Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 294: The Outdated H-6Chapter 294: The Outdated H-6

After hearing these words, Lin Chenran felt as if struck by thunder, and was stunned for a moment!

How come you don’t fall for it at all?

Although he was full of doubts and disappointment, he still firmly expressed his thoughts:
”Mr. Lin, my request is actually very simple. If the Air Force plans to develop a new type of strategic bomber in the future, then this order must be given to our 077 Mechanical Arms Factory.”

When Mr. Lin heard this, the expression on his face became solemn. He slowly closed his eyes and began to seriously think about the condition proposed by Lin Chenran.

To say that this request is excessive does not seem too far-fetched;

But to say it’s not excessive makes people feel a little hard to accept.

The strategic bomber is almost related to the entire strategic layout of Yan State.

The decision cannot be made lightly.

Lin Chenran stared at Old Lin with burning eyes, feeling very nervous.

What he expects is not just a verbal promise, but a real guarantee.

Ensure that the 077 Mechanical Arsenal can become the design and development factory for the Yan Country Air Force’s strategic bombers.

After a long while, Elder Lin finally opened his eyes, raised his lips slightly, revealed a kind smile and said: ”No problem, if our Air Force really has the need to design and develop a new bomber in the future, we will definitely give priority to your 077 Machinery Arsenal. You are the first choice.”

When Lin Chenran heard this, his frown tightened even more, and a bitter smile appeared unconsciously on his face. He asked in disbelief, ”What?”

“Just the first choice?”

He secretly complained in his heart, thinking: ”Mr. Lin, Mr. Lin, you are playing word games with me!”

”Behind the so-called ’first choice’, there must be other alternatives!”

Sure enough, ginger is still spicy!

Meanwhile, Elder Lin said calmly, ”Lin, I know the research and development capabilities of your 077 Machinery Military Factory like a mirror.”

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

”Although I can’t give you a definite guarantee, but with the outstanding design and R&D capabilities of your 077 Mechanical Military Factory, once this thing is in your hands, can it fly like a bird with wings?”

The design and R&D capabilities of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory are second to none in the entire Yan Country, and it always stands at the forefront of scientific and technological development.

Even if we look at the world, it is unique and one-of-a-kind.

Hearing this, Lin Chenran couldn’t help but smile bitterly and responded: ”Mr. Lin, I naturally have full confidence in the research and development capabilities of our 077 Mechanical Military Factory, but...”

Before he finished speaking, he shook his head helplessly.

”Relax!”

Seeing this, Mr. Lin gently raised his hand and patted Lin Chenran on the shoulder.

At the same time, there was a reassuring look in his eyes.

”Oh!” Lin Chenran sighed deeply, still feeling a little worried.

At this moment, the car slowly arrived at its destination and stopped steadily.

After the car door opened, Lin Chenran and his group got out of the car one after another. When their feet just touched the ground and their eyes looked forward, everyone was stunned by the scene in front of them.

Not far ahead, several H-6 bombers stood quietly like steel behemoths. They were arranged in neat rows, exuding an unparalleled majesty.

The huge and solid fuselage, under the reflection of the bright sunshine, shines with a cold and dazzling metallic light, like a group of extremely sharp swords piercing the sky, which makes people feel frightened and a sense of awe arises in their hearts.

As people gradually approached these huge aircraft, the shock became stronger. Standing close and looking up, one can clearly see the huge body and complex and sophisticated structure of the H-6 bomber.

Every component and every detail seems to tell the ups and downs it has experienced and the glorious achievements it has made.

It is undeniable that although the H-6 bomber once had a glorious history, with the continuous development and progress of the times, its current performance can no longer fully meet the growing combat needs of the modern air force.

This medium bomber, which was born fifty or sixty years ago, has gone through many vicissitudes of life. It is time for it to unload its burdens and have a good ”rest”.

At this time, Lin Chenran in the crowd suddenly asked: ”Mr. Lin, do we have a chance to go inside the H-6 bomber and take a look? I’m very curious about its specific layout.”

His eyes were fixed on the bomber in front of him, full of anticipation.

When Mr. Lin heard this request, he answered without even thinking about it: ”Of course, no problem!”

It turned out that Lin Chenran and other senior executives from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal were invited to the air force base.

One of the main purposes is to allow them to visit the H-6 bomber in person and have a more intuitive and clear understanding of it.

Only then can we better carry out relevant upgrade and transformation work on the H-6 bomber.

When everyone heard this, they immediately smiled and their excitement was beyond words.

You know, such an opportunity to get close and have an in-depth understanding of the internal structure of the H-6 bomber is quite rare!
Everyone was eager to get a glimpse of the true interior of this legendary fighter jet.

Although the performance of the H-6 bomber may be slightly lagging behind in some aspects, it is undeniable that it is still a mysterious weapon held tightly in the hands of the Yan Country Air Force.

Due to its uniqueness and confidentiality, it is almost impossible for ordinary people to get close to it.

Later, under the guidance of the Yan Country Air Force soldiers, Lin Chenran and his party finally stepped into the interior of the H-6 bomber.

Then, a dedicated technician came to explain in detail the basic data of the H-6 bomber. He held a document in his hand and pointed at various parts of the aircraft before introducing them.

The first thing that catches your eye is the 34.80-meter-long fuselage, with smooth and majestic lines;

The maximum diameter of the fuselage reaches 2.5 meters, giving people a sense of solidity and reliability;
Look at the huge wingspan of 32.93 meters, like a giant eagle spreading its wings to take off;

Its height should not be underestimated, it is 10.36 meters high.

As for weight, the bomber’s empty weight is as high as 37200 kg, but once it takes off fully loaded, its maximum take-off weight is an astonishing 75800 kg!

Such a huge body needs powerful power to soar in the air.

Speaking of this, we have to mention its power system - two turbojet 8 engines.

The maximum thrust of each of these domestically produced turbojet engines can reach about 9.5 tons.

It is precisely thanks to this power output device that the H-6 can successfully take off and perform various tasks.

Of course, compared with other countries’ bombers, its speed is… hard to describe!!!
