Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1161: Serpentra-Tian Kui’s Decision

Zhang Fei [5] decided to leave Wei Xiaoya in the Wei Kingdom and went to the other three kingdoms, taking the three princesses with him.

Huangfu Ziqian, Qiang Yin, and Zhu Jing looked at Zhang Fei [5] with puzzled looks, mainly because of his age and cultivation.

”How can you age so fast?”

”Has your cultivation surpassed our parents?”

”The last time we met you was four months ago, right?”

The three princesses asked in unison, which amused Zhang Fei [5]. ”I age much faster because I went to a higher realm called the Paradise Realm, and my cultivation has already surpassed the Seven Divine Realms after being cultivated for more than two decades.”

”Two... two decades!” The three princesses were stunned in shock, especially since their last meeting was four months ago according to their time.

Zhang Fei [5] shared various details with them, which left the princesses dumbfounded for quite a while. ”I will be bringing my in-laws with me, and my father-in-law will hand over the Wei Kingdom to his second brother. Therefore, I hope the three of you can help me manage my shop there, and my subordinates will occasionally come to replenish the stock in all the shops.”

”Why don’t you offer us to go with you?” Zhu Jing spoke with a tone of jealousy.

Qiang Yin was also jealous. ”We’ve known each other and worked together for quite some time, but you only brought Wei Xiaoya with you.”

Unlike them, Huangfu Ziqian didn’t say anything, especially since he was no different from Zhang Fei [5]’s slave, even though he never enslaved her. Despite this, she hoped in her heart that he would offer her to go with him to the Paradise Realm.

”Do you guys want to go there?” The three princesses looked eager and hesitant when Zhang Fei [5] asked that. ”I can take you three there, but you have to think it through first. All of you hold high statuses and live comfortably in this realm, but you will be ordinary people there. Moreover, the cultivators there are far stronger than you, and you won’t be able to go anywhere until you break through to the Five Celestial Realms. Even after reaching that stage, you won’t necessarily be able to travel freely because you don’t have backers there, and I can’t possibly protect you all the time. Additionally, I don’t get along with your three families, so I won’t take them there, and you’ll have to leave them.”

Although they wanted to go to the Paradise Realm, the three princesses were too comfortable with their lives and statuses in their home realm, which made it difficult for them to live new lives as ordinary people. In the end, they chose to give up, preferring to stay in their realm and live their lives as usual.

After discussing some matters, Zhang Fei [5] sent the three princesses back to their respective kingdoms. He then went to the Jiang Kingdom to meet Ling Yingfei and Jiang Bai, but he didn’t spend much time there, and he left again after finishing his conversation with them.

Zhang Fei [5] arrived at the Demon Purgatory Realm, but Serpentera and Tian Kui suddenly appeared in front of him. ”I already expected you two to be here.”

”Haha.” Tian Kui laughed as he patted Zhang Fei [5]’s shoulder. ”Great job, kid! You have reached the Five Celestial Realms according to our original estimation.”

Zhang Fei [5] shook his head. ”You two estimated that I would break through to this stage in five years, but in fact, it took me 20 years to reach it.”

”That’s because you took too many cultivation paths at once.” Serpentera then touched Zhang Fei [5]’s other shoulder. ”Kid, we haven’t told you about this matter, but we decided this a long time ago. Since you have reached the Five Celestial Realms, we will make a contract with you.”

”What—”

”Please don’t reject us, kid.” Tian Kui spoke with a low sigh. ”We are both the last of our races, remember? Even though two of your wives have inherited our bloodlines, they are two different races.”

Serpentera then spoke. ”Back then, my master asked me to choose a new master if I managed to find the right person to become one, and I believe you are the one. We are still stronger than you now, but we believe you will surpass us. No! You will surpass all cultivators in this universe, including the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon Emperor. Therefore, we have decided to become your beast contracts, and we will be your strength to face the obstacles that will come your way in the future.”

”But—”

”Alright! This is not a discussion!” Tian Kui and Serpentera immediately restricted Zhang Fei [5]’s movement. ”We have decided this with mature thought, and we will be your strength from today onward.”

