The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 380: Chapter 380: Not Much of an Appetite

When Su Yu placed the food on the table, Han Jing eagerly took a few bites and suddenly felt that as long as he continued to cook for her, she could forgive anything.

After Han Jing ate for a while, she suddenly looked up, her lips still glistening, and said to Su Yu, ”I feel like I haven’t had much of an appetite lately.”

Su Yu...

He had never seen a woman who could eat more than her, and she actually said she had no appetite?

And besides, her mouth wasn’t even wiped clean yet, really no appetite?

Su Yu was quite puzzled.

”If you don’t have an appetite, then stop eating. I’ll pour you a glass of water.” Su Yu looked at the teapot on the table and saw that the tea was cold. He picked it up and went out to order someone to bring a hot pot over.

Han Jing...

What she meant was that from now on, he should keep cooking for her! What did he mean by, ”If you don’t have an appetite, then stop eating”?

She hadn’t eaten much yet!

Han Jing suddenly felt like she had shot herself in the foot. Why was his comprehension ability so poor!

Han Jing felt a bit heartbroken.

While Su Yu was out getting water, she lowered her head and continued shoveling rice into her mouth. Who could tell her why this sweet and sour pork ribs were so delicious? And this spicy boiled beef, why was it so flavorful! The food at the Princess Mansion was usually on the lighter side, so it was rare to eat something so tasty. Han Jing couldn’t have had a better appetite!

Han Jing even drank two sips of soup, with added fresh bamboo shoots, which were fresh and crisp, ah, it was really delicious!

At this moment, she was even a little nostalgic for Tom Yum soup, her favorite!

When Su Yu returned, he saw Han Jing eating with great enthusiasm, one bite after another without stopping.

Su Yu couldn’t help but frown, ”Eat slower, no one’s snatching it away from you. Didn’t you say you had no appetite? Be careful not to overeat and upset your stomach.”

Han Jing...

She felt she couldn’t communicate with him anymore.

To prevent him from actually taking the food away and not letting her eat, Han Jing continued to act as if she hadn’t said anything earlier, quietly and silently eating more than half of the four dishes and a soup, and only when she was very full did she comfortably and contently squint her eyes and wipe her mouth.

Then she looked up, calmly stared at Su Yu: ”I really don’t have much of an appetite.”

Even as calm as Su Yu was, he couldn’t help but twitch at the corner of his eye; four plates were half-empty, the soup had less than half left, and even a bowl of rice was almost finished, yet she’s telling him she has no appetite... Where’s her face?

He really didn’t have the heart to expose her.

”Then what would you like to eat? Do you want to bring the chef from the Princess Mansion over?” Su Yu felt that exposing her might embarrass her, so he patiently asked what she wanted to eat. Was it that she wasn’t used to the food he cooked? If so, he could have the chef from the mansion cook tomorrow; if that didn’t work, Baihua Garden had famous chefs from all over, so whatever she wanted to eat would be available.

However... he really couldn’t see any sign that she didn’t like the food he cooked.

Han Jing...

”No need.” She shook her head, firmly rejecting him.

Did he really not understand what she was getting at? Han Jing’s heart was breaking.

How could he not guess even this little bit?

Su Yu continued, ”Then should we have the chef from the mansion cook for you tomorrow? Or, I’ll take you to Baihua Garden tomorrow, and you can bring back whoever’s cooking you like, how about it?”

Han Jing was about to grit her teeth, coldly spat out the words: ”Not great.”
