757: Chapter 1: Birds of a Feather 757: Chapter 1: Birds of a Feather Haruxin Suzuki had just celebrated his twenty-second birthday and successfully graduated from a well-known university abroad.

In the Suzuki Family, a household filled with violent tendencies, the bookish Haruxin Suzuki seemed so out of place.

However, within the Suzuki Family, Haruxin was never mistreated; instead, he gained more and more importance in the eyes of his father, Suzuki Yuuichi.

Times have changed, and the aging Suzuki Yuuichi knew that the foundation he held could no longer be safeguarded purely with fists.

He understood that the future of the Suzuki Family needed someone truly knowledgeable, with a long-term vision.

As the company’s CEO, Haruxin Suzuki managed to start increasing the profits of the Suzuki Family’s evident industries within just a few months.

Such an outstanding scion of the Suzuki Family left nothing to be criticized—thus, there were even rumors that Suzuki Yuuichi was considering having Haruxin Suzuki take charge of the Suzuki-kai.

And the Suzuki-kai was the very essence of the Suzuki Financial Group—an economic source supporting the even larger Suzuki-kai leviathan within various industries.

It is only in such a special realm that something like the vibrant Suzuki-kai could be nurtured.

Some believe that if Haruxin Suzuki could take the helm, the Suzuki-kai would undoubtedly advance further, given Haruxin’s evidently remarkable achievements.

But where there is joy, there is also distress—for instance, the advisors of Haruxin Suzuki’s elder brother, Suzuki Natsuya.

Under normal circumstances, Suzuki Natsuya, being the eldest son, should inherit the Suzuki-kai.

Suzuki Natsuya is a pride of the Suzuki-kai; some even call him the strongest man of the Suzuki-kai, a figure feared throughout the Kanto Region, known for his ruthlessness.

But the fairness of nature lies in that it granted Suzuki Natsuya a strong body and ruthless lordly qualities, yet it did not quietly enhance his wisdom.

Therefore, this strongest man of the Suzuki-kai also bears another nickname—the fool of the Suzuki-kai.

Why?

The following are Suzuki Natsuya’s “achievements.”

During an almost completed transaction, as the talker, Suzuki Natsuya overslept and arrived late, leading to failure.

In an important meeting to ally with friendly forces, he accidentally entered the wrong room, mistook others for the allies, and as a result, inexplicably engaged in a full-blown conflict with a third party, not only failing to establish an alliance but also creating new enemies for Suzuki-kai.

He mistook a government official’s wife for a hostess at a nightclub and seduced her, which later resulted in the official’s wife claiming she wanted to elope for love…

Sold a batch of important goods at a low price…

Purchased large quantities of meat intending to stockpile, only to find they were expired products…

Injured the wrong legislator’s son…

Failed to graduate from high school for ten consecutive years… …

Haruxin Suzuki had just returned from the company, and as soon as he got back to the Suzuki family home, several servants quickly came out to greet him.

Haruxin Suzuki’s handsome appearance was more due to inheriting the genes of his mother, once a very famous movie star. “Young Master Haruxin, would you like to bathe first or eat first?” “Where’s Father?” Haruxin Suzuki smiled slightly, treating the servants with the same warmth. “The Master and Young Master Natsuya went to attend a banquet, so they won’t be back for dinner tonight,” the servant replied very respectfully. “Oh, is that so?

Whose banquet?” Haruxin nodded casually and asked seemingly offhandedly. “I believe it’s Mr.

Sato’s family banquet,”

The Mr.

Sato mentioned by the servant is an esteemed elder in the Kanto Region, exerting significant influence over many affairs.

Haruxin Suzuki suddenly said, “I think I’ll take a bath first.

Once I’m hungry, I’ll call for you to prepare the meal.” “Sure.”

As the servant watched Haruxin Suzuki go up the stairs, they muttered softly, “Sigh…

Young Master Haruxin is so outstanding, it would have been wonderful if the Master brought him along.” “There’s nothing to be done; after all, Young Master Natsuya is the legitimate heir, while Young Master Haruxin is…” “Shush…”

Once in his room, Haruxin Suzuki didn’t really go to wash up but sat alone on the chair by the floor-to-ceiling window, slumping down with fatigue.

He irritably loosened his necktie, poured a glass of water, and drank it in one gulp before he felt the suppressed frustration in his chest ease somewhat. “With Sato’s status, if we can get his support, it would be much smoother for Elder Brother to inherit the Suzuki-kai.

I’ve heard Sato’s woman is quite pretty.

If we can establish a marital connection, it would further leverage Sato’s power and connections… a step to the top.”

Suzuki Haruxin let out a cold laugh, speaking gloomily, “Such a good opportunity is naturally left for the eldest son.

