CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 267: Chapter 275: Sending to the Hospital

And those people over there, having this time, yet not knowing to recharge themselves properly, this circle will eliminate them one day, and they won’t feel wronged at all.

”That she is, she’s really something.” Hearing her idol and good friend being praised, Quincy Forest was as happy as if she herself had been complimented.

While everyone was saying this, Jane Sampson’s scene with the imposing pressure had just finished. Jane, suspended high in the air with the ropes slowly lowering her down, was about to be greeted by Quincy Forest running towards her when suddenly, the person who was descending uniformly at a steady speed, plummeted rapidly, scaring Quincy into dashing forward.

”Jane!”

Daniel Taylor was also quite shocked. No sooner had he spoken than Jane Sampson crashed directly onto a few wooden boards with a loud bang.

All one could say was that fortunately, Jane Sampson had quick reflexes. As she fell, she braced herself with her hand, landing in a crouched position with her knees bent and both hands supporting her on the ground.

The personnel controlling the harness were pale with fear and hurried over, ”I’m so sorry, Miss Sampson, I didn’t do it on purpose. When I was operating the system just now, it got stuck for a moment, and I don’t know what happened, it just suddenly went like this.”

”Jane, are you alright?” Seeing Jane Sampson’s pale face and forehead covered in sweat, Quincy Forest was so frightened she burst into tears.

When Jane Sampson hit the ground, the tremendous impact really made her vision go black for a few seconds, and it wasn’t until the personnel came to apologize that she began to regain her clarity.

”I’m fine.” Jane Sampson stood up and shook her head at Quincy Forest, ”Don’t cry, look, I’m fine, aren’t I? When I was up there, I felt something was wrong with the harness, so I reacted in time and took protective measures for myself.”

Jane Sampson grew up around Old Sir Sampton and often hung around Old Master Black, both of whom were of a defender origin. Naturally, they wouldn’t let Jane, a girl, be ignorant of everything.

Jane Sampson may not be able to fight off ten people single-handedly, but she certainly had basic emergency skills.

”Falling from such a height, it’s still safer to get checked out at the hospital.” Olivia Chip also looked worried. She swore that if it had been her up there, she most likely would have been dropped just like that, not having the capability to protect herself in the blink of an eye as Jane Sampson had.

”To the hospital.” Daniel Taylor called it, not just because of his significant relationship with Jane Sampson but even if it had been any regular actor, he would have insisted they be taken to the hospital.

In the end, Jane Sampson was sent straight to the local sanitation centre without even changing out of her costume. However, given the medical conditions of the centre were not the best, the doctor, after asking Jane a few questions and learning that she couldn’t exert much strength in her right hand, immediately had her sent to a large hospital in the city district for X-rays and further examination.

As Daniel Taylor was arranging the car, Quincy Forest ran back to the hotel to grab hers and Jane Sampson’s luggage. Considering the long distance to the city district, Jane noticed Daniel intending to accompany her and quickly stopped him, ”Brother-in-law, just let Jasmine Seven come with me, I think I probably just twisted my hand, it shouldn’t be anything serious. You guys have a tight schedule for the scenes tomorrow, and it’s a long way from the small town to the city. You stay in town, and if there’s really a serious problem, I’ll give you a call, and you won’t be too late.”

Daniel Taylor, his eyebrows furrowed, then said, ”Alright, I’ll check out what happened. Regardless, when the results are out, give me a call either way.”
