Chapter 283: The Second Generation Strategic Nuclear Submarine Demonstrates Its Killer NatureChapter 283 The second generation of strategic nuclear submarines shows its killer nature

In a spacious and bright conference room, a group of senior leaders of the Yan State Navy sat together, their eyes fixed on the design and development schematics of the new second-generation strategic nuclear submarine displayed on the projection screen.

Everyone’s eyes were sparkling with excitement and anticipation, and that light was like a golden flame, burning fiercely.

These battle-hardened generals were like a group of children seeing their favorite toys for the first time, their eyes filled with endless joy and curiosity.

It’s as if you are admiring a unique work of art. The obsessed look is moving.

Time passed by minute by minute, but the people present did not notice the passage of time at all.

They were completely immersed in this magical design and couldn’t extricate themselves.

Finally, after a long while, Mr. Zhang, who was sitting in the first seat, broke the silence.

He turned his head slightly to look at Mr. Huang beside him, and said with a smile: ”Mr. Huang, please explain to us in detail the design composition and related principles of the second-generation strategic nuclear submarine.”

When Mr. Huang heard this, he immediately stood up, cleared his throat, and began to tell the story to everyone.

This second-generation strategic nuclear submarine is the result of a lot of hard work and wisdom.

It is a masterpiece that was finally completed by Lin Chenran and Huang Lao’s professional nuclear submarine design team after ten days of hard work day and night.

The most eye-catching aspect of this new design is the modification of the tortoise shell above the ship.

Through ingenious ideas and sophisticated technical means, the ”slimming” project of the turtle shell was successfully achieved.

The originally prominent turtle shell has now disappeared without a trace.

Surprisingly, however, the crucial ballistic missile launch area was preserved intact.

Not only that, the second-generation strategic nuclear submarine has also undergone tremendous changes in appearance after this improvement.

The entire ship’s lines have become smoother and more slender, changing its previous bloated and clumsy image.

The direct benefit of such a change is that it can greatly reduce the noise generated by submarines when sailing underwater.

The new generation of strategic nuclear submarines have perfectly matched their essential attributes as underwater killers.

It will be like a ghost hidden in the deep sea, silently shuttling between the waves and dealing a fatal blow to the enemy.

……

Then, Mr. Huang cleared his throat and began to describe in detail the key parameters of this impressive second-generation strategic nuclear submarine.

The first is the water displacement, which is approximately 6500 tons.

This figure has increased significantly compared to the first generation of submarines.

When it dives underwater, its displacement is an astonishing 8000 tons.

The length and width of the submarine - 120.7 meters in length and 10.2 meters in width, and a draft of 8 meters, which is sufficient to ensure its stability.

In terms of the power system, this new type of strategic nuclear submarine uses two domestically-produced pressurized reactors as its core driving force.

After the subsequent domestically produced second-generation pressurized reactor is born, the second-generation strategic nuclear submarine will only need one.

Such a powerful power configuration enables the submarine to burst out at unimaginable speeds underwater. According to preliminary estimates, its maximum speed can reach 30 knots or even higher.

The second-generation strategic nuclear submarine has excellent diving capabilities, with a maximum diving depth of 300 meters.

Mr. Huang introduced these advanced technical indicators in an endless stream, and the senior leaders of the Yan State Navy present listened attentively. From time to time, they nodded slightly to show their agreement, and from time to time they whispered a few words, their eyes revealing excitement and anticipation that were difficult to conceal.

As Mr. Huang finished his introduction, the entire conference room fell into a brief silence, but it was soon broken by warm applause.

The basic configuration of this second-generation strategic nuclear submarine is very high, which meets the needs of the Yanguo Navy. Compared with the previous generation of 091 strategic nuclear submarines, this new submarine can be said to have a qualitative leap.

Whether in terms of size, power output, or quiet performance in water, it has achieved great breakthroughs.

Especially for Mr. Zhang, who has been paying attention to the research and development of the second-generation strategic nuclear submarines, this progress makes him feel very gratified.

Mr. Zhang was not satisfied with the initial version of the second-generation strategic nuclear submarine design.

The main reason is that the combat effectiveness of the nuclear submarine built by that plan is only slightly stronger than that of the 091 strategic nuclear submarine.

There are more areas capable of launching ballistic missiles.

However, the quietness is destroyed and the underwater noise is greatly increased.

But the final result presented before his eyes now far exceeded his expectations.

Zhang Lao’s face was filled with joy, and he nodded and praised: ”Not bad, it’s really good! This second-generation strategic nuclear submarine is tailor-made for our navy and fully meets our combat needs!”

Mr. Huang responded modestly: ”This is all thanks to Lin and the hard work of the design and development team.”

”Otherwise, the design of this second-generation strategic nuclear submarine would not be so perfect.”

Zhang Lao waved his hand and interrupted, ”Everyone has contributed. Thank you for your efforts in building the navy.”

Everyone has contributed. The design and development of such an excellent strategic nuclear submarine is inseparable from the efforts of everyone.

”Mr. Zhang, we need to redesign and develop a hydraulic reactor, and the 077 Mechanical Military Factory provides special composite materials, but...”

Mr. Huang hesitated slightly and spoke in a low voice.

Re-developing a new type of water pressurized reactor will definitely require a lot of investment.

Mr. Huang’s move is to make the Yan Kingdom Navy ”pay money”.

Zhang Lao turned around and glanced at Lin Chenran who was standing beside him, then he laughed and scolded, ”It must be you who did this!”

Lin Chenran scratched his head and did not deny it: ”Mr. Zhang, if you want a more advanced nuclear submarine with better quietness, you definitely need a new type of hydraulic reactor.”

”The underwater noise of the 091 strategic nuclear submarine reached 135 decibels, and the enemy’s anti-submarine sonar immediately discovered our nuclear submarine.”

Lin Chenran told the truth, the 091 strategic nuclear submarines in the hands of the Yan State Navy made really loud noise underwater.

It is louder than ocean noise. The enemy can immediately detect the existence of the 091 strategic nuclear submarine through sonar.

Still want to be an underwater killer?
Do you still want to be a ghost hidden in the deep sea?
Silently shuttle between the waves and give the enemy a fatal blow?
Dream on!
When Mr. Zhang saw the ”powerful weapon of a great power” - the new generation of strategic nuclear submarines with superior performance and powerful capabilities, a bright smile spread across his face.

”Our navy has provided funds for the research and development of a new type of pressurized water reactor!”

Lin Chenran secretly breathed a sigh of relief when he heard this.

What worried him the most just now was that the Yan Country Navy was ”getting something for free”.

And now the big stone in my heart is slowly being put down.

Mr. Zhang also knows that every time a military-industrial enterprise gets something for free, it will cause it to develop a ”rebellious spirit.”

So he would not do this unless it was absolutely necessary!

As Yan’s economy develops more and more rapidly.

And with the increasing number of heavy smokers, military spending has now increased.
