CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 292: Chapter 300: Try Again One More Time

Jane Sampson had a bewildered expression and didn’t respond, was it or wasn’t it then?

At this time, a sentence surfaced in Jane’s mind.

No one can wake a person who is pretending to sleep.

Well, for her right now, she also couldn’t pry open the mouth of someone playing dumb.

Was James Black secretly laughing at her for making a fool of herself?

Afterward, the two of them quietly finished their breakfast until James Black started cleaning up the bowl and chopsticks and then spoke to Jane Sampson again, urging her to go to the bedroom to change clothes and prepare to leave.

”Oh, okay.” Jane Sampson nodded and then entered the bedroom, casually closing the door behind her, took a clean dress from the cloakroom, tossed the clothes onto the bed, and her gaze once again fell on the black mobile phone she had thrown on the bed.

321203.

Should she try it again?

What if it’s real this time?

Well.

Better not.

She had been tricked once already.

Having just vowed never to be deceived again with such certainty, if she was found to have been fooled again, how embarrassing would that be?

Why would James Black be so kind as to tell her the password?

Right, she couldn’t be fooled. As a future big star, she had to maintain her clever image!

Having somehow convinced herself not to do something foolish again, Jane Sampson began to face another significant and embarrassing problem, not knowing if she could find the answer on the internet.

On how a woman, with only one hand, could successfully put on a bra.

How to fasten the buttons on the back of a bra?

This conundrum, after several attempts by Jane Sampson, remained unsolved.

Yesterday, it was Quincy Forest who helped her put it on. So today, could she call Quincy Forest to come over and help her once more?

Even if she had to endure Quincy Forest’s merciless teasing about being as flat as an airport, it would be tolerable.

After washing the dishes, James Black waited in the living room for nearly 20 minutes without seeing Jane Sampson come out. He glanced at the minute hand on his watch and, furrowing his eyebrows, walked towards the bedroom.

He suspected that Jane Sampson might have crawled back into the quilt.

”Jane Sampson.” James Black called out from outside the door and then turned the doorknob and walked in, while inside Jane Sampson was completely startled, not even remembering to blurt out ’don’t come in.’

”Ah! James Black! You pervert!” Jane Sampson threw the stuff in her hand towards James Black at the doorway.

James Black raised his hand and easily caught the thing Jane Sampson had thrown at him, taking a close look.

Well, it was her bra.

James Black instinctively stepped out and closed the door again.

But after shutting the door, his eyes fixed on the bra in his hand, his eyebrows slightly furrowed, and after just a second, he opened the door and went back in.

”Why didn’t you ask me to help you?”

This time, James Black walked straight in and stopped right in front of the flustered Jane Sampson.

Jane Sampson didn’t realize what she had thrown until after James Black had left.

Yes, it was the bra that she hadn’t managed to put on after trying for ten plus minutes.

Yes, and it was unfortunately that same black lace bra that had once hit James Black on the forehead.

What a coincidence, such inextricable fate!

Seeing James Black walk back in, Jane Sampson quickly turned around, her old face instantly flushed with embarrassment, but after hearing his words, she thought her face was probably beyond saving.

”First, put it on in the front by yourself, and I’ll help you with the buttons on the back, stop dawdling.” James Black handed the bra back to Jane Sampson, his gaze lingering on her slightly red ears for a few seconds, then at her back, he slowly curved the corners of his mouth into a smile.
