Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 300: Stealth bomber development?Chapter 300: Stealth bomber development?
”Stealth bomber?”

Song Xiyun, Meng Chunping and Ma Fengshan all gasped at the same time, with expressions of disbelief on their faces.

Mr. Lin’s idea is really too bold and avant-garde!

They actually dared to try to apply stealth technology to bombers, which is an innovative move beyond imagination.

The concept of stealth fighter was first proposed by the United States.

And they have successfully developed the world’s first stealth fighter - the F-117 Nighthawk.

This fighter jet was finalized as early as 1981 and officially served in the US military in 1983.

It has now been in service for more than four years.

Not only that, according to reliable sources, the Eagle Sauce is also secretly developing a stealth bomber.

At this time, Lin Chenran nodded slightly, smiled and said: ”Yes, it is a stealth bomber!!!”

Hearing this, Song Xiyun frowned tightly, with a strange look on his face, and asked worriedly: ”Do we really have the ability to develop it?”

”Not to mention the high technical difficulty, the capital investment alone is probably an astronomical figure.”

”The Eagle Sauce had previously announced that they had developed a fighter jet called the F-117 Nighthawk, but the outside world generally believed that this was just a scam set up by them to lure the Russian bear into a fierce competition with them in the field of stealth fighters, thereby consuming a large amount of the other side’s national strength.”

Meng Chunping and Ma Fengshan, who were standing nearby, also echoed, ”Yes, General Lin, this matter is of great importance. We must think carefully before we proceed.”

However, Lin Chenran shook his head gently, and said solemnly: ”Mr. Song, the Eagle Sauce Nighthawk F-117 fighter does exist, and it also has a very good stealth capability.”

”As early as 1983, this advanced fighter jet had already begun to serve in the U.S. military.”

At this point, Lin Chenran paused for a moment, then continued to explain: ”However, the relevant information of this Nighthawk F-117 fighter has been kept strictly confidential and has hardly been disclosed to the outside world.”

”This strategy of true and false, real and fake, makes it difficult for Russia and other countries to figure out its true intentions, thus allowing the Eagle Sauce to seize a valuable advantage in the field of stealth.”

After hearing these words, Song Xiyun and others’ faces instantly became gloomy and their brows were furrowed.

Obviously, this news was like a bolt from the blue for them, making them realize that a huge gap had opened up between themselves and the Eagle Sauce.

The gap is getting bigger and bigger!

It is like a huge natural chasm that is difficult to cross.

”So what should we do?”

Ma Fengshan couldn’t help but ask.

There was a hint of hesitation and uneasiness in his voice.

No one can imagine how much effort it will take to catch up with such a powerful opponent.

Everyone knows clearly that the reason why the United States was able to successfully develop that impressive stealth fighter must be because of the strength of the entire country.

They spared no expense, assembled the country’s top scientific research talent, and worked with all their might to achieve such brilliant results.

On the other hand, the 077 Mechanical Military Factory pales in comparison to the Eagle Sauce in terms of financial strength, experience and knowledge accumulated in the field of stealth technology, and many other aspects.

The gap between the two can be described as a world of difference - one is a powerful country with superior strength, while the other is just a third-tier military factory.

Faced with such a huge and disparate gap, everyone present was worried and frowned.

However, in this solemn atmosphere, Lin Chenran displayed an extraordinary calmness and composure.

In his eyes, the seemingly mysterious and unattainable stealth fighter seemed insignificant, as if solving this problem was a piece of cake for him.

Lin Chenran does have such confidence and self-confidence.

He smiled and calmly explained to everyone: ”Don’t be intimidated by the special nature of stealth technology.”

”In fact, if we want to explain the principle in a more popular way, it is nothing more than the clever use of the unique structural design of the fuselage, combined with the special materials used in the fuselage.” ”Thereby achieving the purpose of effectively avoiding radar detection, making it difficult for radar to accurately lock its specific location and existence status.”

Lin Chenran has many stealth fighter design plans in his mind.

The stealth bomber brought out this time was just the modified H-6 bomber that was under design and development.

He also took out the stealth bomber and discussed it with several aviation experts from his own 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

Upon hearing this, Song Xiyun and others felt that there was a lot of potential.

Stealth bomber is a ”new thing” that neither the United States nor Russia can develop for the time being.

If it is developed by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory by then.

This……

It’s not easy just thinking about it!
Done! ! !

Song Xiyun and the other two made a certain decision in their hearts.

A sense of heroism emerged in my heart.

Have a blast!
Everyone has two arms and a head.

Only the Eagles can make stealth fighter jets.

Can’t their 077 Mechanical Arsenal do it?

They just don’t believe it!

”Mr. Ma, you will be the chief designer of the stealth bomber, and Meng Chunping, you will be the deputy chief designer.”

Lin Chenran continued, ”Meng Chunping, you will also serve as the chief designer of the stealth fighter.”

”I plan to develop two stealth aircraft at the same time and proceed simultaneously.”

The research and development of stealth fighters and stealth bombers are similar, but they differ in some aspects.

Of course, the research and development of stealth bombers is much more difficult than that of stealth fighters.

Stealth fighters are small in size and can better avoid radar scanning, achieving ”stealth” in a non-traditional sense.

Stealth bombers are different. They are too large, making it easy for radar to find them.

”Yes! Mr. Lin! We will not let you down and the factory’s expectations.” Ma Fengshan and Meng Chunping responded in unison, assuring Lin Chenran that they would complete the task of designing and developing the stealth fighter.

Song Xiyun on the side smiled slightly: ”Then I will be the chief steward and ensure everyone’s logistics.”

Everyone looked at each other and laughed unconsciously.

Suddenly, laughter broke out throughout the office.

Immediately afterwards, Lin Chenran took out several design drawings of stealth fighter jets from the safe and provided them to Ma Fengshan, Meng Chunping and others for reference.

This provides them with good ideas.

”This is my rough design idea. You can take it back and take a look at it for reference.”

”As for the special materials for the stealth fighter, I have already asked someone to make arrangements, and it should be resolved soon.”

The 077 Mechanical Arsenal also has relevant research on stealth coating materials.

As for when the finished product will be available?

do not know!
