Chapter 797: Chapter 41: No Delay, No Debt

Clink, clink, clink——!

The sound of a bottle rolling on marble.

Because the Flaming Red Lips Bar was absolutely safe—as someone with an extraordinary relationship with Lucifer, Bucky didn’t even need to fear anyone trying to catch him showing up.

Although this was an even more dangerous place, as long as he didn’t use up the remaining two wishes from Lucifer, everything was fine.

As the investor of “Flaming Red Lips,” although the real ’employees’ here didn’t really appreciate him, the usual services were still provided without fail—Lucifer was rather generous in this regard.

In a private box, his body sprawled, Bucky felt a splitting headache, probably from drinking too much after talking with Lucifer last night, leading to a series of wild and untamed acts, not knowing how many times they had occurred.

He struggled to remove the arm of a woman draped around his neck. The woman, wearing only a short skirt, simply rolled over and continued to sleep.

Bucky rubbed his forehead and staggered to his feet. He checked the time—it was only just past eleven in the morning.

He felt parched… Ahhh, he really drank too much, even experiencing symptoms of dry heaves—the drinks here at Lucifer’s place were very special, capable of making one forget all troubles in a drunken stupor.

Bucky saw conductor Cage, the guy who had helped him escape, now looking even worse, with his mouth buried in the chest of a woman whose hair covered her face.

Bucky frowned and walked over to Cage, but not to wake him, rather to grab the woman’s hair, whom Cage was embracing, and give it a tug.

This quickly startled the woman awake.

The woman, awakened in this manner, seemed furious. As her eyes opened, her green pupils suddenly emitted a terrifying glow.

She opened her mouth toward Bucky… revealing a row of teeth sharp as a great white shark’s, resembling serrations. The woman let out a hissing sound at Bucky, her mouth opening wide, like an incredible funhouse mirror reflection.

Bucky’s frown deepened as he pinched his nose and looked at the angry woman—or rather, what couldn’t really be called a woman at this moment.

Banshee.

Bucky silently mouthed the name of this creature, waiting until the Banshee closed its blood-red mouth, before disdainfully saying, “Go ahead and eat me, see what your queen will do to you… I’m your queen’s contractor.”

The Banshee, at this point, like a startled wild cat, leaped onto the table, landing on all fours, assuming an aggressive stance toward Bucky.

But under Bucky’s gaze, the Banshee seemed to calm down from her anger at being woken, slowly stepping down from the table.

Her teeth were no longer sharp, her expression no longer savage, as she transformed back into a seductive woman with outstanding looks and figure.

She even leaned toward Bucky, resting against his chest, cooing coyly, “You’re so mean, I wasn’t fully awake yet.”

“Didn’t I tell you, give me a normal woman? What are you doing sneaking in here?” Bucky coldly stared at the provocative figure before him.

The Banshee was a monster that fed on men’s Essence Qi, and Bucky definitely didn’t want to touch it… Therefore, it must have sneaked in while he was drunk last night.

“I didn’t touch you. I just gave your friend a good time,” she giggled, gently pushing Bucky away and biting her finger alluringly, “Of course, if you want…”

“I don’t want to die young.”

Bucky coldly glanced at the Banshee again, then at conductor Cage—he looked much more haggard than yesterday, his face terribly pale.

The Banshee shrugged, dropping the seductive pose, and turned to walk out the door.

Bucky watched her back… the black, slender tail swaying freely in the air, words unsaid.

Undoubtedly, Lucifer, who granted him three wishes and hadn’t aged a day in decades, was a Witch… perhaps from Hell, which is why she had Banshee servants.

During the day, the bar didn’t open.

The hired ordinary staff weren’t around, so the real ’employees’ could relax a bit, although they couldn’t completely reveal their true forms, they would definitely leave witnesses questioning their sanity.

Bucky walked to the door, banging on it a few times, startling a few figures in the center of the bar’s dance floor, “The people I brought in are waking up soon. Can you hide a bit?”

