, you can activate it, and I will send people to pick you up.”

After Yao Qilin disappeared, Tian Taiyang asked Zhang Fei [5]. ”Why didn’t you tell that woman that you are the one and only Calamity Demon Dragon?”

”Oh?” Tian Taiyang’s question surprised Zhang Fei [5]. ”How did you recognize my beast’s identity if you were dead a long time ago?”

”Hahaha!” Tian Taiyang laughed at that. ”Your ignorance amused me, kid. Did you know that there can only be one Calamity Demon Dragon in this universe? The Calamity Demon Dragon is the equivalent of the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, one born of Yin and one born of Yang. Both dragons have existed since the primordial era, just like the Primordial Genesis Beast and the Primordial Nihility Beast. However, the primordial beasts killed the two dragons, especially since their existence threatened them.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei [5] frowned at that. ”How could the existence of two dragons threaten the two primordial beasts? The Genesis Beast’s abilities are related to creation, and the Nihility Beast’s abilities are related to nothingness; thus, both should be superior to the two dragons, right?”

Tian Taiyang shook his head. ”I don’t understand why the two primordial beasts killed the two dragons, especially since I’ve never met either of them. I heard it from stories circulating in the Ancient Era, and some people say that the source was the two dragons who lived in that era. Since you are the current Calamity Demon Dragon, you should be careful of the two primordial beasts. If they find out about your existence, they will send their avatars to kill you. Who is the current Five-Clawed Golden Dragon?”

”Long Wuzhao is the Golden Dragon Emperor of the Paradise Realm.” Tian Taiyang naturally had never heard of his name, but Zhang Fei [5] immediately explained several things about him according to his knowledge. ”He has lived for a very long time, and he has become the strongest cultivator in this realm. Given his current status and the fact that the four peril beasts are subordinates of the Primordial Nihility Beast, they should have heard of him. However, I have never heard of the two of them coming after him; he is still alive and safe until now. Even so, I appreciate your warning, and I will definitely be more careful.”

”That’s weird.” Tian Taiyang muttered to himself. ”The Calamity Demon Dragon and the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon of my era died at their hands; they sent their avatars specifically to kill them. Could it be that many changes have occurred after my death?”

”You died millions of years ago, remember? Since then, this universe has experienced many era changes until it reached the current era, and each era brought many changes to this universe.” Tian Taiyang nodded his head several times in agreement with Zhang Fei [5]. ”As for today, the cultivators from the Paradise Realm cannot go to the Ancient Realm, but the ancients can descend here, and I have met two of them. Moreover, the Calamity Demon Dragon is not my true identity, and I have another identity.”

”Oh?” Tian Taiyang looked at Zhang Fei [5] with surprise. ”What exactly is your identity?”

Zhang Fei [5] immediately returned to his human form, surprising him further. ”I was born and grew up as a human, and I still maintain my human identity, even though I have become the Calamity Demon Dragon.”

”You are the strangest living creature I have ever met, kid.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei [5] softly laughed and turned back into a half-dragon. ”I don’t have a way to free you yet, and I want to ask someone about you first, so I’ll be leaving now. She should know a way to free you, but I doubt she’ll tell me, especially since she’s repeatedly toyed with me.”

”Who is the person you mean?”

”Guang Zhiyi.”

”Are—” Tian Taiyang swallowed his words because Zhang Fei [5] had already disappeared from his sight. ”Is he joking with me? How could he know Guang Zhiyi? Sigh! I have no choice but to wait for him to return, and I hope he can release me from this eternal prison.”

When Zhang Fei [5] arrived on the surface, Yao Qilin and her subordinates were no longer there, and he opened the map to monitor the situation. He frowned when he found many enemies ganging up on Qing Qiu’er and two disciples with her, and he immediately used the Nine Cloud Steps to go to their location.

With his current speed and the technique, Zhang Fei [5] could reach their location in just a few seconds. He summoned the extermination demon sword, channeled his light element, and attacked those enemies. ”Second Move! Heaven-Cleaving Slash!”

A giant light qi sword shot towards those enemies, splitting those standing in its path and slashing the ground at the same time. Zhang Fei [5] landed in front of Qing Qiu’er and the others, slashing his sword horizontally. ”First Move! Severing Slash!”

A wide, long, light qi sword shot out from Zhang Fei [5]’s sword and moved horizontally towards their enemies. In the blink of an eye, those demons and evil beasts had fallen to the ground with their bodies split in two, and their blood soaked the ground beneath them.

Zhang Fei [5] turned to them, but the two disciples were stunned after witnessing him kill so many demons and evil beasts with just two sword techniques. ”Why are you two stunned, Bai Fengyun and Han Ziyan?”

”Haha.” Qing Qiu’er laughed softly. ”How can they not be stunned? Our enemies just now were quite numerous, and some of them had already reached the Celestial King Realm, but you killed them in the blink of an eye.”

Bai Fengyun took a deep breath before answering him. ”Please forgive me, Elder Zhang. I initially still doubted Sect Master Qing’s decision to choose you, but your sword attacks just now made me realize that we had underestimated you too much.”

”That’s true.” Han Ziyan nodded in agreement. ”How did you manage to kill them so quickly, Elder Zhang?”

Zhang Fei [5] enveloped his body with his light qi. ”My light element and elemental law have long since reached their peak, and my second sword technique can cut through anything, including qi protection. Moreover, they were unprepared for my sudden attack, so they didn’t have time to dodge it. If they were in a prepared position, I wouldn’t have been able to do it.”

”Huh?” Both Bai Fengyun and Han Ziyan were shocked to hear that. ”Have you really mastered the light elemental law, Elder Zhang?”

”Have you two never learned the elemental laws of your elements?” Both of them shook their heads at Zhang Fei [5], who immediately looked at the embarrassed Qing Qiu’er. ”Your elements are Fire and Wind, right?”

”My elements are actually light and wind, Elder Zhang.” Bai Fengyun answered first.

Han Ziyan nodded at him. ”My main element is fire, but I also have the earth element, Elder Zhang.”

Zhang Fei [5] already knew that, and he just wanted to have a small talk with them. He then imparted the method for mastering the light and wind elemental laws to Bai Fengyun and the fire elemental law method to Han Ziyan. ”As for the earth element, I don’t have a method for mastering it, so I can’t teach you that.”

”Huh? Does that mean you also have fire, light, and wind elements, Elder Zhang?” Both asked in shock.

Zhang Fei [5] and Qing Qiu’er suddenly detected a powerful aura flying fast towards them. ”Xie Heilong.”

Zhang Fei [5] swiftly transformed into his half-fox form, wrapped three of his tails around their waists, brought them into an invisible state, and took them away from that place.

A few minutes later, the black dragon, Xie Heilong, landed at their previous location. He frowned as he tried to check the surrounding area to no avail. He then crouched at the side of the slash hole from Zhang Fei [5]’s previous attack. ”Who used this technique? I can sense the remnants of that person’s light element, and it is no less pure than that of the winged race. Moreover, I already used my maximum speed, but that person was still able to escape from me.”

Xie Heilong’s subordinates landed behind him. ”What happened, Lord? Why are you in such a hurry to go to this place?”

”Hmm?” Xie Heilong thought for a moment. ”I want you to spread out and search for someone, but I do not know his or her identity. That person is a human who possesses a pure light element, and that person could pose a threat to us, so I want you to find that person as soon as possible.”

”Yes, Lord.”