After that, Tian Kui and Serpentera took turns making contracts with Zhang Fei [5], leaving him helpless. In a few minutes, the contract between them was formed, and the two ancient beasts officially became his beast contracts. ”Master.”

”Sigh.” Zhang Fei [5] let out a soft sigh before cupping his hands to them. ”Old Kui! Old Snake! Thank you for your trust in me.”

”Hahaha!” Tian Kui laughed at that. ”We’ve known each other for a while, and you’re our master now, so drop the formalities.”

”So, what are your plans now?” Serpentera asked.

Zhang Fei [5] hurriedly explained his plans regarding the Moonlit Passion Sect and several others, surprising both Tian Kui and Serpentera. They didn’t expect that he had gone that far, and he even managed to get one of the supreme sects in the Paradise Realm in his grasp. ”I will take you two there, and I hope you two can help me protect it for now.”

”You are our master now, so we will help you to protect your sect.” Tian Kui and Serpentera answered in unison. ”However, we must keep our identities hidden from the public, or the situation will turn dire if those four evil beasts learn of our return, and they will attack your sect with full force to capture us.”

Zhang Fei [5] nodded in understanding. ”You two don’t need to think too much about it, and I will use my body modification ability on you two later. This way, no one will recognize your true identities, and the situation will definitely be under control.”

”We will follow your plan.”

Serpentera then turned Zhang Fei [5] to the palace. ”We haven’t found a solution to Wang Yin’s situation, and she kept waiting for you for the past few months, so you should go see her now.”

”I’ll go see Wang Yin now.”

”Wait a minute.” Tian Kui suddenly stopped him. ”I think you should go to the Abyssal Realm after this, as there are changes in that realm that might benefit you.”

Zhang Fei [5] recalled that Morgana and Oz the First had gone to that realm before he obtained the Blood Fire, and he planned to take them to the Paradise Realm. ”What kind of change do you mean, Old Kui?”

”The change occurred because of the Nine Yin Soul Banner.” Zhang Fei [5] was surprised when Tian Kui mentioned the ancient artifact, and he remembered Feng Yichen telling him that the banner once belonged to the Heavenly Fiend Demon God. However, it fell into the hands of the Demon Emperor of the Abyssal Realm after he was defeated by a woman from the Winged Race, who threw the banner to the Three Mortal Realms. ”The banner suddenly went out of control some time ago, and the soul wraiths in it turned to attack the demons from that realm. Fortunately, they have a powerful barrier, which is strong enough to prevent those soul wraiths from endangering their cities.”

After hearing all that, Zhang Fei [5] hurriedly contacted Morgana, and the witch demon immediately informed him of the situation in the Abyssal Realm. He asked her to wait for him to arrive before sending the two ancient beasts to the Moonlit Passion Sect, and he went to Wang Yin’s palace afterwards.

”Fei!” Zhang Fei [5] sighed softly as he saw Wang Yin running towards him, especially since her situation hadn’t changed. Despite this, he immediately greeted her, hugged her, and kissed her for a few minutes. ”I missed you so much, Fei! You said you would visit me often, but you never showed up in the past few months.”

Zhang Fei [5] rubbed her cheek. ”Sorry, Yin’er. Some things happened some time ago, and they made me feel too weak. Therefore, I’ve been focusing on my cultivation all this time, and I’ve surpassed the Seven Divine Realms now.”

”Huh?” Wang Yin observed Zhang Fei [5]’s body in shock, discovering that not only had his cultivation skyrocketed, but he had also grown quite old. ”How can you change this drastically in just a few months?”

Zhang Fei [5] released Wang Yin from his embrace. ”I will tell you everything later, but we have to go now, and I will take you away to the Abyssal Realm.”

”What about Oz the Second and the others?” Wang Yin asked, following at Zhang Fei [5]’s side.

”They are not demon cultivators, so I cannot take them with us for now. However, I will pick them up in the future, and I will take them to a new place.” Zhang Fei [5] immediately opened the gate to the Abyssal Realm and brought Wang Yin into it.