“Troublesome, let me just eat them already,” a lazy voice sounded from a corner.

“I think I could extract some more Essence Qi?” the drifting voice of the departing Banshee floated by.

“Bucky, believe it or not, I’ll eat you too? Daring to wake me?” a slightly angry voice.

“Believe it or not, I’ll use the second wish to have Lucifer burn you all to death?” Bucky shouted angrily.

“You dare! Aren’t you afraid of dying!” the angry voice persisted.

“Even if I use a wish against you, I’ll still have one left, I won’t die, but all of you will!” Bucky threatened viciously, “So, don’t provoke me! Get out of here!”

Hissing, low roars, and screams… several different voices echoed simultaneously then suddenly fell silent, the dance floor returned to calm, leaving only the mixed scent of alcohol, cigarettes, and perfume.

Bucky closed the door again, leaning entirely against it, swallowing hard, but his legs trembled slightly.

It scared me to death… what if they actually rushed up regardless and bit me?

After some time, Bucky regained his composure. He recalled that back at the ‘Imperial Command,’ those around the same level as him secretly called him a coward.

Heh heh?

What expressions would those guys have if they knew he dared to shout at a group of Banshee devils?

Heh heh!

Hmm hmm!

Taking a breath, Bucky retrieved a brand new phone prepared by Lucifer’s men last night, and called his subordinates.

His core business wasn’t here but elsewhere; he had been sentenced and was imprisoned here—in truth, he would rather go back to jail than escape as he did now, forced to break out.

“Already there? Good, wait for me at the designated place, I’ll come over later.”

Bucky quickly hung up, letting out a sigh of relief… once he rendezvoused with his backup, he should seriously consider his next move.

“Young Roger, you’ve truly caused me misery…” Bucky sighed.

He then walked over to conductor Cage, picking up a half-filled glass of strange liquid from the table—unsure of what it was, he splashed it on Cage’s face.

Conductor Cage, stimulated, slowly came to his senses. At this moment, he felt extremely fatigued, sluggish, having completely forgotten the events of last night.

“Bu-Bucky, boss?”

“Wake up immediately, we’re leaving this place,” Bucky said directly.

Captain Cage looked at Bucky doubtfully, his memory gradually becoming clearer—he was now helping Bucky, a major criminal, escape from prison!

Thinking about how he was merely a driver of a prisoner transport bus in the prison, but now had become an accomplice in a prison escape, along with the iPhone that Bucky had smashed, Captain Cage was directly in life-doubt mode—simply put, he wasn’t doing well at all.

“Finished, finished, finished! I’m dead! I’m dead for sure!” Cage clutched his head, groaning in pain.

“You won’t die!” Bucky snorted coldly, then took a draw from his cigarette, “How much do you earn driving a prisoner bus in a month? Follow me from now on, and I promise you’ll only die in two situations!”

“What two situations?” Cage asked instinctively.

Bucky said indifferently, “The first situation, you die under my bullet—if you dare betray me.”

Cage shrank his neck, shivering, “Then… then what’s the second one?”

Bucky chuckled, “The second one, you don’t betray me, and you only die on a woman’s belly. Stick with me, even big celebrities, I can make them end up in your bed!”

Cage was stunned, puzzled, “Bucky boss, why, why?”

“You saved me.” Bucky said calmly, “And I… I never owe anyone favors. So I will repay you—in my own way.”

Then… then don’t point a knife at me ah ah ah!!!

Indeed, at this moment, Bucky was holding a fruit knife he had casually picked up from the table when he took a cup.

…

Cage felt extremely confused about his future, almost crying out, following Bucky out of the room with a painful expression.

At this moment, a woman wearing a black strap dress, stunningly beautiful, walked slowly towards them, making Cage feel breathless.

“Charlotte? Anything else?” Bucky frowned.

Charlotte smiled slightly at this moment, “Nothing. I just did a reading for you last night, your action today will not go smoothly, and there’s some danger… so I advise you, maybe stay a few more days.”