As for me…

I’m just working overtime, knowing nothing.

Father is truly biased…”

Suzuki Haruxin suddenly swung his hand, knocking over the nearby coffee table to vent his inner anger.

But soon, he took a deep breath to calm himself.

He wouldn’t show it.

He wouldn’t display his hatred and dissatisfaction in front of anyone.

At this moment, Suzuki Haruxin seemed to hear something…

It was a sound as if it appeared by his ear, but clearly, within the room, there was no source for such a sound.

Ssss…

Ssss…

Ssss…

Ssss…

Drifting near and far, like the sound of some terrifying creature.

Suzuki Haruxin’s heart started pounding fiercely at this moment—as if he heard a call for himself from within this strange sound.

At this moment, Suzuki Haruxin had only one thought to find the owner of this voice.

He opened the door to the room and walked slowly towards the depths of the Suzuki Family Mansion with a blank expression.

On his way, Suzuki Haruxin did not encounter any servants of the Suzuki family.

For certain parts of the mansion’s depths were prohibited areas for servants.

The meeting place of Suzuki-kai, Suzuki Yuuichi’s study… the place where the Suzuki family stored valuable items.

The treasury room!

Suzuki Haruxin now stood expressionlessly in front of the Suzuki family’s treasury room—here, only Suzuki Yuuichi held the key to open the door.

And that key was always kept on Suzuki Yuuichi.

But now, the door to the treasury room was eerily ajar…

Suzuki Haruxin slowly pushed open the door to the treasury room and walked inside. “Who… who is calling me…”

Suzuki Haruxin’s gaze gradually dimmed, and his voice became weaker.

He realized that his thoughts suddenly became very sluggish at this moment—in fact, since he heard this strange sound, his thinking started slowing down.

Ssss…

Ssss…

Ssss…

Ssss…

Now, his thoughts seemed to have completely halted.

He couldn’t think of anything, even though what he should be seeing right now should have been something terrifying: a peculiar and ferocious small purple snake!

The small purple snake was coiling on the table in the treasury room, raising its head and spitting out a black tongue towards Suzuki Haruxin.

Ssss…

Ssss…

Ssss…

The small purple snake suddenly bounced out from the table!

At this moment, Suzuki Haruxin opened his mouth—the small purple snake, with no resistance, directly entered Suzuki Haruxin’s body through his mouth!

In an instant, Suzuki Haruxin’s face became extremely pained, yet eerily, he made no sound—his eyes had already begun to roll back, the pain twisting his entire face!

Finally, Suzuki Haruxin fell to the ground, motionless.

Shortly after, Suzuki Haruxin got up from the ground again.

His expression had returned to normal, but within his eyes, a trace of purple light flashed briefly and then vanished.

Suzuki Haruxin at this moment began moving his wrist, stretching other parts of his body—it was as if getting familiar with this body. “How fragile.

I never imagined that after all this time not returning to the main world, human bodies would become even more fragile…” ‘Suzuki Haruxin’ muttered to himself murmuringly.

At the same time, another voice coldly echoed in the treasury room, “Yamata no Orochi, a good body can wait for later, first find out where we are now!

I feel we are seemingly very far from China!” ‘Suzuki Haruxin’ chuckled, “Elder Brother Lian Zhen, don’t be impatient.

It seems the identity of this vitreous container is quite good.

Moreover, haven’t you noticed that as soon as we escaped, the surroundings imposed a terrifying pressure on us?

The rejection of the main world on us is even stronger than hundreds of years ago… hiding in this human body has relieved a lot of pressure.” “Hmph, you have hidden in Yan Wuyue World for years, so naturally, you’re not accustomed.

But I have always been in the main world, I got used to this pressure long ago.” “Elder Brother Lian Zhen, but that was when you had an inheritor, residing in the inheritor’s body, right?

Now… it may not be as easy.”

The cold voice suddenly fell silent. ‘Suzuki Haruxin’ then calmly said, “Elder Brother Lian Zhen, since we have already formed an alliance, naturally we shall never forsake one another.

Don’t worry, I won’t let you down… later I’ll find you a body to temporarily attach to.”

Saying this, ‘Suzuki Haruxin’ turned around and walked out of the Suzuki family’s treasury room, chuckling softly, “Is the Transcendent of the main world so declined now?

It seems my return as Elder Chen Yamata no Orochi this time, might be an opportunity…”

The pair walking out of the Suzuki family’s treasury room were none other than Yamata no Orochi and Yin Greedy Wolf, who had fled from the Yan Wuyue World and formed some inexplicably inseparable contract.

Yes… precisely this pair of partners in misfortune.
