The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 359: Chapter 359: Did She Confess to Su Yu?

Because she seemed to have... confessed to Su Yu last night?

Han Jing covered her face. Ah, ah, ah, was she too forward? Wouldn’t Su Yu think she was shameless or something? Oh, oh, no, no, what did Su Yu say? Was it okay? She could like him? Oh come on, did he have to be so haughty! She liked him, yet he acted all reluctant!

However... Han Jing remembered Su Yu’s words, ”I was the one who was improper with you,” and she couldn’t help but feel her face heat up. Did this mean that he liked her too?

Yet, Han Jing’s mind quickly wandered off as she poked her cheek, starting to despise herself again. ”Even if he likes you, why are you so excited?”

It wasn’t until her stomach let out a slightly awkward ”grumble” that Han Jing shook her head, shrugged off the mess of thoughts, got dressed, and walked out of the inner chamber.

Mu Jin saw her come out and smiled, ”Miss, you’re awake? I’ll go fetch some water for you to wash up.”

”Huh? When did you get here?” Han Jing was a bit surprised seeing Mu Jin.

Mu Jin...

Could it be that last night, Miss didn’t see her at all?

”Miss, since you’ve been pregnant, has your memory been failing?” Mu Jin asked candidly.

Han Jing...

She really didn’t remember when Mu Jin came over. But Han Jing quickly looked at Mu Jin and asked, ”Does Mother know you came here? No one told her about what happened yesterday, right?”

Only after asking did Han Jing realize that Su Yaogeng likely didn’t know about yesterday’s events; otherwise, he should have come by.

”Miss, don’t worry. I came here with the Prince last night. The Princess doesn’t know about what happened. The Prince told her he had something to give you, and that’s why you stayed.” Mu Jin looked at Han Jing, now safe and sound, and felt relieved. Last night, when An Chuxue told her, she was still a bit scared. Who would have thought someone would try to kidnap their Miss while they were away? How awful!

From now on, she mustn’t leave their Miss’s side easily.

Han Jing nodded. As long as Mother didn’t know, that was good. This matter shouldn’t be revealed to Mother, as nothing happened anyway. Knowing would only cause unnecessary worry.

Han Jing went to freshen up, and when she finished and returned, breakfast was already set on the table.

Han Jing was surprised to see the breakfast laid on the table. It looked simple and chic, and the portions were not the tiny ones she usually had at the Princess Mansion but normal-sized. She couldn’t help but think of Su Yu.

She eagerly took a sip of porridge, and the aroma of the meat and porridge blended perfectly, making her appetite insatiable.

The corners of her lips couldn’t help but curl up. Could it be that Su Yu got up early to cook breakfast for her?

But where was he?

Han Jing looked up and saw only Mu Jin standing calmly to the side, with no one else around.

There was only one set of tableware on the table.

Han Jing couldn’t help but ask, ”Where’s Su Yu? And An’an and Uncle Yun? And Lan Ling, why are they all missing? Have they eaten yet? And you, haven’t you had breakfast yet, come and eat together!”

Mu Jin looked at Han Jing, then at the outside, and said something that made Han Jing particularly flustered.

”Miss, you’d better eat by yourself. The Prince specifically instructed me this morning not to stay here to eat.”