Bucky frowned, alternating between different expressions, staring at Charlotte for a long time, “Is it just danger?”

“Isn’t that enough?” Charlotte smiled slightly.

“As long as it’s not deadly.” Bucky tossed his cigarette butt on the ground and stomped it out, then walked past Charlotte, “I’ve always been lucky… Cage, if you don’t want to die, follow me, stop staring!”

Cage reluctantly tore his gaze away and followed Bucky—mainly because Bucky pointed the knife at him again.

“By the way, she asked me to tell you one thing,” Charlotte said again.

Bucky frowned, “What did she say?”

“If, in the future, anyone claims to be from the Michael Club comes looking for you, you should hide as far away as possible,” Charlotte said calmly:

“Michael Club? What the hell is that?” Bucky was taken aback.

“Inside, there might be existences similar to her… what do you think?” Charlotte said indifferently.

Bucky frowned, already having a hard time dealing with one Lucifer, if there were more… He quickly shook his head, annoyed, waving his hand, “Got it.”

The door of “Flaming Red Lips” somehow opened, and the sunlight pierced in, bright enough to make it hard to keep one’s eyes open.

Cage followed Bucky out along the path. He couldn’t help but glance back at the incredibly tempting woman, but at that moment, shadows fell and he could only see those exquisite, white legs and black high heels.

“Geez… drank too much last night,” Bucky rubbed his head again, feeling like staying outside for another second was baking him.

Cage suddenly ran ahead of Bucky, took a deep breath and said, “Bucky boss, I want to play with ten female students! I… I will follow you!”

“No ambition!” Bucky snorted coldly, “At least fifty, idiot!”

“Fifty… fifty!” Cage widened his eyes, as if hearing the Gospel from Heaven.

…

…

City First Hospital, outside the laboratory.

Song Haoran held a document bag in his hand, quickly walking out. He was silent until he reached the underground garage and got into the car, where a slight smile appeared on his brow.

The phone rang—soon, it was connected, and the first thing he heard was his father Song Tianyou’s eager voice, “How, how is it… the result?”

Song Haoran, since he became sensible, rarely heard such urgency in Song Tianyou’s tone. Song Haoran didn’t joke with his father as usual but said softly, “He is surname Song.”

“Really!”

The voice was uncontrollably, incredibly excited.

Song Haoran could even imagine his father, thousands of miles away, how excited he would be… like jumping straight off the chair.

“No mistake.” Song Haoran said seriously, “I took the hair myself, with the root, very complete. I monitored the whole inspection and comparison process. The report is in my hand… Dad, congratulations, you finally found Uncle’s descendant.”

“He’s your relative too!” Song Tianyou’s voice was still excited, yet relieved, “Heaven bless us! It’s truly heaven’s blessing! The bloodline of our Song family has finally been found! Found! Found…”

His father’s voice gradually faded, finally settling into silence, with Song Haoran accompanying him quietly. Suddenly, Song Tianyou spoke, “Haoran, it’s almost New Year, isn’t it?”

Song Haoran instinctively replied, “Hasn’t New Year already passed? Today is January 5th.”

Song Tianyou said softly, “I mean our New Year, Lunar New Year. Bring him back, our family will have a meal together. Let me… let me take a good look at him.”

“I know what to do.” Song Haoran nodded.

“There’s one more thing.” Song Tianyou suddenly stopped him, his voice suddenly changing slightly.

Song Haoran keenly captured the emotional change of his father, frowned, “One more thing?”

Song Tianyou said coldly, “Our Song family is not just some lowly dog that can be bullied… I am going to ask a sister in the domestic big circle to help investigate who was responsible for my poor nephew Luo Qi’s death, and if there’s anyone behind it. If there is…”

Song Haoran said indifferently, “Blood shed by Song family can only be reclaimed by the enemy’s blood. Up to the green, down to the Yellow Springs, no debt unpaid.”
